Roger Daltrey encourages ear plug use at gigs

OHMYGOSSIP — Roger Daltrey has encouraged fans to wear earplugs to concerts – to avoid going deaf like him.
The Who frontman – whose group entered the Guinness Book of Records for being the loudest band in the world following a barnstorming gig in 1976 – insists the “music sounds just as good” if people insert cotton wool into their ears when they attend shows.
He said: “I warn everybody now as people don’t need to put themselves through it.
“The music sounds just as good if you just put a bit of cotton wool in your ears.
“I can’t sit in front of most rock bands. When I come to the Royal Albert Hall every year for the shows I put on, I’ve always got earplugs in – I can’t take the volume and I’m deaf.”
The 74-year-old rocker also insisted people should not feel “embarrassed” by wearing hearing aids.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “There should be no embarrassment in wearing hearing aids.
“There’s still reluctance by men to get their hearing tested. When they get their hearing back, they’re amazed by how much they’d lost.
“If you take care of your hearing you will do your brain a favour.”
Roger revealed in March he was “very deaf” and had taken to lip-reading nowadays.
He said: “The trouble with these ear things that I wear is that I am very, very deaf.
“If only we had known when we were young … we are lip-reading.”
As well as his hearing problems, Roger recently admitted he nearly had to shelve a solo record after becoming “very ill with meningitis”.
He said: “Performing solo has always been a hobby, but this one I have taken seriously.
“Part way through creating it I became disillusioned. I was very ill with meningitis and when I recovered and went back to recording I thought it was rubbish and tried to buy it back from the record company to shelve it.
“Pete (Townshend) took a look and what he did with the songs blew me away.”
The Who’s gig at The Valley football stadium in Charlton, south-east London, in May 1976 was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s loudest concert at over 120 decibels.

Hardeep Singh Kohli and Sally Morgan up for CBB eviction

OHMYGOSSIP — Hardeep Singh Kohli and Sally Morgan face ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ eviction.
The former ‘One Show’ presenter and the psychic Sally Morgan were nominated by their fellow housemates on Wednesday night’s (05.09.18) show, after contestants were asked to choose just one person to axe who would then automatically face the public vote.
Five of Hardeep’s six housemates chose him for the chop, while he and Nick Leeson opted for Sally.
In the Diary Room, Dan Osborne nominated Hardeep for making “a lot of little digs” at people including Gabby Allen, who was left in tears on last night’s show after Hardeep said he was looking forward to finding out “who you really are” outside the house.
During the nominations, former ‘Love Island’ star Gabby put up Hardeep for a comment he made the previous night about her outfit, admitting it made her “uncomfortable”.
Sally blasted Hardeep for “bad language” when making her nomination, but he branded her “rude” when he put her up for eviction.
The next eviction will be on Friday (07.09.18), with the final set to take place just three days later on Monday (10.09.18).
Hardeep has survived the last four evictions which has seen him shorten up in the betting to third favourite, at just 12/1 with some bookies.
Ryan Thomas is the overwhelming odds-odd favourite to win the show, with the former ‘Coronation Street’ actor as short as 1/6 with Betfair and Paddy Power.
It comes after former housemate Roxanne Pallett called him a “woman beater” and accused him of “punching” her, only for the ex-‘Emmerdale’ star to leave the house early and then back-track on her comments.
She has since said she “got it wrong”, and apologised to Ryan’s family via TV interviews.

Pet Shop Boys working on new album

OHMYGOSSIP — Pet Shop Boys are working on a new album.
The ‘West End Girls’ hitmakers – Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe – have revealed they’ve got 21 songs already in the bag for their follow-up to 2016’s ‘Super’ and that they’ve teamed up with Kylie Minogue and Take That producer Stuart Price again.
In a statement on their Twitter, the synth-pop duo confirmed: “Writing the next PSB album will continue this month when Chris and Neil return from holidays. They have been writing throughout the year and so far have 21 new songs. The new album will be produced by Stuart Price.
#PetText (sic)”
The pair previously worked with Stuart on their last record and 2014’s ‘Electric’, both of which made it into the top three.
Neil and Chris first met in 1981 and went on to have 22 Top 10 singles and 13 Top 10 studio albums.
Their biggest hits include, ‘Vocal’, ‘Sodom & Gomorrah’, ‘It’s A Sin’, ‘Left To My Own Devices’, ‘Domino Dancing’ and ‘Always On My Mind’.
In 2017, Pet Shop Boys received the Godlike Genius gong at the NME Awards.
Speaking of the honour – which was passed down to former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher this year – Neil said: “Little did I know when I started reading the NME as a child in the mid-60s, that one day we would stand here as an electronic duo getting such a magnificent award.
“Our career has been such a huge collaboration with producers, programmers, remixers and I would just like to thank every one of them – and accept this on behalf of electronic music, dance music and shiny pop music. Thank you very much.”

