Jonah Hill still finds brother’s death painful

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonah Hill still finds his brother’s death “painful” to talk about.
The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ actor’s older sibling Jordan Feldstein passed away from a pulmonary thromboembolism – a blood clot in the lungs – aged 40 last December and the 34-year-old star is still devastated by the loss.
Asked about his brother during an interview with DJ Howard Stern, Jonah declined to talk about him and explained: “The only reason I don’t want to talk about it, is because it’s painful… Not out of disrespect. But I miss him and I love him and I wish he was here.”
The ‘Mid 90s’ director doesn’t go out partying much himself because he doesn’t drink as he hates how he feels when he’s hungover.
He admitted: “I don’t drink. I just don’t drink. I just don’t party. I like to be healthier. I like to be in a good mood.
“Being hungover affects your mood — to me at least. I support people who are living their lives and being happy.”
But Jonah does have one “f***ed up” vice he’s desperate to quit – smoking.
He said: “I’m a human being, so I’m trying to quit smoking. That’s a really f**ked up one. It’s the last thing I’m working on.”
The ‘Maniac’ star is very close to his younger sister, Beanie Feldstein, and insisted the ‘Lady Bird’ actress hasn’t followed in his footsteps because her passion for acting started long before his.
He said: “My sister’s 10 years younger than me. She’s my best friend in the entire world. I wouldn’t have made it through life without her.
“She wanted to be an actor way before I did. She’s been acting since she was like three. I fell into an accidental, very exciting, 15-year acting career.”

Gordon Ramsay wore son’s pants

OHMYGOSSIP — Gordon Ramsay wore his son’s pants to reflect on how much he missed him after he went to university.
The 51-year-old chef – who has Megan, 20, twins Jack and Holly, 18, and 16-year-old Tilly with wife Tana – borrowed some underwear from the only other male in his household and it was only when he put the garments on that he realised how much he wanted his son, who is studying at Exeter University, to be back home.
He admitted: “I went upstairs to Jack’s bedroom last weekend and I opened the door. His socks and pants are there – and five minutes later I am wearing them.
“He is the same size. All mine were in the bloody wash so I thought, ‘Jack has nicked my bloody pants again’. Low and behold upstairs in his drawer. So I put them on and just sat on the bed thinking, ‘Damn bud I miss you’. Seriously.”
Though Gordon was prepared for Jack leaving home, he was still “gutted” when he waved him off to embark on the next chapter of his life.
He told talk show host James Corden: “It was really tough. I spent all summer with Jack, swimming every day, so I knew this moment was coming. I was gutted.
“We had 20 minutes to unload the car and get him into this tiny little flat, like a prison cell, I was gutted. We unpacked all this stuff and had to say goodbye.
“I was gutted, I got back in the car and I was a mess.”
And Jack’s twin sister has also moved out of home – even though she’s studying not far from her family home.
Gordon said: “Holly has gone to uni in London, she’s even moved out and we live in London. I said, ‘Why are you moving out?’ ‘Peace. Quiet. I can get back at 4 in the morning without you, “What you doing at 4 in the morning.” ‘ ”
Tilly is now the only one of Gordon and Tana’s children living with them and they want to do all they can to get her to stay.
He quipped: “[She’s our] princess, we’re slowing down the studies and asking if she can leave home at 25, manipulation.”

Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne are standing up to cyberbullying

