Cher’s Tom Cruise fling

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher’s fling with Tom Cruise began after they bonded over having dyslexia.
The 72-year-old singer and the 56-year-old actor first met in 1985 at Madonna and Sean Penn’s wedding and went on to have a passionate fling together after bonding over their learning difficulty.
Cher told Event magazine: “Then a bunch of people who were dyslexic were invited to the White House, and Tom and I are both dyslexic. We didn’t go out till way later, but there definitely was a connection there.”
Cher recently told chat show host James Corden that Tom was among her top five lovers ever but she refused to divulge any other details.
And Cher says she is currently single and “on the lookout”.
When asked if she has a partner, she said: “Not… not this week. I’m still on the lookout. The problem I have with all the boyfriends lately is that I don’t want to go any place with them because you can’t keep a relationship going in this kind of goldfish bowl, where everything you do and every picture you have taken will be on Instagram. There’s no way to keep something special.”
However, she still holds a flame for many of her ex-lovers, saying about Val Kilmer, “when we kissed I thought my head would shoot right off my body”, calling Gene Simmons, “the one I’m crazy about” and Rob Camilletti, a bagel baker 18 years her junior, “possibly the one true love of my life”.
Cher also spoke about her close bond with her eldest child Chaz, who transitioned from female to male eight years ago.
She said: “As I started to see him kind of blossom, and be happier than I’d seen him in such a long time, it was just great.
“Now we really have much more fun together. Chaz is happier than I’ve ever known him. But he’s also very nervous of this climate. America is a much more dangerous place now. There’s a lot more hate crime.”

Both Eddie and Paige are said to be thrilled that they are expecting a sibling for Izzy.
A source recently said: “They are very happy to expect another baby. They wished for a younger sibling for their daughter. They live a pretty low-key life. They are all about family. Eva Mendes chooses family over acting

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Mendes doesn’t want to return to acting because it would mean being away from her daughters.
The 44-year-old actress and her partner Ryan Gosling, 37, have daughters Esmeralda, four, and Amada, two, together and Eva has stepped back from acting to focus on raising the girls.
She told E! News: “I’m just so obsessed with my kids that I don’t want to leave them. They’re just still so little.”
And she admitted that parenthood isn’t always easy but praised her and Ryan’s families for their support.
She said: “I don’t feel like I have it balanced at all. I kind of have been figuring it out as I’m going along and it’s just important to have a support system. I have my family, I have Ryan’s family and that’s just like, invaluable to have family around supporting you.”
Eva recently said she thinks motherhood has made her “care less” but “care more” too.
She explained: “I don’t know. I guess I’m still in it. I’m still new to the game. I feel like in a way it makes me care less because of priorities obviously but at the same time it makes me care more. Even though I have less time to think about what I’m wearing for my day or how to put something together, I think of it more in a sense of even if I’m not with my kids, I’m always representing them. It’s always on my mind. I’m somebody’s mother and I need to act accordingly. There’s an intense amount of pressure that I feel but it’s good pressure.”

Just two months after finding love in the ‘Love Island’ villa, the reality TV couple have called time on their romance.
Laura told Metro.co.uk: “Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together.
“Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.”
Jack added: “We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions. 23-year-old pro-surfer Laura and 22-year-old personal trainer Jack departed the villa as a couple, but she previously admitted they had been “taking it slower” since they re-entered the real world.
After they left the villa, Laura said: “We’re not officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Since we came out we are taking it slower.
“We’re just not rushing. We’ve seen other things go wrong, but we do have genuine feelings. I trust him and I will trust him until I have reason not to.”

Carrie Underwood suffered three miscarriages

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood has suffered three miscarriages in the last two years.
The 35-year-old country star already has three-year-old son Isaiah with her husband Mike Fisher, and is expecting the couple’s second tot, but has admitted it isn’t her first time trying for another baby, as she silently suffered two miscarriages in 2017, and a third earlier this year.
Speaking about her first miscarriage, she said: “I’d kind of planned that 2017 was, you know, going to be the year that I work on new music, and I have a baby. We got pregnant early 2017, and didn’t work out.
“And that was the thing, in the beginning, it was like, ‘Okay, God, we know this is, just wasn’t Your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it.'”
After tragically losing two more children, the ‘Cry Pretty’ hitmaker found herself getting “angry” – something which she’d previously refused to do because she knew she was “so blessed” in her life.
She added: “At that point, it was just kind of like, ‘Okay, like, what’s the deal? What is all of this?’
“I had always been afraid to be angry. Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.
“[But after the miscarriages,] I got mad. [I thought], ‘Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid?’ Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.”
Carrie believes God was listening to her through her heartbreak, as when she expected the doctor to tell her she had miscarried for the fourth time with her current pregnancy, he instead revealed “everything was great”.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’ which aired on Sunday (16.09.18), the ‘Before He Cheats’ singer said: “And for the first time, I feel like I actually I told God how I felt. That was like a Saturday – and the Monday I went to the doctor to, like, confirm, another miscarriage. And they told me everything was great! He heard me.”

