Prince Harry is reportedly set to propose to Meghan Markle this year

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry is reportedly set to propose to girlfriend Meghan Markle by the “end of summer”.
The 32-year-old royal has been dating the 35-year-old actress for almost one year, and sources close to the flame-haired hunk and his partner believe he will pop the question later this year as they have openly discussed taking their relationship to the next step.
Speaking about the couple’s relationship, a source told US Weekly: “They will be engaged by the end of summer. [They] have spoken candidly about their future. They see a life together.”
And the ‘Suits’ actress has admitted she will have to move to London in the future because her beau will not be able to “uproot” to her home town in Toronto, Canada.
The source added: “Meghan feels a move to London is inevitable. It’s not like Harry can uproot.”
And the brunette beauty is believed to have added her personal touch to Harry’s home in Nottingham.
A friend close to Meghan said: “Harry knows very little about interior design, and that’s something Meghan is particularly good at. He has a few more plants, nice candles — and his kitchen is well-stocked too.”
And the couple are keen to work on ventures together in the future.
The source said: “They genuinely enjoy going to restaurants, being outdoors and experiencing new places. They’re not trying to hide.
“They speak about maybe working together on a project.
“They’re so in love. I honestly can’t stress how happy she is.”
Meanwhile, Meghan is currently shooting the new series of the popular American series, and she has admitted she finds it “hard” balancing her relationship with her work.
Another insider told HELLO! magazine: “It will definitely be hard for her to do both ‘Suits’ and continue building her relationship with Harry.”

The Duke of Cambridge pitches a tent blindfolded on trip in Wales

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Cambridge pitched a tent whilst blindfolded during his recent visit to Wales.
The 34-year-old royal joined three groups of children at Llanfoist Fawr Primary School in Monmouthshire on Wednesday (01.03.17) to launch the Prince William Award, which is run by SkillForce, and the star has been praised for his skill at putting up the equipment without looking.
One student named Keaton Oliver, 12, told Express.co.uk: “He [William] was really good to be honest. It was really exciting.”
But William was “stitched-up” during his trip as he was the only one to be blindfolded during the exercise.
Ben Slade, the chief executive of SkillForce, which William is a patron of, said: “There aren’t many members of the Royal Family who’ve tried to pitch a tent blindfold. He was asking if he was the only one left with one on and if this was a stitch-up.”
Prince William later visited six year old children at Bishopstone Primary School in Swindon where they build towers made of marshmallows and drinking straws, and Prince William – who has Prince George, three, and 21-month-old Princess Charlotte with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge – openly praised the pupils for their achievements throughout the day.
Speaking to the group, he said: “Very good.
“Look at that! Brilliant!
“Ta-da, look at that! Good job guys. Amazing.”
And later he teamed up with eight to 11 year old children to play football.
William teamed up with the national education charity to put together the scheme, which is aimed at children aged between six and 14, to help them develop character, confidence and resilience in life situations.
Speaking at the event, he said: “I believe that an individual’s academic success, wellbeing and mental health depends not only on traditional qualifications, but on nurturing non-academic attributes like self-confidence, discipline and determination.
“It is not enough that someone is good at English and maths if they cannot withstand the pressures that life throws up.
“The ability for a child to develop character, courage and resilience to overcome setbacks is something about which I care deeply. Over the years I have seen, time and again, how the development of personal skills puts a young person in better stead for education, future employment and for life.”

Meghan Markle will find long distance romance 'hard'

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle will find it “hard” work balancing her relationship with Prince Harry while filming the new series of ‘Suits’.
The 35-year-old actress is currently back in her native Canada where she is preparing for the filming of the next instalment of the USA Network legal drama, in which she portrays paralegal Rachel Zane, and will once again be separated from the 32-year-old royal next month until November.
A ‘Suits’ insider told HELLO! magazine: “It will definitely be hard for her to do both ‘Suits’ and continue building her relationship with Harry.”
It comes after reports that the brunette beauty is planning on quitting the show in favour of moving in with the flame-haired hunk.
So far, Meghan and Harry have had to endure a long distance relationship, but if she quits her role on the drama series she will be free to move in with her beau, who currently resides in Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London.
Meanwhile, the loved-up couple may get a trial run of living together later this year as Harry is set to head off to Canada for the Invictus Games, and could stay with Meghan whilst he’s there.
A source said recently: “Harry has a lot on his agenda over the coming months but will be very hands-on with organising the Invictus Games. He will be working with the local organising committee to ensure that everything goes smoothly. He’s a huge fan of Toronto and has had nothing but support from everyone involved. Of course it will also give him a legitimate reason to spend more time with Meghan, he’s truly smitten.”
Harry and Megan initially kept details of their relationship under wraps but they’re now willing to share it with the world after they were spotted walking hand-in-hand in London.
A source said: “An engagement is certainly one possible outcome … They are really just enjoying spending time together.”
It comes after it was claimed the pair have been pretty “inseparable” since the beginning of the year.
An insider shared: “They are really just enjoying spending time together … It just feels very natural for them both. It feels easy – like they’ve known each other for a long time.”

