OHMYGOSSIP — Katharine McPhee had no idea who her now-fiancé David Foster was when they first met.
The 34-year-old actress got engaged to the record producer, 68, at the beginning of last month following less than a year of dating, but she has admitted she was totally unaware that he was so successful in the music industry when he saw her audition for ‘American Idol’, in which he was a guest judge, back in 2006.
Speaking on the ‘Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino’ podcast, she said: “I grew up listening to Céline Dion and I love Andrea Bocelli — I knew ‘The Prayer’ because I’d sung it for something and my mom made me learn the Italian.
“I remember calling [my mom] and I was like: ‘You’re never going to believe, the guest mentors this week is Andrea Bocelli and there’s this producer that I don’t know but he’s supposed to be really amazing. His name is David Foster.’
“My mom was like, ‘Katharine, you know who David Foster is. You’ve listened to every artist that he’s ever created.’ And I was like, ‘Ohh… okay.’ ”
Katharine – who was praised by David at the time – came runner up on the show to Taylor Hicks and she and the Canadian musician went on to work together.
The blonde beauty did a few live performances with David, including his 2008 PBS tribute concert ‘Hit Man: David Foster & Friends’.
Speaking of their bond, she said: “We met on that show and then I did a lot of charity events with him. We’ve been friends for a long time. And.. yeah…”
At the end of last year, Katharine revealed she had been friends with David – who is the ex-husband of reality television star Yolanda Hadid – for years before their relationship became romantic.
She shared: “We’re very close friends, and we’ve been friends for a long time. I’m really, really fond of him, and I think he’s an incredible person. I’ve known him since I was 21 years old, you know? He produced my first single. So he’s been really good to me. People can say whatever they want.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ronan Keating’s wife was rushed to hospital last week after their son stabbed her in the eye with a fork.
The 41-year-old singer spent the early hours of the morning at a medical centre in Singapore with his spouse Storm Keating after their toddler Cooper, 15, punched a hole in her face with the sharp utensil.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 36-year-old designer uploaded a photograph of the wound just above her eye, which needed to be stitched up, and wrote: “Where you find yourself at 2am after your toddler sneaks a fork off the table during dinner & you couldn’t get it back quick enough #a&e #emergency #hospital #singapore #stitches #rathermethanhim #whatabore #kids #motherhood #boyzoneasiatour18 #itsnotallglamourous (sic)”
Storm wasn’t the only member of Ronan’s family to spend time in surgery this year as his 12-year-old daughter Ali, whom he has with Yvonne Connolly, spent “hours” on the operating table back in May after she fell off her new horse while show jumping and broke a number of bones.
Yvonne said at the time: “Last weekend Ali had her first show on her new pony, Red. After a cruel turn of events Ali ended up in hospital on Tuesday after a fall from him. (Not his fault) Just home today. She’s now out of the saddle for 8-10 weeks and missing lots of competitions we had coming up. To say she is devastated is an understatement. After hours of surgery to repair broken bones she hopes to come back stronger. #bionicwoman #brave #red @_alikeating_ (sic)”
Ronan – who also has Missy, 17, and Jack, 19, with Yvonne – split from his wife in 2015 and later married Storm – and he feels like they were always “meant to be together.”
He said: “It feels like we were always meant to be together.”
Whilst Storm added: “It makes me very proud when I refer to ‘my husband’. And for the kids, too. I’m sure it gives them more security knowing that we’re officially a family now and I’m not someone who may one day walk out of their lives. If we lost everything tomorrow and the two of us ended up living in a shack on the beach in the middle of nowhere, then I would still be the happiest woman in the world. You can face everything in life when you know you’ve already got everything you need in just one person.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses have axed glitter to help protect the environment.
The BBC One Latin and ballroom show’s producers have decided against using the colourful, reflective particles – which jazz-up contestants’ dancefloor looks on the programme – for the upcoming series to protect sealife, because the particles can be washed out to sea.
An insider said: “Glitter and sparkle are key things about ‘Strictly’.
“For many fans the outfits and looks are almost as important as the dances.”
Show bosses are said to be on the hunt for a more eco-friendly way of ensuring the contestants retain a ‘Strictly’ sparkle on the dancefloor.
The insider added to The Sun newspaper: “It means the make-up and costume teams are working harder than ever to find something to comply with new rules but still give the celebs a showbiz finishing touch.”