Amanda Barrie and Sally Ann Mathews are cousins

OHMYGOSSIP — Sally Ann Mathews and her former ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Amanda Barrie have discovered they are cousins.
The pair were left shocked when they found out on ITV show ‘Coronation Street’s DNA Secrets’ – which aired last night (05.09.18) and explored the genealogical links of several cast members – that they are distantly related to one another.
Sally – who plays Jenny Connor in the soap – said: “I am so surprised, but thrilled. In a bizarre kind of way, of course it was Amanda.
“That’s what’s really weird about it.”
Amanda – who portrayed Alma Halliwell on the show from 1981 to 2001 – added: “Funnily enough, I always felt close to Sally Ann. Now I feel extremely close and extremely proud.”
Sally, 47, and Amanda were left even more shocked when they were told both of their ‘Corrie’ characters were married to factory owners, with Alma’s husband Mike Baldwin (Johnny Briggs) and Jenny’s hubby Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) both previously owning Underworld.
Sally starred alongside Amanda during her first stint in ‘Corrie’ in the late 80s and early 90s, and the 82-year-old star joked she was pleased to find out she is related to the actress because she might need some of her organs.
She said: “Have you found any money in the family, darling?
“I thought I would come around the corner you would go, ‘Oh no.’
“I’ve always liked you. I’m also relieved that now I’m so old you might have organs to spare.”
But Sally joked: “You’re not having my kidney, but I’ll buy you a cup of tea.”
Sally also pointed out she has always noticed that she and Amanda share the “same cheeky sense of humour”.
She said: “We share the same cheeky sense of humour, dancing.”

Vanilla Ice’s flight drama as plane is quarantined

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanilla Ice was on board an Emirates flight from Dubai to New York on Wednesday (05.09.18) that was quarantined.
The ‘Ice Ice Baby’ rapper took to Twitter to reveal he was caught up in the incident, which saw three passengers and seven crew members taken to hospital for treatment after they they were struck down with “fevers of over 100 degrees and coughing.
Fortunately for the 50-year-old star, he was one of the lucky ones who was on a different deck to the affected area.
In a series of tweets, the ‘Cool as Ice’ star – whose real name is Robert Matthew Van Winkle – told his followers: “So I just landed from Dubai and now there is like tons of ambulances and fire trucks and police all over the place … So I just landed in New York coming back from Dubai and now I’m stuck on the runway with like 1000 police, ambulances, fire trucks, this is crazy … This is crazy. Apparently there is over 100 people sick on the bottom floor, so happy I’m up top, it’s a double-decker plane 380 (sic)”
The jumbo aircraft was said to have 500 people on board and landed at 9.10am local time.
A spokesperson for the airline later confirmed they were taking the required measures to control the situation.
They said: “All passengers were screened by the local health authorities prior to disembarkation and three passengers and seven crew were transferred to the hospital for further medical care and evaluation.