Prince George makes pancakes at nursery

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George learnt how to make pancakes at nursery on Shrove Tuesday (28.02.17).
The three-year-old son of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge had to attend The Maria Montessori Institute in London while his 35-year-old mother was opening the new Evelina London Children’s Hospital in Lambeth, south London, and Catherine revealed he was making the sweet treat while she was on duty.
When asked by four-year-old James Wheeler where George was, she told him: “George? I should have brought him. He’s at his Montessori nursery today making pancakes.”
Catherine got to speak with James’ mother Rebecca Bridges-Wheeler, who was overcome with emotion speaking about her son’s early arrival at 23 weeks old.
Wellling up, she shared: “I got a bit emotional talking to Catherine. It sometimes just rises up. She stopped talking and let me compose myself. You could see the sympathy in her eyes. She was so warm and down-to-earth.”
Catherine – who also has 21-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte with William – took time out of her busy schedule to visit the new centre near Lambeth Palace, which features 59 bedrooms and cost £13 million to build with funding from the Ronald McDonald Charities.
The brunette beauty officially opened the new hospital by hanging a plaque to mark her visit.
She was then given a guided tour of each unit before talking to the families of the children who will benefit from the work of the staff and the modern facilities.
Catherine told another parent they were “extraordinary” and that she “can’t imagine” how they are dealing with their child Mia Mifsud’s rare illness, autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease.
The three-year-old girl bravely had her kidneys taken out and is waiting on a transplant, which she can’t have until she puts on weight.
Luckily for Mia her father, Dion Mifsud, is a match and he is to donate his own kidney to his little girl.
Mia’s mother, Danielle, was full of praise of the staff at the new centre.
She said: “It’s the best hospital. The renal team is just amazing.”

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip open Charterhouse museum

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip opened a new museum at Charterhouse in London on Tuesday (28.02.17).
The 90-year-old monarch and her 95-year-old husband were given their very own almshouse brother as they arrived.
Mr. Matthews, a retired organ player and one of 45 brothers who lives on site, recalled meeting the Duke of Edinburgh for a second time, and how jolly and fun he was.
He said: “The last time I was at the palace, he said to me ‘you look emaciated’ and this time he said to me ‘you look starved’ and I said to him ‘well they do look after us very well here’.
“He always likes to leave you with a smile, a little joke and he did the same again.”
Matthews was tasked with playing the National Anthem before the Queen unveiled a plaque on site, and praised the couple for their dedication to maintaining the “historic connection with Charterhouse” that the royals have had over the years.
According to The Sun newspaper, he said: “We can’t prompt them. We get these invitations from time to time and it’s lovely for us personally to do it, but also it’s lovely they keep up this historic connection with Charterhouse.”
Elizabeth and Philip also got to meet school children who were busy making their very own coat of arms at the brand new learning facility.
Following their visit, Anna Kendrick – who hosted the event – said the couple took their duties very seriously and the queen was more than willing to play along with having her own almshouse brother and made sure she got to speak to them before the day’s proceedings kicked off.
Anna said: “When we sent the briefs to the palace of what the plan was, we said (their) brothers would be introduced as they arrived and the Queen said ‘yes but when do I get to have a chat with my brother?’.
“So before they went into the chapel they each had an opportunity to have a few minutes with their brothers.”

The 29-year-old son of Caroline, the Princess of Hanover, and the daughter of Countess Donna Paola Marzotto had their first child together on Tuesday (28.02.17), according to Hello! magazine, with details of the birth yet to be revealed.