John Legend: I hate seeing bad guys getting rewarded

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend finds it “frustrating” to see “bad guys being rewarded”.
The 39-year-old singer has hit out at current US president Donald Trump, branding him an “obvious liar and clear misogynist”, and says he’s tired of seeing “bad” people get handed respected positions, especially when he believes it’s “not difficult to be a good guy”.
Reflecting on the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements – which aim to end sexual harassment – the ‘All of Me’ hitmaker said: “There was clearly a moment where you see some justice for victims of abuse and some comeuppance for people who are perpetrators.
“But on the other hand you see someone who is an admitted sexual assaulter, an obvious liar, and a clear misogynist getting elected to the highest office in the country.
“It’s not difficult to be a good guy but it is a bit frustrating to see the bad guys being rewarded.”
And whilst the musician – who has daughter Luna, two, and son Miles, almost four months, with his wife Chrissy Teigen – isn’t a fan of Donald Trump, he is a longtime supporter of former president Barak Obama, whom he says he has a meeting with “soon” for something “political”.
He said: “I am seeing him soon, but more in a political capacity. Anything involving the Obamas is always fun.”
The ‘Love Me Now’ singer especially loves heading to parties hosted by the former figurehead, and said that bashes at the White House are always the best.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, John teased: “[The Obamas through the best parties]. Especially at the White House, when celebrities are not treated like they are a celebrity.
“We were in line one time with Jerry Seinfeld and he got held outside because his real name is Jerome but on the guest list it was Jerry. His wife was able to get in, we were able to get it, but he didn’t for the longest time.”

Richard Gere expecting second child

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva have confirmed they are expecting a child together.
The 69-year-old actor and his spouse – whom he married just five months ago – were rumoured to be expecting their first child together last month, and they have now taken to social media to confirm the news of their impending arrival with the help of the Dalai Lama.
On Instagram, 35-year-old Alejandra shared a picture of the happy couple with the Buddhist leader, and wrote: “A very special moment just a few minutes ago… Getting blessings for our precious to come.. we couldn’t announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama (sic)”
The blonde beauty then went on to repeat her message in her native Spanish.
The new arrival will mark the first child for the couple, but the second for each of them separately. ‘Pretty Woman’ actor Richard already has 18-year-old son Homer James Jigme with ex-wife Carey Lowell, whilst Alejandra has a five-year-old son named Albert from a previous marriage.
Richard and the businesswoman tied the knot in an Indian-inspired ceremony in New York in April and admitted at the time he wakes up every morning with a smile on his face because he feels so blessed to have her.
He said: “I’m the happiest man in the universe. How could I not be? I’m married to a beautiful woman who is smart, sensitive, committed to helping people, who’s fun, patient, who knows how to forgive, who’s a great cook – and who makes the best salads in the world! Alejandra meditates, she’s a vegetarian, a great mother, has the touch of an angel… and she’s also Spanish: the land of kings and queens, of Cervantes and Buñuel… You can’t get any better than that.”
The couple met four years ago through a mutual friend in Positano, Italy, and they knew almost instantly that they were meant to be together forever.
She said: “Love stories with a difficult beginning make you grow closer because of all the rough patches and difficult moments. I am sure that at some point I must have had doubts. In the beginning he was more confident than I was. But it wasn’t long until both felt we were meant to be together. We haven’t rushed anything. We have made this decision after four years together – but I still feel butterflies in my stomach.”

Casey Affleck: Jennifer Garner inspired Ben Affleck to go to rehab

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Affleck has praised Jennifer Garner for helping to inspire his brother Ben Affleck to head to rehab.
The ‘Justice League’ star has three children – Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six – with his ex-wife Jennifer, who staged an intervention last month to help encourage him to head back to rehab for help with his alcohol addiction.
And now, his brother Casey, 43, has said that much of Ben’s motivation to “get it together” comes from wanting to be a better father to his brood, and a better co-parent for Jennifer.
The ‘Manchester by the Sea’ star said: “Alcoholism has a huge impact on not just the person, but also their family. So, I think for his kids’ sake and for their mom, and for himself, he’s trying to do the work and get it together.”
Casey has had his own struggles with addiction and has been sober for six years, and says he and 46-year-old Ben – who has previously visited rehab in 2001 and 2017 – “come from a long line of alcoholics.”
He added: “Ben is an addict and an alcoholic. Most of my grandparents are alcoholics. My father is an alcoholic, as bad as you can be, and he’s been sober for about 30 years. I’ve been sober for about six years.
“Ben is trying to put it together, and it can be a very hard thing to do. He has the kind of resources and time, luckily, to take the time and go to a good facility.”
And Casey has nothing but sympathy for his older brother, who is also having to battle the paparazzi whenever he leaves his rehabilitation centre.
The ‘Old Man and the Gun’ actor told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “It can’t be easier to have everybody looking at you and taking your picture as you’re walking out of an intervention. I don’t envy that. I saw my father struggle with it for many years and nobody was following him around with cameras and stuff. It’s not a great look. But on the other hand, it’s nothing to be ashamed of and it’s good that he’s taken care of.”