Ty Dolla $ign arrested for drugs possession

OHMYGOSSIP — Ty Dolla $ign has reportedly been arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana.
The 33-year-old rapper – whose real name is Tyrone William Griffin Jr. – was detained by police in Atlanta on Wednesday (05.09.18) after his limousine was pulled over by police just outside the Busy Bee Cafe and sniffer dogs led them to the hidden stash.
The ‘Or Nah’ hitmaker was reportedly travelling with six other people at the time – thought to be heading to a concert at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood – and, although they were all pulled out for the search, they were released without charge.
An eyewitness has told TMZ that several officers and drug dogs – who were barking like crazy – surrounded the vehicle before Ty Dolla was placed in handcuffs.
A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department has confirmed that both cocaine and marijuana were found in the vehicle but the rap star is yet to be officially charged.
This is the second time Ty Dolla has run into trouble over the past few months as back in June he landed himself in hot water when he tried to get a blind woman moved from her seat on board his flight to Ottawa because he was “allergic” to her guide dog.
Ty Dolla was on board an Air Canada flight from Montreal at the time when he allegedly asked the unidentified woman, who was sat behind him, if she could move further back because the fur from her assistance pooch made him sneeze.
The woman reportedly offered the ‘Love U Better’ hitmaker an allergy pill to help with his itchy nose, but he refused and claimed he had to perform on stage later that day.
Staff on board the aircraft attempted to calm down the situation by asking Ty Dolla if he had spoken to medical at the desk prior to boarding about his allergy, but he hadn’t.
However, because the blind woman had got approval to take the dog on board when she booked her tickets, the flight attendants said she didn’t have to move.
They did, however, offer the rapper a seat at the back of the plane, but he reportedly turned it down because he had paid extra for the place he had been allocated.

Roseanne Barr ‘walked away’ to let people keep their jobs

OHMYGOSSIP — Roseanne Barr claimed she walked away from ‘The Conners’ to save her cast mates’ jobs.
The 65-year-old disgraced actress – whose sitcom ‘Roseanne’ was axed by US network ABC earlier this year after backlash over a racist tweet she posted – has insisted she wanted to do what was right for her former co-stars.
Asked about reports her character could be killed off, she told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I just have to be neutral and walk away. I did walk away, so people can keep their jobs.”
The programme needed Roseanne’s blessing to be made, as she helped create the characters, and so she had to agree to forfeit her financial interests and sign off on the project.
The actress added that it was important to find a “silver lining” after ABC took the decision to end her sitcom after her remarks about former White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.
She added: “You know, there’s always a silver lining in every cloud, and the tough part is to find it.”
Though Roseanne insists she doesn’t “wish bad” on anyone involved in ‘The Conners’, she also doesn’t have anything positive to say either.
During a recent appearance on Rabbi Shumley Boteach’s podcast, she said: “I’m not going to curse it or bless it. I’m staying neutral. That’s what I do. I’m staying neutral. I’m staying away from it.
“Not wishing bad on anyone, and I don’t wish good for my enemies. I don’t. I can’t. I just stay neutral. That’s what I gotta do.
“I have some mental health issues of depression and stuff. I got to stay in the middle or I’ll go dark, and I don’t want to go dark again. I’ve done it. After all, I was married to Tom Arnold.”
And Roseanne still maintains her tweet – in which she compared Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to Barack Obama, to an ape – was misunderstood.
She said: “I’m so sorry that you thought I was racist and that you thought my tweet was racist because it wasn’t.”

The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress – who played Cheryl Brady in the Channel 4 soap from 2009 to 2013 – has tied the knot to her partner Richard Peacock in Somerset, but the couple have not married legally because she refuses to wed until marriage equality becomes law in her native Northern Ireland.
Bronagh posted pictures on Twitter of her and Richard on their big day, she and added the caption: “So THIS happened…
#CelebrationOfLOVE #LoveOfMyLife #NotLegalYet #EqualMarriage (sic)”
Several of her former ‘Hollyoaks’ co-stars took to Twitter to congratulate her on the news.
Anna Passey (Sienna Blake) wrote: “Congrats guys!!@bronaghwaugh you looked INSANELY BEAUT (sic)”
Gemma Bissix (Claire Devine) tweeted: “Your dress is EVERYTHING!! Congratulations (sic)”
Emmett J. Scanlan (Brendan Brady) said Bronagh looked “gorgeous” on her big day, and Gemma Merna (Carmel McQueen) sent her “congratulations” to the couple.
The ‘Fall’ star – whose Canadian mother is gay and in a same-sex marriage – recently admitted she will not marry legally until her mum is able to tie the knot to her partner.
She said: “I’m standing in support and solidarity with my mum.
“I’m getting married in Somerset and we’re having a big party but we’ll not do the legal bit until my mum can, until everyone in Northern Ireland can.
“We’re in the middle of a s**t storm right now in our country.
“I have gay parents and campaign so fervently for equality.”
Bronagh has also said it “blows [her] mind” that one part of community can marry but another cannot.
She said: “It is a human right to be able to marry the person you love.
“I cannot bear any group of people in our society to be treated differently.
“To allow one part of the community to get married but not another, because of their sexuality, blows my mind.
“It doesn’t harm anybody. It’s about love.”