As well as the 150 litres of liquid glitter used on the show since its 2004 launch, ‘Strictly’ has also become known for using sequins to bring the contestants’ costumes to life.
However, experts believe show bosses may be forced to axe the disk-shaped beads from future shows, too, to protect the environment.
‘Strictly’ contestant Susannah Constantine has admitted she contemplated hiring a professional dance tutor to help her get the upper hand ahead of the show’s tough rehearsals.
She said: “I thought about hiring professional help – a big ‘Strictly’ No-No. My husband even found me a local professional dance tutor, the son of his bike mechanic, but I didn’t want to get done for cheating.
“In hindsight, I regret it.”
Lee Ryan, Chucky Venn, Seann Walsh, Kate Silverton, Ashley Roberts, Stacey Dooley, Dr Ranj Singh, Graeme Swann, Vick Hope, Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules Lauren Steadman, and Joe Sugg have also signed up for the series, which starts next month.

OHMYGOSSIP — Vicky Pattison’s ‘Ex On The Beach: Body SOS’ has reportedly been axed.
The bootcamp weight loss show – which saw 16 contestants ditch their kebabs in favour of abs in the hope of being beach body ready for summer – has reportedly been dumped by MTV after just one series because it failed to pull in viewers.
Charlie King – who was a trainer on the series – told The Sun newspaper: “I really enjoyed doing that show. I’m sad that it didn’t come back for a second series, to be honest. The concept was really good. Personally, I really enjoyed helping the individuals who had low self-esteem, didn’t really understand exercise, diet and lifestyle choices. For me it was a great opportunity, too. People have followed my journey in the past few years since I was on ‘TOWIE’ — and how I’ve transformed myself and understood my mental health, as well as my physical wellbeing. So I felt like I was the perfect candidate to be helping others in that show. I was really proud of it but, unfortunately, we didn’t come back this year for some reason.”
The lack of viewers may have had something to do with the fact that barely any of the contestants lost any weight – despite being put on a strict diet and fitness programme – after a month of hard work at the retreat.
One unhappy contestant was very disappointed that she hadn’t lost any weight, while another star said he just went from “noodle arm to tagliatelle.”
However, although it’s believed MTV have pulled the plug on the programme, there’s still room for it to make a return at a later date.
A source close to Vicky explained to the publication: “The show is still being considered by MTV and it may well still make a return.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alec Baldwin is set to star in ‘Joker’.
The 60-year-old actor is said to be in line to portray Thomas Wayne, the physician and philanthropist father of Bruce Wayne/ Batman, who will be played by Joaquin Phoenix in the hotly-anticipated movie.
According to Deadline, Baldwin’s role is yet to have been announced by Warner Bros., but he is expected to take on the part of Thomas, who, along with his wife, is shot outside the theatre, a tragic event which Bruce witnesses, igniting his path to becoming a vigilante.
Wayne’s killer was initially hitman Joe Chill in the early ‘Batman’ comics, but in the superhero’s 1989 movie the Joker was the aggressor.
Filming is due to start on September 10 and Todd Phillips is to direct the motion picture, which will also star Robert De Niro, Marc Maron and Frances Conroy.
Phoenix recently admitted his portrayal of the Joker would be “unique”.
He said: “I wouldn’t quite classify this as like any genre. I wouldn’t say it’s a superhero movie, or a studio movie or a … It feels unique, and I think more then anything, and probably the most important thing, is Todd seems very passionate about it and very giving, and so that’s exciting.
“I think, underneath the excitement of these films, and the size of them, there are these incredible characters that are dealing with real life struggles. And sometimes that is uncovered and exposed, and sometimes it isn’t, and so I always felt, like, there were characters in comics that were really interesting and deserve the opportunity to be kind of studied.
“And so I think that’s what Todd sees appealing about this idea.”
‘Joker’ is scheduled for release on October 4, 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tate Taylor will direct Jessica Chastain’s new movie ‘Eve’.
The future of the blockbuster was thrown up in the air earlier this year when bosses were forced to find a new filmmaker following Matthew Newton’s decision to step down over concerns about his abusive past but, although it’s taken a while to get to the production stage, it looks like things are finally coming together as the 49-year-old film director has agreed to lead the flick, according to Empire.
This isn’t the first time Taylor and Chastain, 41, have worked together on a big film as he previously directed her in ‘The Help’ back in 2011.