Kris Jenner doesn’t want to marry again

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner is “happy” with Corey Gamble, but doesn’t want to get married again.
The 62-year-old Kardashian family matriarch has been married and divorced twice – first to the late Robert Kardashian from 1978 to 1991, and then to Caitlyn Jenner, who was formerly known as Bruce, from 1991 to 2014 – and although she is now in a “really great relationship” Corey, she doesn’t have an interest in walking down the aisle for the third time.
When asked if she’d get married again, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star said: “You know, you never say never, but I often say it’s just not what I think I need to do again based on my past.
“I’m in a really great relationship right now and I’m happy and I don’t want to mess that up. I used to listen to people say that, by the way, and think, ‘Oh, what a crock of you know what.'”
Kris – who has been dating Corey, 37, since November 2014 – says her “body wouldn’t co-operate” if she tried to relive her past, so she’s happy to move forward with her life without repeating the past and getting married.
She added: “I don’t have the need to put on a long, white dress and walk down an aisle. I’ve done that. I’ve had the big wedding, I’ve had the babies and the kids – six of them, by the way. It’s not like we need to do that again; my body wouldn’t cooperate if I wanted it to.
“I think that I just feel really grateful and blessed for my past experiences and I’m looking forward to my future and I just don’t think that I want to go there.”
The momager is mother to six famous children – Kourtney, 39, Kim, 37, Khloé, 34, and Rob Kardashian, 31, with late ex-husband Robert, and Kendall, 22, and Kylie Jenner, 21, with ex Caitlyn – and grandmother to a further nine tots.
And she says that whilst she “didn’t understand” her daughter Kourtney’s decision to not marry her former partner Scott Disick when they welcomed their brood – Mason, eight, Penelope, six, and Reign, three – she now says she “totally gets it”.
Speaking to Laura Wasser on her ‘Divorce Sucks!’ podcast, Kris said: “The more her and I communicated, and she told me how she felt and I just felt like, she knows what she’s doing. She’s got these amazing kids. So, I think to each his own. No two people are going to have the same opinion.”

Rose Byrne praises ‘generous’ Heath Ledger

OHMYGOSSIP — Rose Byrne has praised the late Heath Ledger for being an inspiration to fellow Australian actors.
The ‘Dark Knight’ actor – who tragically passed away in 2008 – hailed from Perth in Australia, and fellow Aussie actress Rose has said the star was always “so generous” when actors would travel across the globe to try and make it big in Hollywood.
Speaking to Australia’s Daily Telegraph, the ‘Bridesmaids’ star said: “Heath was so generous when any young Aussies would come to LA. You always had a place to stay, and he got me auditions on the projects which he was working on. He forged an amazing reputation in Hollywood. He paved the way for so many Aussies who have come after him.”
Rose, 39, and Heath starred together in drama ‘Two Hands’ back in 1991, and the actress is now on the judging panel for the Heath Ledger scholarship which was set up in the iconic actor’s memory 10 years ago.
The scholarship is worth $30,000 and was established to help struggling actors make it in the industry, and other judges on the panel this year include Elizabeth Debicki, Matt Damon and Naomi Watts.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Heath’s passing, and earlier this year several celebrities, including Naomi – who previously dated the actor – took to social media to pay tribute.
She wrote: “Thinking about this beautiful soul today. 10 years ago he left this world. He was a true original. Heart always on his sleeve, with the most powerful charisma, strength, humor and talent. I will never forget his gentle spirit. (sic)”
Busy Philipps – who is close friends with Heath’s ex girlfriend Michelle Williams, with whom he had daughter Matilda, now 12 – also paid her respects, saying she “can’t believe” a decade has passed already.
She said: “That anniversary, just brought up a lot of … I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I was pregnant with Birdie. I had seen him a couple months earlier, and you know, [Williams and Ledger] were broken up. I’ve never talked about it. I’ve never shared it, because I’m hyper protective of [Williams] and her daughter. But I also think … I think it’s OK. Everyone’s allowed to have their own feelings about something that happens.”

