John Legend ‘inspired to be a better father’ by wife Chrissy Teigen

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend is “inspired to be a better father” by his wife Chrissy Teigen.
The ‘Love Me Now’ singer says he is “inspired every day” by the Sports Illustrated model and her love encourages him to be a better father to their two children – Luna, two, and Miles, three months.
Speaking to reporters about his relationship with Chrissy, he said: “We inspire each other. She inspires my songs, she inspires me to want to be a better husband and a better father. We support each other fully in everything that we do. I root for her in her career and everything she’s doing.
“And I expect that she’ll be up here winning Emmys herself for all the awesome work that she does. She’s such a dynamic, vibrant personality, and I’ve fallen in love with her a long time before the rest of America did. But now America’s fallen in love with her too, and she inspires me every day.”
Meanwhile, John previously admitted he has been changed by fatherhood.
He said: “I think being a father helps me understand even more how fragile life can be sometimes and how much it’s imperative for us who have so many resources and so much power to try to make other kids’ lives better. Because we know we can afford for our kids to have proper health care, to have proper education, but there are so many kids in our country and around the world who don’t have that and I think this experience of fatherhood has made me double down on saying, we got to do what we can together to make this world better for our young people growing up.”

Sarah Hyland works out naked

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland works out naked so she “hates herself and works harder”.
The ‘Modern Family’ star has confessed she strips off before doing her exercise because it makes her work harder on her figure.
Taking to her Instagram story, she said: “So I have a break from filming right now before some other things, and does anybody else like working out naked in front of mirrors so you hate yourself and work harder? Seriously. I suggest you all do it. Because you’re in front of the mirror and you’re like, ‘Must have Dua Lipa abs!'”
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress previously insisted she refuses to be body shamed.
She said: “For me it’s just kind of like a natural reaction [to speak out]. And sometimes it gets too much to where I’m like, okay, I really need to make a statement right now because what is happening is not okay. And it happens all the time. People think that because you’re in the public eye you sign up for criticism from random people and strangers. But I’m in this business because I love the craft, and I love the art of it, and I love creating and evoking emotions out of people.”
Sarah’s slim figure has made her the target for Internet trolls, and she recently took to social media to slam critics who have claimed she isn’t getting enough carbs in her diet.
She said: “I’ve been reading some of your DMs and so many of you are like, ‘Girl, you fine but like, eat some bread!’ So I would like to put in a request for anyone who is concerned about my bread consumption to send to Wells Adam, because he is the sole person who knows about how much bread I consume on a daily basis. Thanks! Love you, mean it, Ok bye. (sic)”

Nicki Minaj humiliated by Cardi B fight

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj was “humiliated” by her fight with Cardi B.
The ‘Superbass’ hitmaker was “mortified” by her altercation with the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper at New York Fashion Week and was embarrassed by how they “made theirselves look”.
Speaking on Beats 1 on Apple Music, she said: “The other night I was a part of something so mortifying, so humiliating to go through in front of upper echelon people – it’s not about black or white – people who have their lives together. I was mortified … I could not believe how humiliated I felt …. how we – and I use the term ‘we’ loosely – made ourselves look.
“I would never discuss anyone’s child. It’s so sad for someone to pin that on me. I would never talk about anyone’s child’s or parenting, I don’t give a s**t. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy. if you’re right in whatever you’re doing, you don’t ever have to make someone into the bad guy. You know I didn’t say or never did talk about anyone’s child … I am not a clown, that’s clown s**t. The other thing that is clown s**t is telling the world that they did s**t because you look dumb.”
Soon after the incident, Cardi took to Instagram, where she claimed she let Nicki “talk big s**t about” her.
She shared: “I’ve let a lot of sh*t slide. I let you sneak diss me. I let you lie on me. I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**king with them! I let you talk big s**t about me. I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person and every time you copped a plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***ing off! I’ve worked too hardand come too far to let anybody f**k with my success!!! Bitches talk all that s**t in they raps but in real life they p**sy. This s**t really is for entertainment.”