However, Jessica was no doubt devastated when Newton – who also penned the script – was pulled from the film as she was looking forward to working with him.
She said at the time: “Matthew is wonderfully adept at crafting complex and relatable characters. We’ve been fans of his work and are so thrilled to be partnering with him and Voltage on ‘Eve’.”
Official plot details are still a closely-guarded secret, but according to Collider, Eve is a female assassin who is being hunted by her former employers.
It’s not yet known whether bosses will go ahead and use Newton’s script.
Meanwhile, Jessica has recently lashed out at Hollywood’s gender pay gap.
The actress has also insisted she “isn’t afraid” to speak out against inequality.
She explained: “It’s important to speak out and amplify our imbalance in the moviemaking industry. I have experienced no backlash from anyone since making my views public.
“I certainly wasn’t afraid to do it. Glad I did it. It’s taken a long time to get this far, and I’m out front for those who cannot speak out. We must turn this around.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Slayer have extended their last-ever tour until 2019.
The thrash metal band have added one extra gig for next year, France’s Hellfest Open Air festival on June 23, 2019, but admitted there will are “plenty more” shows planned after they were “blown away” by demand for their ‘Final World Tour’.
Guitarist Kerry King – who makes up the ‘Raining Blood’ hitmakers alongside Tom Araya, Paul Bostaph and Gary Holt – said in a statement: “We always knew this tour would take us into 2019. We’ve been blown away by the response we’ve been getting here in North America.
“We’ve heard about fans who have driven five, six hours, or flown in from other cities or countries to see us, so we want to assure our fans that we’ll be on the road through 2019 and will get to as many places around the world as possible to make it easier for everyone to come and see us one last time.
“There will be more – plenty more. 2019 is 12 months long and the world is a big place.”
Bassist Tom has thanked the group’s “loyal and dedicated” fans for their support, and urged them to keep their “eyes and ears open” for the announcement of further tour dates.
He said: “I just want to take the time out to say thank you to all our fans who have made this first part of this tour phenomenal.
“You really are loyal and dedicated fans and we appreciate that so much from you. We still have quite a few places to play, so next year, keep your eyes and ears open so you can catch us live one last and final time. Again, thank you!”
In January, Slayer announced they will quit touring when they finish their next run of gigs, and in May they announced their final UK and European shows, which will kick off at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 1, before they head to London on November 3.

OHMYGOSSIP — Fall Out Boy want to work with Migos again.
The pop punk band – comprised of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman – previously collaborated with the hip-hop trio in 2015 on ‘Make America Psycho Again’ – the remix album of their original LP ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ – and have admitted they’d like to team up again.
Speaking to NME magazine, Pete Wentz said: “I think [Migos] were really big in the hip-hop community, but they weren’t really super-well known yet. They’re actually on the ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ remix album – so check it out. Their verse is really cool on it. Of course [we’d work with them again].”
However, fans may have to wait a little while for that collaboration as Fall Out Boy have only just released a new EP called ‘Lake Effect Kid’.
The three- track mini album features the songs ‘City In a Garden’, ‘Super Fade’ and the titular track.
The latter is a new version of a demo from 2008’s ‘CitizensFOB Mixtape: Welcome to the New Administration’.
The ‘Uma Thurman’ hitmakers have described the EP as their “love letter” to their home city of Chicago, Illinois.
They tweeted alongside the artwork: “This is our love letter to Chicago. Lake Effect Kid EP out now https://fanlink.to/lakeeffectkidep (sic)”
Meanwhile, the band have unveiled The MANIA Experience, which retells the story of their latest record, ‘MANIA’, through exciting visuals created by various artists spread over different rooms, soundtracked to unheard remixes of the album tracks, as well as covers, exclusive merchandise and much more.

OHMYGOSSIP — Asan N’Jie has joined ‘Emmerdale’.
The ‘Mount Pleasant’ actor – who played Finn in the Sky drama series – will portray Ellis, who first rocks up in the Dales as a potential love interest for Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins), but will later be revealed as the son of Hotten headteacher Jessie Grant (Sandra Marvin).
The pair will arrange to go on a date but things turn nasty when he begins flirting with some other girls in the Woolpack and hero Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) steps in to defend her.
Pub chef Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) steps in to diffuse the brawl, but the hapless cook gets injured in the process.
He later explains the situation to his girlfriend Jessie, who is left shocked when Ellis turns up.