The 31-year-old beauty was seen at the Copa del Rey Mapfre Sailing Cup awards ceremony sporting a bonny bump.
Their new arrival comes just over a year after the pair held a civil ceremony in July 2015, before jetting off to Italy for a religious wedding on the Borromean Islands in the August.
In March last year, Beatrice opened up about wanting to have a big family, but said she was prioritising securing a stable job first.
She said: “I come from a big family, and I want children of my own. But at the moment I’m thinking about putting my career in a place where it wouldn’t get threatened by the presence of children.”
Their little bundle of joy is the fourth grandchild for Princess Caroline.
The tot’s cousins will be Sacha and India, the son and daughter of Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana Santo Domingo and Caroline’s daughter Charlotte Casiraghi’s son Raphaël, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Gad Elmaleh.

Prince Charles backs campaign to save Welsh cattle

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles visited Llandeilo in South Wales to donate to The National Trust to help safeguard a rare breed of cattle.
The 68-year-old royal has been praised for his efforts and generous donation by the charity, which are working to save The White Park Cattle from extinction as they are of great importance to history of the local area.
National Trust Director for Wales, Justin Albert said: “The White Park Cattle are of special significance to Welsh history with their historic roots at Dinefwr.
“This is why we are doing everything we can to ensure that the breed survives for future generations.
“Both personally and on behalf of the National Trust we are honoured that His Royal Highness has taken such a personal interest in our ancient herd of White Park Cattle.”
The rare beed have been walking the grass of Llandeilo for thousands of years and now there are just 750 on the earth, which means they are even more rare than the Giant Panda.
The National Trust started a campaign last autumn to help raise £36,000 to purchase more of the cows and they are well on their way to making the total thanks to the Prince of Wales.
Charles has long been an advocate for protecting the earth and its inhabitants and most recently made headlines for his ideas on climate change.
His Royal Highness ignited the debate among British MPs when he called for action on climate change, saying: “We might be more inclined to think about the longer term if we were more aware of what is happening around us.
“Perhaps daily weather forecasts could include a few basic facts about the Earth’s vital signs, or details of where climate change is increasing the likelihood of damaging weather?”
MP Philip Davies hit out at the Prince’s call for details of where climate change is increasing to be included in daily weather forecasts.
He said, according to the Daily Mail newspaper: “As ideas go, it is definitely high on the scale of idiotic. We put the weather forecast on to know if we need to take a brolly out with us.
“We don’t need some propaganda shoved down our throats. I’m afraid that Prince Charles is far too keen to get involved in a political debate and a political issue.”

The 69-year-old royal – who is married to Prince Charles – recently paid a visit to the 4th Battalion The Rifles at their base at Normandy Barracks in Aldershot Garrison, Hampshire, South West England, where she inspected the soldiers before reading out a speech to the families of the men who were based in Al Asad Airbase in Western Iraq, who she says are the “unsung heroes”.
After speaking with troops, she said: “In the most difficult circumstances you have shown your usual skill and spirit, no matter wha the circumstances, and I also know that this will have been enhanced by your irrepressible humour.”
And in a message in support of their loved-ones, he said: “Speaking as an army officer’s daughter, may I say that I think sometimes the unsung heroes are the families.

On Camilla’s visit, Commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Carl Boswell, commented: “The boys all returned after six months away and getting home seeing your family, seeing your friends, is just the biggest party known to man, it’s great morale and having Her Royal Highness here today to mark that occasion has been a real privilege for us.”

Princess Anne's yacht repaired with a fan belt from a Vauxhall Astra

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne’s yacht was repaired using a £20 fan belt from a Vauxhall Astra after the vessel broke down at sea.
The Princess was on a sailing holiday with her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, off the coast of Scotland when the problem occurred and she recalled the story to yachtswoman Celia Bull at the London Boat Show last month.
Celia, who runs a yacht charter business, explained: “A request was sent out and the good folk of Tobermory commandeered a Vauxhall Astra fan belt to set the royal engine to rights.
“She said it was a really good memory – she loves sailing around the Inner Hebrides.
“The Princess was quite amused the fan belt came off an Astra and was impressed by the resourcefulness of people here finding a way of getting something to work.
“When she came over to the Sail Scotland stand [at the Boat Show] she was not expecting a yachtswoman from [the Isle of] Eigg – her face lit up and told the story.”
Celia said the fan belt from the Astra helped ensure that the Princess was eventually able to get back on course.
She explained, according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “You cannot cool the engine without the pumps working. It doesn’t matter if it is a £500 boat or a £500,000 boat – you need a fan belt. They phoned around and a belt was found in Tobermory
“The Astra fan belt got them back to where they were going to.”
Princess Anne and her husband were given a guided tour of the London Boat Show last month, when they were seen admiring some of the world’s finest and priciest vessels.