Lady Gaga’s miserable days

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga feels “miserable” every day after suffering a sexual assault at 19.
The ‘Pokerface’ hitmaker was raped when she was just 19-years-old and admits it still affects her to this day, and at times she can have a “hard time breathing” and her “whole body goes into a spasm”.
She said: “No one else knew. It was almost like I tried to erase it from my brain. And when it finally came out, it was like a big, ugly monster. And you have to face the monster to heal. For me, with my mental health issues, half of the battle in the beginning was, I felt like I was lying to the world because I was feeling so much pain but nobody knew. So that’s why I came out and said that I have PTSD, because I don’t want to hide – any more than I already have to.
“I feel stunned. Or stunted. You know that feeling when you’re on a roller coaster and you’re just about to go down the really steep slope? That fear and the drop in your stomach? My diaphragm seizes up. Then I have a hard time breathing, and my whole body goes into a spasm. And I begin to cry. That’s what it feels like for trauma victims every day, and it’s … miserable. I always say that trauma has a brain. And it works its way into everything that you do.”
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old singer also revealed she gets “so irritated” when people say her fibromyalgia isn’t real.
She told the October issue of Vogue magazine: “I get so irritated with people who don’t believe fibromyalgia is real. For me, and I think for many others, it’s really a cyclone of anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and panic disorder, all of which sends the nervous system into overdrive, and then you have nerve pain as a result. People need to be more compassionate. Chronic pain is no joke. And it’s every day waking up not knowing how you’re going to feel.”

Carrie Underwood to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood is to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ‘Before He Cheats’ hitmaker will be given the honour during a ceremony on September 20 at 1750 North Vine Street, where Capitol Records is, at 11:30.
Simon Cowell – who was a judge on Season 4 of ‘American Idol’, where Carrie shot to fame – and country star and friend Brad Paisley are set to speak at the ceremony.
The 35-year-old singer – who has three-year-old son Isaiah with her husband Mike Fisher – previously admitted it is not always easy juggling motherhood and her career.
She shared: “I’m not going to lie, it’s difficult when professionalism and your mommyhood collide – which is on a daily basis – but it’s wonderful.
“It’s like bring your baby to work every day. He’s just there, and it’s great he’s on the bus and helping me get ready. It might make things take a little longer, but he’s just my little sunshine. He makes me happy all day. [But] I’ve blocked off some time to be able to take him trick-or treating a little bit and got him a costume and everything.”
And Carrie feels that her “whole life changed” when she welcomed her son into the world.
She explained: “Our whole life has changed. I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is.’ But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise – that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family. That’s what it’s all about.”

Hilary Duff over being pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Duff is a “little over” being pregnant.
The ‘Younger’ star – who has six-year-old son Luca with her ex-huisband Mike Comrie – can’t wait to welcome a little girl with boyfriend Matthew Koma and is “so ready” to meet the new arrival.
She said: “Honestly, I feel really good and I am a little over it at this point where I am like, ‘Cool, I’m ready, when is it happening?’ But it is awesome to have another kid to focus on because you’re not constantly focusing on every little ache and pain you feel or anything that happens. I am not on Google right away like I was the first time around. I know what is going on.”
And the 30-year-old actress finds it hard balancing her career and motherhood but knows she is blessed to have the opportunities she does.
She added to People magazine: “This year I was newly pregnant, so you just do it. I think this is my life and I am lucky to have lots of opportunities and lots of people that are sensitive to what my priorities are in my life, which is obviously my kid. They help make that schedule happen for me.
“I am lucky to have the opportunities to do so many different things because I have been working for such a long time that I don’t think I could just strictly be a mom. I really need that other outlet.”

Burt Reynolds cremated

OHMYGOSSIP — Burt Reynolds’ body has been cremated.
The ‘Boogie Nights’ actor passed away last Thursday (06.09.18) aged 82 after suffering a cardiac arrest and though no funeral plans have yet been announced for the screen legend, his death certificate shows his remains have already been cremated at Florida’s Gold Coast Crematory.
According to the document, which was obtained by The Blast, Burt’s niece Nancy Hess is in charge of the remains.
It is unclear whether or not there will be a public memorial for the ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ star or whether his family have plans to scatter his ashes in a particular place.
Nancy previously admitted her famous uncle’s death had come as a shock.
She said in a statement: “My uncle was not just a movie icon; he was a generous, passionate and sensitive man who was dedicated to his family, friends, fans and acting students
“He has had health issues, however, this was totally unexpected. He was tough. Anyone who breaks their tailbone on a river and finishes the movie is tough. And that’s who he was. My uncle was looking forward to working with Quentin Tarantino (in ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’) and the amazing cast that was assembled.”
The ‘Deliverance’ actor had been battling several health issues over the years including a bout of flu in 2013 which left him in intensive care, and underwent a heart bypass operation in 2010.
After being released from hospital following the surgery, Burt had said: “My doctor said I needed to undergo bypass surgery immediately. I went home and shaved then had the operation the next day.”
The ‘100 Rifles’ actor added he “was a heart attack waiting to happen,” admitting he felt “fabulous” after the surgery and even declared he wanted to “live to be 199.”