Marlon offers Ellis his spare room after he reveals he has quit university, but he and Jessie are hiding a big secret which she is yet to let Marlon in on.
In March, Sandra hinted at such a storyline, admitting her alter-ego’s family was “yet to be discovered”.
She said: “I think her family history is yet to be discovered, let’s say.
“I mean she’s obviously got a son that she talks about a lot and she’s looking for somewhere to live nearer to the village.
“Ideally for somewhere her son can visit or something like that, so whether he’s someone that comes in the future, I don’t know.
“In fact, I don’t know if I can say much more without giving stuff away, really, but yeah.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Allen is reportedly planning to take a break from making movies.
The 82-year-old film director has been churning out new films at least once a year but he’s reportedly decided to take some downtime once he’s finished his promotional work for his 48th feature flick ‘A Rainy Day in New York’.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Woody loves working. He never takes a vacation. But he will be taking time off this year.”
The filmmaker came under fire earlier this year when he claimed he should be the “poster boy” for the #MeToo movement – a movement spearheaded by his son Ronan Farrow launched to end sexual harassment and assault in the work place – because no actress has ever accused him of being inappropriate on set.
He said: “I’m a big advocate of the #MeToo movement. I feel when they find people who harass innocent women and men, it’s a good thing that they’re exposing them. But you know I – I should be the poster boy for the #MeToo movement, because I have worked in movies for 50 years.
“I’ve worked with hundreds of actresses and not a single one – big ones, famous ones, ones starting out – has ever ever suggested any kind of impropriety at all. I’ve always had a wonderful record with them.”
However, Woody was accused by his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, in 1992 of molesting her when she was just seven years old.
Law enforcement investigated the alleged incident at the time, but a prosecutor declined pressing charges, and in the wake of the creation of the #MeToo movement, Dylan, now 32, has repeated her accusations numerous times.
Woody has repeatedly denied her allegations.

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Lauer is reportedly planning to make a TV comeback.
The 60-year-old presenter had his contract with NBC terminated in November last year amid allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour towards a colleague, but Matt is telling supporters that he’ll be back on TV.
A source, who spotted the TV star at Donohue’s Steak House in New York, said: “A group of older ladies came over to Lauer, saying, ‘We miss you!'”
The insider told the New York Post newspaper that Matt told the fans: “I’ve been busy being a dad. But don’t worry, I’ll be back on TV.”
Earlier this month, meanwhile, a source claimed that Matt has been “bending over backwards” to give Annette Roque everything she wants in their divorce settlement.
The former ‘Today’ show host – who has kids Jack, 17, Romy, 14, and Thijs, 11, with Annette – is now said to be getting along amicably with his ex-wife as they move towards finalising their divorce.
The insider explained: “Things really have settled down. Matt and Annette are getting on and they’re both spending time with their kids. They hope to settle the divorce very soon.”
In April, Matt claimed he’d tried to “protect” his family from “embarrassment” by staying silent about allegations of sexual misconduct.
The presenter admitted he had “acted inappropriately”, but he also insisted that many of the allegations made against him are “absolutely false”.
He said in a statement: “I have made no public comments on the many false stories from anonymous or biased sources that have been reported about me over these past several months. I remained silent in an attempt to protect my family from further embarrassment and to restore a small degree of the privacy they have lost.
“But defending my family now requires me to speak up. I fully acknowledge that I acted inappropriately as a husband, father and principal at NBC. However I want to make it perfectly clear that any allegations or reports of coercive, aggressive or abusive actions on my part, at any time, are absolutely false.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry has denied allegations that Dr. Luke raped her.
The 33-year-old singer’s testimony in Dr. Luke and Kesha’s ongoing court case- in which Kesha is being sued for defamation by the producer after she accused him of sexually assaulting her and giving her drugs against her will – was unsealed on Monday (27.08.18) and Katy’s denial was revealed.
Her testimony was originally given after a text message exchange between Lady Gaga and Kesha in February 2016 was uncovered, which alleged that producer Dr. Luke had raped Katy.
Speaking after the deposition was unsealed, Dr. Luke’s legal team told PEOPLE: “The false narrative Kesha created about being raped became widely accepted, damaging Dr. Luke’s reputation irreparably. Compounding this malicious act, in 2016, Kesha told Lady Gaga that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry, which is outrageous and untrue.