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne are standing up to cyberbullying.
Rimmel London and charity The Cybersmile Foundation are taking up arms against online trolls in a global digital campaign called ‘I Will Not Be Deleted’ that’s set to launch on November 12 – and the cosmetics firm’s ambassadors are supporting the initiative after being subjected to internet cruelty themselves.
Both Rita, 27, and Cara, 26, have suffered abuse online and the ‘Girls’ singer has admitted that it’s easy to “get into a black hole” while reading negative comments about yourself.
Speaking to WWD, she said: “I can’t imagine what it’s like for teenagers now.
“You get into a black hole. It’s hard not to read every single comment.
“Nowadays, in the entertainment industry with everyone whom we have lost this year over anxiety and bullying, you just don’t know what people are going through.”
She added that it was important that she and pal Cara – who she turned to for support while experiencing online abuse – made a show of friendship and unity against cyberbullying.
She said: “Back in 2012, our friendship was so public that we were known as RaRa. The tabloids saw two girls who were basically inseparable because we were physically going through being in the limelight together and also witnessing cyberbullying. I’m really happy that I had a friend I could lean on and talk to about it.”
Rimmel plans to create an online space where victims of cyberbullying can receive support and share their experiences and model turned actress Cara believes that this campaign will help victims of cyberbullying to feel comfortable to post what they want.
She said: “The comments are the things that should be deleted, not the posts. No one should have to change who they are because of someone making a comment.
“The people who make the comments are the ones who have to change.”

Chrissy Teigen says John Legend is an ‘aggressive cuddler’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen says John Legend is an “aggressive cuddler”.
The 32-year-old model revealed her husband is very affectionate and always wants to hug his wife, which often means she finds herself getting too warm and needing her own space.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We sleep naked, but you probably knew that. [But] maybe this is what will surprise you.
“He’s [a] very crazy, aggressive cuddler. Like, wants to hold very hard and I’m the one that’s like, I get very hot. I get very hot. So I’m crawling to the other side of the bed.”
Chrissy admitted the superstar couple – who have two-year-old daughter Luna and five-month-old son Miles together – have fights like any other pair, but she finds it “frustrating” that John knows exactly what to say to calm things down.
She said: “People see John as this perfect entity and all I want to do is be like, ‘Yeah, but he does this!’
“But he really is that fantastic, and amazing, and amazing for me because I’m a fireball. Like, I’m crazy and he knows how to deal with me when we fight.
“And he knows just the right thing to say to diffuse it. And I think that is the problem, it’s that it’s so frustrating because sometimes you just want to fight and sometimes you just want to yell at somebody and he’s never that person.”
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star also revealed that starting a family hasn’t shaken up her love life with the 39-year-old singer, even if it’s made things a bit more complicated.
She added: “Some people wonder, ‘Does [having kids] shake it up a lot?’ But it didn’t for us because it just became us against the kids, which I love too.”

Charles Venn elated to avoid bottom two

OHMYGOSSIP — Charles Venn and Karen Clifton felt a “huge sense of elation” to avoid the bottom two on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ last weekend.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actor and his professional partner scored 36 for their own choice of a street dance on the show a few days ago and their impressive performance meant they did not have to battle it out in the dance off for the first time in three weeks and the pair were overjoyed with their result.
Charles said: “Being in the bottom two for the last couple of weeks, there was a lot of pressure and expectation, we were doing a new category, new dance, it was a huge amount of pressure.
“We felt a wonderful sense of elation, it was amazing.”
Karen admitted her partner is “very emotional” and he’s found it particularly tough going into the first few days of rehearsals after the live shows.
She said: “He is very emotional and that’s a lot people don’t see, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays, they’re the hardest days of the week when he has to learn everything.
“It was hard for us to pick ourselves up. It’s a lovely thing not being in the bottom two but you have to pick yourself up and think positive.”
This year’s competition has been overshadowed by the kiss between Seann Walsh and his professional partner Katya Jones but Karen insists she and Charles have been able to ignore the gossip as they’re so focused on their own performance.
Asked about the scandal, she told Carol Vorderman on ‘Lorraine’: “We’ve been in the bottom two so that’s all we’ve been focusing on, I don’t even know who I am, all were thinking is how we’re going to deal with our dance, its hard to focus on anything else that’s going on.”
And the 45-year-old actor refuses to compare his performances to any of the other contestants as he’d rather just focus on himself.
Asked who he views as his biggest competition, he said: “This is a hackneyed saying but I feel like my biggest competition is myself, that’s not bragging but if you’re putting pressure on to measure up to that contestant or that one, its going to affect how I perform, its counterproductive, we want to just do the best we can.”