Little Mix appear to tease new song Wait On It

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix are teasing new music.
The ‘Power’ hitmakers – Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards – took to Twitter on Wednesday (05.09.18) to share what appears to be a song title for their next single, with the hashtag ‘Wait On It’.
Alongside a new picture of the girls, they wrote: “It’s coming guys #WaitOnIt X the girls (sic)”
Last month, the ‘Wings’ stars shared a clip of a new song about independence.
The chart-topping girl group are seen in the back of a car singing along to the sure-fire hit.
In the video, Jesy starts off belting out: “Hell yeah I am / I don’t need a man /If I’m loving you it’s ‘cos I can / I don’t want your cash/I put my own rock on my hand.”
Little Mix have used their girl power anthems to address moving on from relationships in the past.
Perrie – who is currently dating footballer Alex Oxlade Chamberlain – admitted 2016’s ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ was about her split from former One Direction star Zayn Malik in 2015.
Meanwhile, the girls previously teased that they have “big” surprises planned for their fifth album, the follow-up to 2016’s Glory Days’, and have some exciting collaborations in the bag.
Teasing the record, Perrie shared: “As always something big! We don’t settle until we create something incredible that we’re proud of.
“We can’t wait for everyone to hear the new album.. it’s already piecing together so well.”
The blonde beauty added that they are “switching it up” with their new tunes.
Asked if there are any featured artists, she added: “I can’t give tooooo much away. It’s always better having some surprises up our sleeves. But I can say we’re excited about some potential collabs and we’re enjoying switching up our sound!”
Jade also revealed her The Struts rocker boyfriend Jed Elliott has been helping with the record.
She said earlier this year: “We’ve had three months off with the band so I’ve been doing some studio sessions with Jed for some Little Mix stuff.”
She said the album will feature “all-female” collaborations, and they’ll have a new song with fans by summer.
She teased: “We’ll have a new single summer time – it will be a step up from Glory Days.
“I think we’re going to do a lot more girl power, all-female collaborations, bringing back the harmonies.”

Roger Daltrey upset Elton John hasn’t played his charity gig

OHMYGOSSIP — Roger Daltrey is annoyed that Sir Elton John has never played a charity gig for him.
The Who frontman has claimed the ‘I’m Still Standing’ hitmaker has ignored his “bloody emails” when he’s asked him numerous times to help headline a concert to raise money for the UK’s Teenage Cancer Trust, which aims to improve the care and experience of young people aged between 13 and 24 suffering with the illness.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the 74-year-old singer said he’d decided to go public with his annoyance because he “can’t get through to him any other way.”
Daltrey is particularly frustrated because he has played at the 71-year-old singer’s charity concert “three times” and thinks now is the time that he returned the favour.
He said: “I have done his charity three times, it’s about time he did one for me.”
Although he’s desperate to get Elton on his line-up, Roger has done really well with his concerts so far as he’s managed to bag Ed Sheeran, Noel Gallagher and Sir Paul McCartney since he started the charity gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2000.
His next set of shows for the children’s charity are scheduled to run in March 2019 but it’s not yet known who he has asked to perform and whether he has a line-up already in place.
Roger was recently honoured with a plaque at the Royal Albert Hall for his work as a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust as the venue has so far raised £29 million.
Elton, on the other hand, regularly organises his own charity concerts for the The Elton John AIDS Foundation, which aims to create an AIDS-free future for everyone in the world.