“Katy Perry testified under oath in this case that Dr. Luke never raped her. Regardless, Kesha refused to apologise. Instead, she issued a press release which again irresponsibly suggested that Katy Perry was actually raped by Dr. Luke. It seems that Kesha wanted to perpetuate the falsehood that Dr. Luke raped Katy Perry.”
However, Kesha, 31, has denied making the allegations.
Her team said: “With regard to Dr. Luke’s claim that Kesha defamed him by falsely stating he also assaulted Katy Perry, Kesha has never claimed to have any independent knowledge of any alleged assault of Katy Perry (which Ms. Perry has denied in a later deposition).
“But, to be clear, Dr. Luke is suing Kesha based on a private, one-on-one text message that Kesha sent Lady Gaga in 2016, shortly after Interscope CEO John Janick told Kesha and Lady Gaga he’d heard a rumour that Dr. Luke had also abused Katy Perry. Mr. Janick’s statement was discussed privately between the two friends and would never have become public, except that Dr. Luke decided to publish it to millions of people in his 2017 complaint against Kesha. This defamation claim, based on a private text message which was based on the statement of a third party, is also frivolous.”
Lady Gaga confirmed the conversation with Janick in her deposition.
She said: “He said he had heard a rumour. … I don’t recall exactly the way he said it. I just recall that it was brought up. … He said something like I heard [Dr. Luke] raped Katy [Perry], too.”
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson, 36, blasted Dr. Luke, 44, in her own deposition, saying: “In general, I don’t know anyone that likes him… People have said he is sleazy. People have said he is belittling, the same kind of things that I say. He is very, I mean, just to be blunt, he can be kind of a bully and demeaning. I don’t like him as a person.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively says she’s become less enthusiastic about her birthday as she’s become older.
The Hollywood actress – who is married to ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds – celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday (25.08.18), but speaking ahead of her big day, Blake admitted she’s become less enthusiastic about the annual celebration than she used to be.
The blonde beauty – who has kids James, three, and 22-month-old Ines with Ryan – told E! News: “I feel like the older you get the more it just kind of is less of a thing.”
Despite this, Blake still intended to indulge herself with some of her favourite foods.
Asked about he plans for the big day, she shared: “I’ll probably eat … I really like to eat, there’s a place on the Lower East Side called Il Laboratorio del Gelato, and they secretly make bon bons.”
Meanwhile, Blake recently clapped back at an online troll who told her to sack her stylist.
The former ‘Gossip Girl’ star hilariously responded to the Instagram user who commented on a photograph of the actress in a bold Roland Mouret suit.
The person wrote: “I say this with so much love and respect for you babe, please hire a stylist or fire the one you’re currently with (sic).”
Blake – who is her own stylist – fired back: “Thank you for the tips, sir. Alas, I’ve tried to fire @blakelively so many times. But that b***h just keeps coming back. She won’t leave me alone. (sic)”
Blake previously revealed she doesn’t use a stylist because she has a ”big ego” and relishes the creative freedom.
Asked why she doesn’t have a stylist, she said: ”Probably because I have control issues and a big ego – that’s probably the honest answer.
”I just like it. I love design and I love fashion and it’s a way to be creative. In my job I get to be creative, but it’s over a period of time and so many other people are involved, whereas this is a beginning, middle and end, and I get to be creative and there’s an end date in the near future.”

OHMYGOSSIP — David Foster’s daughter Sara thinks his soon-to-be-wife Katherine McPhee will be a “great addition” to the family.
The 68-year-old Canadian musician – who was previously married to Yolanda Hadid until 2017 – is set to tie the knot with the 34-year-old beauty, who is half his age, and the former ‘90201’ has heaped praise on the ‘Shark Night’ actress.
The 37-year-old beauty said: “She’s great. She’s a great addition”
David has seven children from previous relationships, but Sara hasn’t ruled out the possibility of the couple giving her another step-sibling.
She said: “You know I’ve learned to not rule anything out.
“I think anything is possible at this point. Who knows?”
Sara has been getting on well with Katherine – who is just three years younger than her – and they’ve even been for beauty treatments together.
She recalled: “She’s wonderful. The other day she was like, ‘I got you a facial,’ and like that’s so cool.”
The record producer has been married four times before, and the former fashion model says her father is a “real commitment” guy.
She said: “My dad loves love and my dad loves commitment.