Danny added: “Dani and I had such a laugh filming ‘Gogglebox’ and hope we can raise bucket-loads of money for Stand Up To Cancer, as it’s such a wonderful cause.

Disney wants to reboot Pirates of the Caribbean

OHMYGOSSIP — Disney is reportedly seeking a reboot of its popular ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise.
The studio is exploring the possibility of launching a reboot of the Johnny Depp-fronted blockbuster after five films and grossing more than $4 billion since it started with 2003’s hugely successful first installment ‘The Curse of the Black Pearl’, which featured Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly alongside Depp.
Disney has reportedly met with ‘Deadpool’s writing duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to pen the script and are in “early talks” following their success with the superhero franchise and previous satirical comedies like ‘Zombieland’ and its sequel ‘6 Underground’.
Reese and Wernick will take over from Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio after they wrote the first four films, including ‘Dead Man’s Chest’, and Jeff Nathanson, who penned the fifth installment ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’.
The latest film in the franchise – which starred Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites – proved to be a disappointment after it only grossed $172 million in the US, as compared to the four previous films, which earned an average of $320 million per film.
Jerry Bruckheimer – one of the original producers of the money-spinning franchise – will stay on as a producer, assuming the ambition does become a reality.
However, it is yet to be confirmed whether Depp will reprise his iconic role as the drunken pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow.

Douglas Hodge cast as Alfred Pennyworth in Joker

OHMYGOSSIP — Douglas Hodge has been cast as Batman’s future butler Alfred Pennyworth in ‘Joker’.
The 58-year-old actor – who previously starred in ‘Penny Dreadful’ – has been cast in the role of Batman’s iconic butler in the Todd Phillips-directed project, which sees Joaquin Phoenix star as the Joker.
Dante Pereira-Olson – who played a young version of Joaquin’s character in ‘You Were Never Really Here’ – has also been cast in the movie, with the up-and-coming star set to play Bruce Wayne, ComicBook.com reports.
However, it’s unclear how big of a role Bruce will actually play in the upcoming movie.
Other big-name stars set to appear in ‘Joker’ include Robert De Niro and Zazie Beetz.
Meanwhile, Joaquin previously explained that the ‘Joker’ movie will be unlike many earlier comic-book films.
The Hollywood star said that the eagerly awaited effort won’t seamlessly fit into a particular genre.
He revealed: “I wouldn’t quite classify this as like any genre.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a superhero movie, or a studio movie or a … It feels unique, and I think more then anything, and probably the most important thing, is Todd seems very passionate about it and very giving, and so that’s exciting.
“I think, underneath the excitement of these films, and the size of them, there are these incredible characters that are dealing with real life struggles.
“And sometimes that is uncovered and exposed, and sometimes it isn’t, and so I always felt, like, there were characters in comics that were really interesting and deserve the opportunity to be kind of studied. And so I think that’s what Todd sees appealing about this idea.”

She said: “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Iskra Lawrence has urged her fans not to compare themselves to others online.

She wrote: “I felt like a mess, and felt like I looked a mess and my emotions were shook after something that happened yesterday and a combination of other personal issues that I think lead to this emotional breakdown.
“I try and commit to showing you ALL the realness, even though I do feel more comfortable posting the “best bits” which there is nothing wrong with but I’m hoping this post can make at least one person feel better with not being OK.
“I took this pic and wanted to post it because Instagram can be completely unrelatable, overwhelming, triggering and even damaging for our mental health.

The 28-year-old model went on to advise her fans on the importance of self-care and surrounding yourself with close friends and family.