Rita Ora flashes knickers and bondage bra at GQ Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora left little to the imagination as she flashed her knickers and bondage bra at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London on Wednesday (05.09.18) night.
The ‘RIP’ hitmaker set pulses racing when she arrived at the glamorous event, held at the Tate Modern, in a sheer crystal-embellished floor-length gown wearing nothing but a skimpy pair of pants and some sexy suspenders underneath.
The 27-year-old singer was determined to get a mix of elegant and seductive as she strutted down the catwalk in her figure-hugging frock and satin stilettos.
As the spotlights above hit the sequins covering her dress, the blonde beauty gently turned her hips to ensure all eyes were on her during photograph time.
While her barely-there gown was enough to do all the talking, Rita couldn’t resist adding a pop of colour to her eyes as she opted for a silver sweep across her lid, a strong cat-eye flick, a deep shade of bronzer on the cheeks and a pink gloss.
Her mid-length blonde hair, on the other hand, was left to fend for itself against the blustery wind as she left it down and straight with a slight flick at the ends.
After flashing the flesh at the actual awards, Rita took things one step further for the after-party in Primrose Hill, North London, as she rocked up in a sheer dress and no bra – meaning her nipples were protruding through the mesh.
The ‘Body On Me’ hitmaker did attempt to cover her modesty slightly as she threw her hand across her chest to hoist her dress up as she made her way into the venue but, despite her assets being on display, she oozed confidence.
This time, however, Rita traded her skimpy knickers for a fuller brief to ensure her backside was concealed as she danced the night away at the post-awards bash.

Rose McGowan makes history at GQ Men of the Year awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Rose McGowan became the first ever female recipient of the Inspiration Award at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (05.09.18).
The 45-year-old actress-and-activist made history during the star-studded awards ceremony at the Tate Modern in London, as she collected the prestigious honour for her brave decision to speak out about the alleged sexual harassment she suffered at the hands of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.
Speaking about her win, Rose said: “It feels pretty special. It’s really nice to be recognised for the years of behind-the-scenes work that I’ve done and some in front of the scenes.
“But I simply come as representative for those who don’t have voices and I feel like I stand in for them, so if I feel like I’m being honoured, it’s they who are being honoured.”
The former ‘Charmed’ star – who attended the event with her partner, non-binary model Rain Dove – was one of the first women to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault, and helped pave the way for dozens of others to tell their story and be heard.

Prince Charles: I’m fashionable once every 25 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles has poked fun at himself for being “fashionable once every 25 years”, admitting he is like a “stopped clock”.
The Prince of Wales thought he had been given an “ill-deserved fashion award” when he was told he had been chosen for the Editor’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Philanthropy at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, before discovering the accolade is for his charity work.
Speaking at the star-studded awards ceremony at the Tate Modern in London on Wednesday night (05.09.18), he said: “When I was told of GQ’s wish to give me an award, I felt sure there must have been some kind of mistake and I thought it must be some sort of ill-deserved fashion award.
“Particularly because in fashion terms I’m like a stopped clock, in other words I’m fashionable once every 25 years.”
The 69-year-old royal – who is a patron or president of more than 400 charities, and has founded several of his own, including The Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation – also joked that watching a tribute to his charity work, which featured several celebrities including Idris Elba, was like seeing a preview of his obituary.
He said: “I’m grateful to [GQ editor] Dylan to give me a preview of my obituary.”
The royal continued making quips in his speech by joking he would bear the sizeable accolade in mind if he ever needed a weapon to chuck at a burglar.
He said: “I’m enormously grateful for this award and I see it’s something I can throw at a burglar.”
Charles insisted there is “nothing more satisfying” to him than his charity work.
He added: “It wasn’t easy at the start when trying to set up these charities and raise money. Spending money on worthwhile projects is relatively easy but making it is harder.
“There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the difference you can make to young people’s lives.”
Dylan Jones, Editor of GQ said: “The Prince of Wales has given his service to charities and philanthropic endeavours with such steadfast revolve, clarity of purpose and dedication to others, at home and on the world stage.
“We are particularly honoured to be able to dedicate The Prince of Wales with this award during British GQ’s 30th Anniversary this year.”
Charles’ charities – which also include The Prince’s Trust Group and The Prince’s Foundation – raise more than £150 million annually.