Meghan Markle is 'totally taken' by Prince George and Princess Charlotte

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle is “totally taken” by Prince George and Princess Charlotte after meeting them for the first time.
The 35-year-old actress, who has been dating Prince Harry since mid-2016, was recently introduced to the young royals at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s family home in Norfolk, England, and Meghan relished spending time with the children.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “They all had tea and biscuits, and took a walk in the grounds with the dogs.”
What’s more, it was even reported that Meghan offered to babysit Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, who was born in May 2015.
Meghan meeting Prince Harry’s niece and nephew represents the latest landmark in their relationship and the actress’ ‘Suits’ co-star Patrick J. Adams recently gave the couple’s burgeoning romance his seal of approval.
Patrick also said Meghan is perfectly suited to coping with the stresses that come with dating a Prince.
He said: “I’m super excited for her. As you can imagine, it is a massive deal, obviously, if you hadn’t noticed. I didn’t wanna get involved. I just wanted to say, ‘I love you, I support you, I hope you’re happy. You seem really happy’. And if she ever needed anybody to talk to in the madness – because it is madness, it’s madness what the world puts somebody through when they’re going through this process.
“But if there’s anyone in the world who is designed to be able to deal with it and deal with it professionally, it’s Meghan Markle.
“I’m just super excited for her and I hope that all of the whatever, whatever, I don’t even know what it is, but all of the madness passes at some point and they can just get down to the business of enjoying each other’s company and hopefully not have to worry about this. But I guess being in this situation, it probably goes on forever.”

Prince Harry 'to participate in Walking With The Wounded's charity trek'

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry is expected to participate in the Walking With The Wounded’s charity trek from California to Washington DC.
The 32-year-old royal, who left the British army in 2015, is poised to play some part in the 1,200-mile trek on behalf of the charity – and organisers also hope his girlfriend Meghan Meghan will make an appearance.
An insider explained to the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “It would be a great coup if Meghan joined in, too. Walking With the Wounded will be keeping their fingers crossed. As she is American, everyone is hoping she will get involved.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Walking With the Wounded insisted nothing has been decided so far.
The spokesperson said: “We have not announced anything on a trek across America.”
The charity raises funds for the re-education and re-training of Britain’s wounded servicemen and women.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to honour the children of those who have died serving in the Armed Forces.
The trio of British royals are to stage an event at Buckingham Palace on May 13, when the youngsters will be able to enjoy live performances in the gardens of the historic landmark, as well as games on the lawn and the chance to explore the grounds of the royal residence.
In a statement, Kensington Palace explained: “The Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry hope the event will provide an opportunity for these children to broaden their support networks amongst other families with similar experiences.”

Meghan Markle named among 2017's most eligible party guests

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle has been ranked fourth on Tatler’s list of this year’s most eligible party guests.
The 35-year-old actress, who has been dating Prince Harry since mid-2016, finished behind Dame Natalie Massenet and Erik Torstensson, the Delevingne family and Lord Settrington on the magazine’s annual list, which ranks would-be party guests.
The 32-year-old royal, on the other hand, comes in at number 22 on the list, with Tatler saying Prince Harry is “slowing down(ish)” and that he now prefers “shooting parties to doing shots”.
Elsewhere, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are at number 42, in part because of their apparently impressive moves on the dancefloor.
Publication of the list comes shortly after it was reported that Prince Harry could stay with the actress in Toronto, Canada – where Meghan’s ‘Suits’ show is filmed – during the Invictus Games later this year.
The Paralympic-style multi-sport event was created by Prince Harry and is scheduled to take place between September 23 and September 30.
A source said recently: “Harry has a lot on his agenda over the coming months but will be very hands-on with organising the Invictus Games. He will be working with the local organising committee to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
“Of course it will also give him a legitimate reason to spend more time with Meghan, he’s truly smitten.”
And despite dating for less than a year, it has also been suggested that the high-profile duo could soon tie the knot.
A source previously said: “An engagement is certainly one possible outcome … They are really just enjoying spending time together.”