Posthumous Avicii album being discussed by label and parents

OHMYGOSSIP — A posthumous Avicii album may be released using unheard music from the late DJ.
The star – who tragically passed away in April, aged 28 – is said to have had “several songs” which hadn’t been unveiled before his death, and his friend Aloe Blacc has confirmed there are discussions about letting fans hear them.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “There are several songs left. I believe the record label is working with his parents and the estate to find a way to bring these unreleased songs to the public.
“But for me there’s no rush – I would leave that with his parents.”
While Nile Rogers recently revealed he also has “at least” 10 unreleased songs he recorded with Avicii – whose real name is Tim Bergling – and praised the DJ’s knack for creating a hit song.
He previously said: “Between Avicii and me, there’s at least ten, at least. We laughed all the time. I used to say, ‘You put Tim and I in a room and we can do the entire Top 20 in, like, two or three weeks.’ ”
Now, it appears Aloe was also in the studio at the time as he revealed he was working with them both on the sessions.
He added: “I think I did a couple of songs in the session with Nile as well.”
Aloe – who will release his own festive album ‘Christmas Funk’ next month ahead of a another LP in 2019 – took time to praise his friend’s huge hit ‘Wake Me Up!’, which topped the charts in 22 countries.
He said: “It’s still a song of celebrations and nostalgia, and hope for the future. I think the hope for the future part is even stronger.
“Avicii’s death has been a call to a lot of young folks for people to take better care of themselves and surround themselves with people who are looking out for their best interests.”

Holly Willoughby says she loves great-fitting trousers

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby says “great fitting black trousers” have been a “game-changer” for her wardrobe.
The 37-year-old ‘This Morning’ host – who will be joining Declan Donnelly to front ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ later this year – has revealed that “dresses” were her go-to item in her wardrobe until her stylist Angie Smith presented her with the perfect pair and now they are a staple.
Speaking to Glamour UK, Holly said: “I could never wear trousers; I’d always stick to dresses but then one day, Angie turned up at my house with a single pair of black trousers and they were a game-changer. There is no doubt that a great fitting pair of trousers can make you feel good about yourself.”
However, Holly believes that confidence in your look is about more than just what you’re wearing, it needs to come from inside yourself.
She added: “Styling and clothing only take you so far. It’s the smoke and mirrors. Everything needs to be in place beneath that. You’ve got to have good people around you, you’ve got to feel good about yourself.”
The blonde beauty also revealed that when she was younger she would go to bed in make-up and “still look radiant”, however, now she takes better care of her skin and swears by “sun cream” to maintain her glowing complexion.
Holly added: “I’m not brilliant with any of this but I am starting to look after my skin now because I feel like I’m getting older and I have to just grow up.
“By that I mean I have started taking my makeup off at night but for years I didn’t. I thought I was invincible and that I could go out at night and still look radiant and then you get older and realise that’s probably not the case. For me, drinking lots of water and getting a good night’s sleep, plus a good sun cream (I love Heliocare SPF), is more important than a moisturiser.”
As she’s gotten older, Holly – who has children Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four, with husband Dan Baldwin – takes more time for herself to keep her “sanity” and makes sure it involves a relaxing bath with lots of “candles”.
Holly said: “Living life and being unapologetic and giving back time to yourself is my idea of self-care. Life is a little stressful so it’s nice to just have those moment for yourself and so you should! It’s really important to do that and not feel guilty about it for your sanity.
“My perfect night in involves a glass of wine in the bath, lighting candles, listening to desert island discs, then putting on a big fluffy robe, having another glass of wine and watching Killing Eve in bed.”