Kris Jenner: Social media can be depressing

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner admits there can be a “depressing” side to social media.
The showbiz matriarch has seen her family build its business empire through social media channels such as Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, but Kris has also conceded that there are some potential pitfalls that need to be avoided.
She said: “A lot of young people go on to social media and they see all these beautiful pictures of people.
“You’re only showing your best side on social media, you’re getting the filtered shot, looking your best, hair and make-up, for all these young girls that get all dolled up and take these pictures. And so if you’re not looking like that 24/7, it could probably be very depressing for someone that goes on, like, ‘Why can’t I live up to that standard?'”
Kris, 62, admitted that social media has played a particularly important role in the success of her youngest daughter’s business career.
She explained that different platforms have been crucial in promoting 21-year-old Kylie Jenner’s make-up brand.
In a clip from her appearance on the ‘Divorce Sucks! Podcast’ – which has been obtained by ‘Entertainment Tonight’ – Kris said: “Being on social media on the other hand is a lot of work.
“I think the business side is a very important part of social media … Kylie, for example, has a complete make-up business that she’s created over the last three years, and it’s sold right now, at this time … it’s just on E-Comm, so the way she promotes her brand is just on social media channels, all of her different platforms, and she’s got hundreds of millions of followers who are waiting for her to drop a new product.”

When Dan announced the split, he asked fans to be respectful of his family’s privacy while he and Aja tried to work out the best way to co-parent their kids.
He wrote at the time: “after 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I’s marriage has come to an end. Aja, who is also a musician, admitted at the time that she didn’t plan on being in a relationship.
She explained: “I was kind of at a place in my life where I thought, ‘This guy is so cute, but I’m not really interested in meeting anybody right now’.

Ariana Grande adopts pet pig

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has adopted a pet pig.
The ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker – who is a vegan and animal rights activist -has sparked speculation that she and her fiance Pete Davidson have become the proud parents of a micro piglet after she uploaded a series of videos and photos of her and the comedian snuggling up to the miniature creature online.
The 25-year-old singer didn’t give any more details about the piglet and, instead, let the pictures do the talking as the animal nuzzled into her neck on the bed.
But Ariana wasn’t the only one to develop a strong bond with the pig as she later shared a sweet shot of the fluffy creature asleep on Pete’s chest.
This is just the next step in the pair’s whirlwind relationship as they are currently engaged to be married after the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star popped the question just a few weeks after he officially started dating the ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker.
Despite finding love with Pete earlier this year, it’s been a tough time for Ariana as she was left devastated two weeks ago when her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller – whom she dated for over two years – tragically died in a suspected overdose.

Soon-Yi Previn accuses Mia Farrow of taking advantage of MeToo movement

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Allen’s wife Soon-Yi Previn has accused Mia Farrow of seeking to take advantage of the #MeToo movement.
The 47-year-old actress – who is the adopted daughter of Mia, Woody’s former partner – has rubbished allegations that the movie director sexually abused his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow in 1992, and she’s claimed Mia has used the #MeToo movement to damage her husband’s reputation.
Soon-Yi told Vulture: “I was never interested in writing a Mommie Dearest, getting even with Mia – none of that. But what’s happened to Woody is so upsetting, so unjust.
“[Mia] has taken advantage of the #MeToo movement and paraded Dylan as a victim. And a whole new generation is hearing about it when they shouldn’t.”
Woody – who has always denied the claims – also revealed how the allegations have impacted his career.
He shared: “I am a pariah. People think that I was Soon-Yi’s father, that I raped and married my underaged, retarded daughter.”
Woody and Mia’s relationship broke down in acrimonious circumstances in January 1992, when she discovered some of the nude photos he’d taken of Soon-Yi.
Recalling the aftermath of the incident, Soon-Yi said: “I remember the phone call when she found the photos.
“I picked up the phone and Mia said, ‘Soon-Yi.’ That’s all she needed to say, in that chilling tone of voice. I knew my life was over and that she knew, just by the way she said my name.
“When she came home, she asked me about it, and I – survival instinct – denied it. And then she said, ‘I have photos.’ So I knew I was trapped.
“Of course, she slapped me, you know the way of things.
“And then she called everyone. She didn’t contain the situation; she just spread it like wildfire, and then she was screaming at Woody when he came over.”
Woody, 82, and Soon-Yi have been married since 1997 – but the actress admitted she initially “hated” the director because he was dating Mia.
She said: “Woody wasn’t interested in meeting us children. And the feeling was mutual; we weren’t interested in meeting him.
“I hated him because he was with my mother, and I didn’t understand why anyone could be with such a nasty, mean person. I thought he must be the same way.”