Nick Carter’s wife suffers miscarriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Carter’s wife has miscarried their second child.
The Backstreet Boys singer took to Twitter on Monday (10.09.18) to reveal he is “heartbroken” after he and his spouse Lauren Kitt – who already have two-year-old son Odin together – have lost their baby girl three months into the pregnancy.
He wrote: “God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. (crying emoji) I’m heart broken. (sic)”
The 38-year-old star – who is currently on his South America and Mexico solo tour – was so cut up about the tragic news that he contemplated cancelling his concert in Lima, Peru, because he had only just found out a few hours before.
He tweeted: “I don’t think I can perform tonight. I’m sorry Lima. (sic)”
He then went on to reveal that his wife – who he married in 2014 – had been carrying a “little sister” for their son Odin and, although it would be “hard” to perform after such a devastating blow, he would go ahead with the concert.
He explained: “It was a little sister for Odin… This will be hard, but for the love of my fans here in Lima I’ll be on the stage tonight. (sic)”
Lauren previously revealed that her pregnancy with Odin had been riddled with complications and she was on eggshells until she reached the second trimester.
She said at the time: “In the beginning of this pregnancy, we had complications and weren’t sure if it was going to carry through. It was just first trimester complications that passed, but I didn’t completely connect with my baby until I got later into my second trimester, because I didn’t know what was going to happen.”
However, after he was born, the happy couple were head over heels in love.
Nick – whose sister Angel is currently expecting a baby girl – said of Odin: “He’s just a bundle of joy and it melts my heart and gives me purpose and reason to keep on staying healthy, staying motivated and all of those things. He’s a really good, solid thing for me to have in my life.”

Casey Affleck praises ‘brave’ brother Ben

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Affleck has praised his brother Ben Affleck for his “very brave” decision to return to rehab.
The ‘Old Man & The Gun’ actor says his older sibling – who checked into a facility in Malibu three weeks ago as part of his battle against alcohol addiction – is “getting better” and he is “looking forward” to seeing him back on the right path.
He told E! News: “He’s an alcoholic and he’s in rehab. He’s recovering and I think it’s very brave of him to take care of what he needs to take care of.
“He’s handling his business and getting better. I look forward to him being out and back on his feet.”
And the 43-year-old actor revealed the ‘Justice League’ star is “doing great” with his treatment.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “He’s doing great. He’s in rehab and he’s recovering and seems to be doing well.”
Ben entered rehab after his ex-wife Jennifer Garner – with whom he has children Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six – staged an intervention, and she’s said to be thrilled with his decision to give treatment a third try.
A source previously revealed: “He told Jen and was not resistant. He asked her to take him and she wanted to be there for him.
“She wants him to be clean and healthy and will help him get there if he’s committed. She is glad he is in a safe place and getting the help he needs.”
Though he’s committed to his recovery, the 46-year-old actor has been making frequent trips home from the clinic so he can use his own gym.
A source said recently: “Ben is working out at his house. He goes home to his gym to work out with his trainers.
“Since last week, he’s been driven from the clinic every day from rehab to the house to work out. For a few hours a day. He’s always accompanied by his coach and therapist.”

Charlie Puth tried to help Mac Miller ‘get clean’ before death

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Puth tried to help Mac Miller “get clean” before his devastating death.
The ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ hitmaker had become “really good friends” with the 26-year-old rapper – who sadly died from a suspected drugs overdose last week – in the six months leading up to his passing and he was hopeful that he could help him turn his life around after years battling with substance abuse.
Speaking to E! News, the 26-year-old singer said: “We talked almost every day and I don’t get a lot of friends who come into my life who I hit it off with so quickly. I had known him for about six months, but we became really close, we became really good friends and I always thought I’d be the one to help him get clean and to lead him onto the path of a good, clean, sober life.”
However, Charlie now blames himself for the ‘Dang!’ hitmaker’s death as he doesn’t feel he “did enough” for Mac because he was so busy with work.
He added: “Every time someone close to me passes away I always text their phone and–I don’t know why I do this often–I just wrote, ‘I love you man,’ and I knew he wasn’t going to write back but I just felt like I had to do it anyway.”
Charlie took to his social networking sites after the news of Mac’s passing surfaced online last week and admitted he was so “happy” he got to know him.
He wrote: “This is not real, I’m waiting for you to call me and say it was just a joke. I texted your phone before I know u got it.
“I can’t keep losing friends like this…I wish I spent more time with you these past weeks…I’m so sorry… rip MAC…you wrote the soundtrack to my college years and I’m so happy I got to know you…this sucks this really really sucks. (sic)”
An autopsy into Mac’s passing was completed this week but, although his body has been released to his family, there are still some additional tests pending before his exact cause of death can be announced by the coroner.
Los Angeles County coroner’s spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani told People.com: “The autopsy was completed and a cause of death has been deferred pending additional tests. His body has been released.”