Martine McCutcheon opens up on Lyme disease

OHMYGOSSIP — Martine McCutcheon says her battle with Lyme disease gave her a different perspective on life.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star was working on ‘My Fair Lady’ in the West End when she was struck down by the serious illness 12 years ago, and she explained how her hectic schedule meant she didn’t have time to stop or rest.
Appearing on ‘John Biship in Conversation With…’ on Thursday night (06.09.18), she says: “My system was weak, I just hadn’t stopped.
“When you can’t lift your arms when you sleep 17 hours straight, don’t know if youre gonna make it to the shop, you look at life differently.”
Earlier this year, Martine, 42, revealed she was putting her family in front of her career after also battling Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME) – which is also known as chronic fatigue syndrome – and severe depression.
The proud parent is mother to Raffery, three, with singer Jack McManus, and she admitted it has made her reassess her priorities.
She previously said: “After you’ve been through what I’ve been through you learn to appreciate everything.
“You start to appreciate the simpler things in life… and then the career comes second. I’ve got a really nice life. It takes a lot for me to agree to be away from my family and work long hours.”
Martine was diagnosed with ME – which causes debilitating fatigue, painful muscles, and disordered sleep – in 2007, and at one point was in such severe pain that she had to use a wheelchair and considered taking her own life.
Speaking about the disease, she said: “I’ve learned to manage it and pace it. So you get to the point where you don’t really feel like it affects you. That’s lovely.
“When you kind of don’t remember you’ve got it, that’s a good sign. I just take each day as it comes and I don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s not worth it.”

Tanya Bardsley ‘grateful’ for life after home fire

OHMYGOSSIP — Tanya Bardsley was “grateful” her family were unharmed in a fire at their home, despite losing “everything”.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star – who is married to footballer Phil Bardsley – was shook up after a blaze at their house, but she insisted they were actually “lucky”.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she said: “We have lost everything, but I am not even bothered about that. I was just so so grateful that my daughter was alright.
“Everyone kept saying about the house, but I was like ‘it doesn’t matter, it’s fine’. We’ve only lost material things, no sentimental stuff. So we are lucky in that way.”
The couple’s 16-year-old daughter Gabriella was the only one at home, as her parents and siblings Rocco, Renz and Ralphi were all out at the time.
She admitted that while her eldest child has “bounced back” after the terrifying incident, it has still left them shook up – particularly Rocco.
She said: “The other children were really upset, just hearing the word fire.
“We thought the little one didn’t have a clue but then he kept wetting himself and he never does that. But once he got back with us and was settled, he was fine.”
The 37-year-old reality star explained that despite the pressures and strains – it could be six months until they get into their own home again – she has turned the fire into a positive.
She added: “I am just thinking about what we have and how grateful I am. It could have been so much worse. Because of the heatwave there was another house fire the day before and someone died so I am just so grateful that my daughter is safe. Since the fire, I don’t cling onto stuff, I just think life’s too short.”

Margot Robbie joins WW2 thriller Ruin

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie is being lined up to star in the World War II thriller ‘Ruin’.
The 28-year-old actress will lead the cast alongside Matthias Schoenaerts after ‘Assassin’s Creed’ director Justin Kurzel – who has been out of the limelight for a few years – spent the best part of last year trying to figure out his ideal cast.
It’s believed Kurzel was initially looking at Gal Gadot playing the lead following her successful portrayal of Wonder Woman last year, but her busy schedule meant she was pulled out of the running and Robbie was pushed to the front.
It’s not yet known who else is part of the line-up, but it’s believed the cameras will start rolling next Spring in Prague after Kurzel locked in his two leading stars.
The movie, which has been written by Ryan and Matt Firpo, will follow the story of a holocaust survivor (Robbie), who seeks revenge on the troops who killed her family, but lands herself in a sticky situation when she builds an unlikely alliance – and possible romance – with a former Nazi captain (Schoenaerts).
The pair travel the ruins of post-World War II Germany as the Nazi captain attempts to make amends for his crimes by hunting down the members of the SS Death Squad that once worked under him, according to Empire magazine.
Meanwhile, Robbie is currently working on Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ and will next be seen in ‘Mary Queen Of Scots’ in January.
And, although she’s still taking on movie roles, Robbie recently admitted that she feels more emotionally invested in a film when she’s producing the project after she served as a producer on her new movie ‘Terminal’.
Asked whether producing complements acting or whether it gives her something acting doesn’t, the Australian actress replied: “It actually works hand in hand with acting. I assumed it would be more of a conflict of interests, trying to split myself between the two roles. But actually, I feel like it made me better at each job, being so involved. And actually it does give me something I don’t get just from acting … you know, feeling like, ‘Oh, that’s our project.’ ”