“My dad’s always been married. He’s never been single really.
“He’s a real commitment, marriage kind of guy and I’m happy for him.”
David’s daughter Amy, 45, previously said she thinks he and Katharine are “perfect for each other”.
She said: “I know that some people have been hating on that relationship. All I can tell you is it absolutely works when you see them together. It’s love. The haters [can] shut the f**k up because they are perfect for each other. I’m so close with [McPhee]. She’s amazing and funny, fun, smart, elegant, timeless, beautiful, talented. I can’t say enough about her.”
Whilst the family have welcome the news with open arms, David and his fiancée faced critics after announcing their engagement last month.
Taking to Twitter shortly after the news broke, Katherine wrote: “y’all should be worrying more about registering to vote and midterm elections than who’s marrying me. thank you for coming to my TED talk. (sic)”
A source previously said the couple have had a “special bond” from the start.
They said: “From the very beginning, he and Katharine had a special bond. David took a lot of time off work to spend with Katharine. He is dedicated to his work, but he didn’t want to miss out on any time with Katharine, so it was worth it for him. David’s children are what is most important to him in his life, so the approval of his children was key to making this a lifetime choice. Katharine became friends with his kids and they are thrilled she is part of his life. She immediately hit it off with his children, and that is what sealed the deal for him. Their engagement was a beautiful thing. Everyone is thrilled for them and can’t wait to celebrate.”

The cobbles legend – played by Charlie Lawson – will be back on our screens on September 7 when he makes a surprise appearance at his son Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) stag do, but his boy bolts from the Rovers Return, angry at the no-nonsense Irishman for turning up.
However, Steve is not the only person enraged upon setting eyes on Jim as Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) lunges at him, determined to get back at Jim after he poisoned him with bad booze while they were in prison together.
But Jim begs Peter for a chance to explain himself, and his wife Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) brings Jim up to speed on Steve’s latest relationship failures and successes after he split from Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) and got engaged to Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), once again.
Liz then vows to act as a mediator by telling her hubby she will speak to Steve for him to help him come round.
Jim was last seen on the cobbles in 2014 when he illegally sold Peter alcohol in prison, and his sentence – originally for the robbery – was extended after he used a mobile phone to phone Liz.
He was seen threatening Steve with revenge after his son grassed him up to the police when he realised his father was trying to use him to get back with his mother, hence Steve’s annoyance at seeing his father at his stag.
While the character’s comeback storyline is yet to have been confirmed, he is expected to return to Weatherfield with a muscle-wasting condition, nearly two years after he told son Steve he could have genetic disorder myotonic dystrophy.
In May, former series producer Kate Oates said: “We played a story 18 months [ago] where it seemed like Steve might have inherited a genetic disease from his dad, but no one went to see Jim to ask if he was OK.
“We have a great story to play with that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins wants to conquer Bollywood.
The 37-year-old reality TV star has her sights set on the film industry in India and believes she will succeed because she is a triple threat.
She told the Daily Star: “I really fancy going to India. I love the food and the outfits are always full of jewels.
“I would love to do Bollywood. I can sing, dance and design all the costumes.”
And the star – who found fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – hit back at her diva reputation.
She said: “I think it’s hilarious. I’m just a girl who knows what I want.
“And I think it’s just a bit of pantomime. When I’m with my family, at home, washing the dishes after a dinner, they’d see I’m definitely not a diva.”
Meanwhile, Gemma’s on/off boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent is set to miss the start of the new series of ‘TOWIE’ because he has entered rehab for the third time and Gemma insists she is supporting him in any way she can.
‘Diva Espana’ star Gemma said: “Arg is receiving help and as long as he’s doing well, that’s great for him and for us and I’m just supporting him on his journey. He’s doing all that he needs to be doing to get back on track.”
Gemma previously revealed she is sure she’ll tie the knot with Arg one day but doesn’t mind if it’s marriage or children that comes first.
She added: “I’m not worried about what comes first, what’s meant to be won’t pass you by. I’ve got a really good life. I’m lucky, so I don’t feel that it won’t happen for me – it’ll just happen when the time is right.”
Before their most recent break-up, the pair had even been discussing baby names.
Asked if she had any baby names in mind, she said: “Yeah – I like the name Angel or Mimi. Arg is really into old-fashioned names, and I think he wants a boy – obviously I want a girl. It’ll just happen when it happens. Who knows?”