Ryan Thomas wants to move on

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Thomas wants to move forward from his row with Roxanne Pallett.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner admitted he was “really scared” when the former ‘Emmerdale’ actress claimed he had punched her and she was too scared to sleep in the same room as him, but after she apologised and admitted she had “got it wrong” and he finally got the chance to review the footage when the show ended yesterday (10.09.18), he wants to put it behind him.
Speaking to Rylan Clark-Neal on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side’, he said: “We have to look forward and not dwell on that
“We can’t think about the bad times.
“It was the only time I was really scared and I think anyone in my position would have been the same.”
But the 34-year-old actor admitted he couldn’t have got through the difficult period in the house without the friends he’d made on the show.
He added: “Everyone around me and the friends in there, they supported me, I couldn’t have done it without them guys.”
Earlier in the evening, Ryan won praise from viewers of the show when he told ‘CBB’ host Emma Willis he would “forgive” Roxanne for her false claims.
He said: “If she wants forgiveness and it makes her feel better then I would rather give her that because I think she’s been punished enough by the public and the people around her.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who was declared bankrupt five years ago – is reportedly set to make millions from his stint on the reality show.
In addition to the £500,000 prize for winning the contest, Ryan is said to have been inundated with offers of acting work.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “t didn’t matter what happened in the final. Ryan was already the winner as TV bosses want him, there have been several offers.”

Piers Morgan signs new GMB contract until 2019

OHMYGOSSIP — Piers Morgan will remain on ‘Good Morning Britain’ until at least the end of 2019.
The 53-year-old presenter has revealed he’s just signed a new deal with ITV that will see him continue fronting the early-morning breakfast show alongside his co-star Susanna Reid until the end of next year.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “I’ve just signed an extension to my deal that takes me through to the end of 2019, people don’t know that. It’s an extension to an extension. I did two extensions in the space of four months. So I must be doing something right at the moment. But that can change.”
However, Piers is determined to remain on the programme until he’s beaten rival BBC’s ‘Breakfast’ in the ratings war – even though he thinks they’re at an advantage because they don’t have to run commercial breaks or competitions.
Asked if he will rest until he’s beaten the BBC’s viewing figures, he replied: “No. No. But they’re the BBC they don’t have to run commercials, they don’t have to competitions. It’s a totally different dynamic and we are in a way behind them as things stand but we’re a lot closer to them than we were two and half years ago. That’s interesting to me that we’ve managed to close the gap pretty significantly.”
Piers joined ‘Good Morning Britain’ in 2015 and he doesn’t think it’ll be long before the BBC is given a run for their money because their format is “boring.”
He explained: “At the moment everyone views ‘Good Morning Britain’ as a success story. The ratings are up 35 per cent in the last two years, which is a big, big jump in terms of ratings. I think they’re a perfectly competent programme with good presenters but they’re fairly BBC stayed, dare I say, boring. I think the one thing we’ve brought is a bit of spark and spontaneity and unpredictability.
“And you’ve now got a clear choice you can go with the BBC and you can watch what they do which a lot of people like, or you can come to us and have a more unpredictable, lively, noisier affair.”