Princess Anne visits Sussex to celebrate Restorative Justice Partnership scheme

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Anne visited Sussex to celebrate the third year of their Restorative Justice Partnership scheme.
The 66-year-old royal, who is the Patron of the Restorative Justice Council, visited Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourner in the East Sussex town of Lewes on Thursday (23.02.17) to mark their anniversary of the scheme and to learn more about the programme.
According to Brighton and Hove Independent Online Anne spoke to volunteers, people who have unfortunately been a victim of crime, as well as a previous offender, all of who spoke about their experiences under the programme, to prove the restorative justice helps to bring people together.
Speaking at the event, a facilitator for the partnership named Stephen Wells said: “Restorative justice is about people coming together, their voices being heard and feelings registered.”
And PCC Bourner revealed the scheme was “slow” in the beginning but soon picked up the pace, with their first priority being the victims.
She said: “When Police and Crime Commissioners were given the responsibility to deliver victim services, some areas of the country were slow to buy in to the idea of restorative justice.
“In Sussex I made it a priority to put victims at the heart of the criminal justice system and had no doubt that restorative justice should form an important part of this provision.”
However, Bourner is now proud to notice a great change and progression since it was first set up and has described the restorative justice team as a “dedicated group”.
She continued: “Before our partnership was formed restorative justice was inconsistent across Sussex. Two-and-a-half years down the line we have a dedicated group of practitioners, criminal justice agencies and voluntary organisations from across the spectrum of criminal justice, all working together to ensure both victims and wrongdoers are offered the chance to access a restorative service.”

The Duchess of Cambridge is desperate to watch Moana

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duchess of Cambridge is desperate to watch ‘Moana’.
The 35-year-old royal – who has three-year-old son Prince George and 21-month-old daughter Princess Charlotte with his husband the Duke of Cambridge – discussed the popular Disney animated film on her recent visit to the Multi-disciplinary Intervention Service Torfaen (MIST) on Wednesday (22.02.17) where she revealed she hasn’t been to see the production yet, although she has hinted she is envious of those who have seen it, according to PEOPLE.
When asked by the children at the event in South Wales if she had seen the movie starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Nicole Scherzinger, the brunette beauty said: “I haven’t seen it. You lucky things.”
And Duchess Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton prior to marrying 34-year-old Prince William – considers a trip to the movies where she can indulge in popcorn a “real treat”.
She continued: “It is a real treat to go to the cinema, isn’t it?”
Catherine’s visit surprised people who flocked to the event to see her as they presumed she would not greet them and would “jump” into her career following her appearance and head home, which she didn’t do.
One guest named Carole Turner, said: “She is just amazing. They gave her tulips.
“It was so nice to see her. I didn’t think she would come over to us in this weather, I thought she would jump straight in the car.
“She was so lovely.”
And during Catherine’s visit police had to take on extra security measures to protect the star during her visit.
Speaking previously, a police spokeswoman said: “Using a drone will allow officers to gain vital information. As their capability develops they have been deployed for more general policing work.”
As well as the drone cameras, local police were also armed with tasers.

Queen Elizabeth had to shake 'grisly' cold ahead of Buckingham Palace party

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth was desperate to shake “grisly” cold in time for the Buckingham Palace party.
The 90-year-old royal had been struck down with a terrible cold over December last year, which stopped her from attending a number of events and from travelling to her Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, but her goal was to get rid of the pesky illness so she could enjoy the gathering at the London site.
And the Queen’s attendance at the bash and the fact she is cold-free pleased a number of guests.
Speaking about the monarch and her health during a speech at the Order of Companions of Honour service at the palace, which has been obtained by the Mirror Online, Lady Williams of Crosby said: “I was delighted she was able to make this and was now better.
“She said they had a big party in the palace so she had to get better, so she did get better.
“She also said it was a particularly grisly mixture of cold and flu which had been going around, lots of people have had it.”
The 86-year-old politician has praised the Queen for her “sweet” and “charming” temperament.
She said: “She’s as sweet as ever and very charming. And very friendly.”
And Lady Williams believes the Queen looked “very good” during the appearance.
She continued: “She looked good, I’m glad to say – she looked very good.”
Meanwhile, the Queen has had a busy few weeks as she recently paid her respects to those who died in the natural disaster at the opening of the Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial earlier in the week, which remembered the victims and their families on the sixth anniversary of the Canterbury Earthquake in New Zealand.
Speaking at the event, she said: “As you gather today to dedicate the new Canterbury Earthquake National Memorial, there will be difficult and painful memories, but also memories of many heroic and selfless acts, of the caring and creative nature of the Christchurch people, and of the help that came so readily from emergency and rescue personnel.
“I hope that the new memorial will provide a place to remember, to grieve for what is lost, and to give thanks for what remains.”