Kim Kardashian West ‘let go’ of independence marrying Kanye

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West feels “not-so-independent” since marrying Kanye West.
The 38-year-old reality star has opened up about how her life has changed since tying the knot with the 41-year-old controversial rapper – with whom she has North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, nine months – four years ago.
Appearing on ‘The Alec Baldwin Show’, she admitted: “I think being with a man like Kanye, you have to learn how to be a little bit not-so-independent.
“I’ve always been so independent and working, and [had a] schedule, and when you get married and have a husband that has their career and then have kids, your independence … you have to let it go.
“I had to learn that being with a man like Kanye.”
The ‘All Day’ hitmaker has strong political views – evident in his lyrics – and is close friends with US President Donald Trump.
Kim says she lets her other half have the freedom to be himself and has an “open mind” when it comes to his views.
She said: “I let [Kanye] be who he wants to be. I let him have his own views and opinions, even if they’re different than mine.
“I think it’s just having an open mind. I love to let my husband be who he is.
“We definitely have conversations if I don’t understand something in private and talk about that.”
Kanye recently ranted about “mind control” on Twitter after reactivating his account.
The outspoken rap star ended his self-imposed exile from the micro-blogging website by posting a series of behind-the-scenes videos in Uganda, where he’s been recording his new album, and then launching into a rant about the influence of social media on the brain.
In one of the videos, Kanye – who described himself as having a Mensa-level IQ – said “You know, when people try to influence you through social media and try to tell you what to do or if you post something that’s positive on Instagram and it gets taken down if it’s not part of a bigger agenda, you know, that’s like mind control.
“That’s the echo chamber. That’s trying to control you based off of incentivising you and based off of you getting enough likes, and that’s the poison that’s happening with social media.”
The rant came shortly after he claimed that wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap made him feel like “Superman”.
He told Trump during their meeting: “I love Hillary, I love everyone, right, but the campaign ‘I’m With Her’ just didn’t make me feel, as a guy that didn’t get to see my dad all the time, like a guy that could play catch with his son.
“It was something about when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman. You made a Superman. That’s my favourite superhero. You made a Superman cape for me.”

John Middleton has stopped watching Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — John Middleton stopped watching ‘Emmerdale’ as soon as his character was killed off to “shut the door” on that chapter of his career.
The 65-year-old actor bowed out of the ITV soap last year after more than 20 years on the show when his character Ashley Thomas died following a battle with dementia, and he admits he needed to stop watching the programme to “get [his] head round” the fact he had departed the series.
He said: “I don’t watch it I’m afraid. It’s not because I don’t think its good, I think it’s absolutely terrific and everyone else thinks that as much as me.
“But I had to shut the door on that and put it behind me and move onto the next thing.
“It needed to be as abrupt as that, really.
“Just for my own peace of mind, getting my head round the fact that this is a new start to my career and a very exciting one.”
While John no longer sees the ‘Emmerdale’ characters on screen, he meets up with a number of his former co-stars, and is constantly reminded about Ashley’s dementia storyline on a daily basis by fans.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I say I’ve stopped watching the show, but still see old friends.
“Hardly a day goes by when someone doesn’t stop me in the street and say, ‘Thank you so much for telling my story,’ and then they tell me theirs.
“It’s the biggest health concern we have, the story itself had extraordinary relevance.”

Rak-Su have vowed to stay sober while touring

OHMYGOSSIP — Rak-Su have vowed to stay sober during their tour.
The boy band – made up of Myles Stephenson, Mustafa Rahimtulla, Ashley Fongho, and Jamaal Shurland – have insisted that they won’t be drinking as they’ve learned from other musician’s mistakes – and want to build up their career after winning ‘The X Factor’ rather than go out and party.
Speaking to the Daily Star’s Wired column, Myles said: “One thing that we have learned and that the boys have personally taught me is that hard work does pay off.
“Before the ‘X Factor’ shows we were having like two hours of sleep a night tops. With previous acts, I can’t vouch for how hard they’ve worked, but we will continue to try our hardest.”
Ashley explained the the group understand the effort it will take to build a long-lasting career, and said they can save the celebrating until they’re “done”.
He added: “We are just aware we have a lot of work to do to build our careers for the rest of our lives, once that’s done then we can party and celebrate.”
The ‘I’m Feeling You’ hitmakers are conscious of riding off others’ success – and despite having been offered the chance to work with girl band Little Mix they want to avoid collaborations until they have developed their career further.
Ashley said: “We love the Little Mix girls and know if we called them they’d probably say yes but we want to be at the right level of success so we feel we deserve it.
“So we feel it’s mutual rather than them doing us a favour.”
The group have also denied rumours that they will be supporting fellow ‘X Factor’ alumni Olly Murs on his tour next year.
He joked: “We’ve got to keep him and Myles away from each other. I think they’ll end up wreaking havoc.”