Ryan Gosling’s moon movie honour

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Gosling found it an “honour” to play Neil Armstrong in ‘First Man’.
The 37-year-old actor portrays the late astronaut – who was the first man on the moon – in Damien Chazelle’s upcoming biopic and he embraced the chance to show some previously-unknown aspects of the lunar pioneer’s personality on screen.
He said: “I think the term still waters run deep is good for Neil, there’s so much there.
“It was an honour to try and get to reveal some of them, he was such a deep and admirable person, he had an incredible ability to see everything in larger context, he could see a giant leap in one small step and it was an honour to try and reveal some of the other colours to his personality that he very rightly was protective of.”
Though Ryan embraced his role in the movie, he admitted it was difficult playing a real person and knowing their families would see the finished film.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “I think the most difficult part, correct me if I’m wrong, about the whole film is that Neil and Janet’s sons were going to see it, there’s no way to know how people were behind closed doors.”
Co-star Olivia Hamilton, who portrays Pat White, the wife of astronaut Ed White, agreed.
She said: “Playing a real person whose family is going to see the movie, it felt like it just raised the stakes tremendously and especially, I won’t give anything away, as a character that experiences the dramatic impact of the mission, I just felt a strong duty to do the woman justice.”
The director was keen to take a “well-documented event” in history and bring a fresh take on the events.
He said: “We tell the story through the perspective of Neil Armstrong and his wife, Janet, and their family and just try to demythologise that moment in history, show what it really took and how hard it really was…
“What we felt was the one thing we could add to the equation, that wouldn’t just be duplicating stuff that we’ve already seen, would be to really tell the untold story, moments that I hadn’t really known anything about.
Neil’s time that he spent alone at the Little West Crater and what may have happened there, what may have crossed his mind, what the moon might have looked like literally though his eyes.
“I think those were these very private, emotional or psychological moments that I think Ryan and I and all of us wanted to try to dig into and become our guideline on how to do it.”

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t mind acting in front of boyfriend Alex Rodriguez

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez doesn’t mind doing love scenes in front of her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
The 49-year-old beauty invited her partner – whom she’s been dating for almost two years now – down to the set of her new romantic-comedy ‘Second Act’ recently and has admitted she has no qualms getting down to business in front of him because that’s who she is.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she said when asked if she gets more nervous in front of Alex when she’s acting: “No, I don’t. This is me. Take it or leave it!”
In the flick, which will hit cinema screens in November, Jennifer plays a woman called Maya who sets up a fake Facebook account and manages to mislead a private finance firm into believing she’s an accomplished consultant so that they’ll hire her.
Milo Ventimiglia plays Trey in the flick and she has admitted she feels “so lucky” to bag him for the part because she was convinced he would turn it down.
She explained: “I only saw one person’s face in my mind for Trey and it was Milo, and I didn’t know if he would do it, you know what I mean?
“I’m the lead character and sometimes guys don’t want to do that, and it’s a testament to who he is as an actor and person. We were so lucky to get him.”
But while most people are excited to see Jennifer in another rom-com following her success in ‘Maid in Manhattan’, ‘Monster in Law’ and ‘The Back-up Plan’, her 10-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she has with her ex Marc Anthony, were more interested in the fact that Vanessa Hudgens would play her on-screen co-worker Zoe.
She joked: “It’s my kids, it’s Alex’s kids — they’re like, ‘Oh, my God, Vanessa Hudgens!’ ”

Florence Welch broke out of ‘trance’ before stage accident

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Welch broke her foot on stage because she came out of her “trance state”.
The Florence + the Machine singer suffered the injury after jumping off the stage at Coachella in 2015 and has now explained she felt a sudden urge to get away from having all eyes on her after a fleeting moment of becoming “self-aware” that made her more “clunky” than usual.
She said: “I had suddenly become self-conscious. I’d just taken my shirt off in front of a bazillion people, and I realised that I’d done that. I remember thinking, ‘Oh, my God, what the f**k?’
“When you’re in the trance and you go with it, you’re like, ‘Everyone take your clothes off,’ and you’re with everybody. But in that act, I suddenly … it’s like the f***ing Adam and Eve thing: ‘Oh, my God, I just realised that I took my top off in front of all these people. I’m not supposed to do that.
“I became self-aware for one second, and I was like, ‘I have to get off this stage because all these people can see me.’
“So I threw myself off the stage, but in a self-conscious way that hurt me, because I’m back in the physical. It was like I suddenly became clunky.
“When you’re in the almost out-of-body space, you’re usually pretty safe because you’re doing things in such a fluid way that you won’t hurt yourself.”
The ‘Hunger’ hitmaker also described how she enters a “trance” before each performance, listening to a regularly-updated playlist before zoning out and “giving [herself over] to the performance spirit”.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: “Sometimes I’ll put on something and listen to it over and over again.
“I have to start giving myself over to whatever it is that’s in charge of performances — the performance spirit or whatever the f**k it is. I don’t know, because it’s not really me.
“It always feels like there’s some sacred ground on the stage.
“It may be part of the performance itself, where you’re at odds with yourself sometimes. But I wouldn’t say all the time that I’m totally comfortable. It’s almost in the anger at that and the pushing through and the sort of ‘f**k you’ to myself that the performance comes out.”
