Jeremy Scott thinks social media has helped fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Scott believes social media has made fashion more democratic.
The Moschino creative director thinks online platforms such as Instagram have helped draw people around the globe into the “world” of high-end designers and catwalk shows and he finds it a lot more “fun” to have such a wider audience, even if they can’t afford to buy his wares.
He told the Sunday Times Style magazine: “I use the clothes and the photos and the images to communicate with people, to tune in and engage and to touch.
“I love democratised fashion. There can be this girl in Shanghai who doesn’t go to fashion shows or isn’t part of the industry in any way, but she can write what she sees because there’s access to all the images.
“The more people who feel like they’re able to find their way in the better. Maybe you can only purchase a little bit of high fashion or afford this much, but you can still be part of the world.
“I think that’s great and positive. It’s more inclusive in that way and more fun.”
And Jeremy is looking forward to reaching new consumers with his affordable collaboration with high street retailer H+M, with prices starting at just £15.
He said: “I love the fact that I’m able to bring the world of Moschino to the fans. I know how enthusiastic they are, how they’ll draw the clothes after they’ve been on the runway and then they’ll try to make their own version.
“I love that I’m able to give them the full breadth of it.
“There’s jewellery, there are bags, there are shoes — the whole lifestyle. I really wanted it to feel like another Moschino collection that I’d send down the runway.”

Gary Barlow ‘surprised’ Robbie Williams wasn’t X Factor judge sooner

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow is “surprised” Robbie Williams waited so long to become an ‘X Factor’ judge.
The 47-year-old singer – who was a panellist for two seasons – thought his former Take That co-star would have joined the show’s judging panel of the show sooner, and he believes appearing alongside his wife Ayda Field was a “genius idea”.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he said: “I’m surprised he’s waited so long to be honest.
“Rob’s great telly, he just is. He’s great to sit in a room with, he’s just Rob. He’s the centre of the room wherever he goes. I think it’s a genius idea taking Ayda with him.
“I know what Rob’s like, he doesn’t really like new environments and I really think Ayda … I remember the first time I met her.
“I remember coming home to the hotel and phoning everyone up and saying ‘Rob’s going to be alright, I’ve just met his fiancée, she’s going to look after him, she’s going to save his life.’ ”
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker recently confessed he is enjoying being a judge on the show more than anything else he’s ever done in showbusiness, and believes he has been doing the “wrong job” for the last 25 years of his career.
He said: “The amazing thing is, since I started to do the show I can’t believe I haven’t done it before. I’m having the best time in showbusiness that I’ve ever had full stop.
“I’ve been doing the wrong job for 25 years!”
Robbie admitted he was “instantly” up for appearing on the programme as a panellist when his wife Ayda was offered a judging role.
He said: “Ayda got a call from Nigel, the producer of the show, and he said, ‘Do you think Rob will do it if you do it, too?’
“Instantly, I was like, ‘That makes complete sense, I’m totally in.”

Seann Walsh hot favourite for Strictly Come Dancing boot

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann Walsh looks set to be the next celebrity to leave ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Bookmakers have made the comedian the hot favourite to be axed from the programme this weekend after pictures emerged of him and his professional partner Katya Jones sharing a smooch on a night out, despite him having a girlfriend and the dancer being married to fellow ‘Strictly’ pro Neil Jones.
Online bookie Betfair have priced Seann up at 6/4 to depart the programme after the upcoming weekend’s performances, with doctor Ranj Singh the next likely to leave at 3/1.
Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “It’s been quite the weekend for Seann Walsh who went from hero to zero on the Strictly dancefloor with his stomping paso doble with partner Katya Jones.
“The judges loved the raw passion shown between them, which clearly spilled into the night after pictures of the pair snogging emerged the next day.
“Seann may face a backlash from viewers for his transgression as despite his comeback on the dancefloor is the 6/4 favourite to be eliminated this weekend.”
However, some ‘Strictly’ fans have called for Seann – who has dated girlfriend Rebecca Humphries for five years – to be booted off the programme following his and Katya’s kiss.
Katie added: “We also have it at 16/1 that he will just quit the show completely before the weekend.”
But shrewd punters look likely to keep their money in their pocket, and the pair are expected to remain on the show and perform this weekend as planned.
Seann and Katya have both issued public apologies to their respective partners following their smooch.
She wrote on Twitter: “I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions. I wasn’t thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship. (sic)”
Seann tweeted: “In light of the story in today’s newspaper I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for. (sic)”

Damien Chazelle wanted new challenge of First Man

OHMYGOSSIP — Damien Chazelle wanted to make Neil Armstrong film ‘First Man’ because it is the “polar opposite” to ‘La La Land’.
The 33-year-old Oscar-winning director tells the story on screen of the 1969 Apollo 11 mission to the moon with Ryan Gosling playing the first man to step foot on the moon, astronaut Armstrong, in the biographical space drama and he relished the challenge of making such a different movie to the musical.
Speaking to The Guardian, Chazelle said: “I liked doing something that felt like the polar opposite of ‘La La Land’, just as ‘La La Land’ felt like the polar opposite of ‘Whiplash’, at least emotionally. But I was also just interested in exploring a different world – this was my first time doing something that wasn’t directly tied to my own life experience.
“I related to it as a movie about trying to turn dreams into reality, somewhat similar to ‘La La Land’ and ‘Whiplash’. I also wanted to give a sense of the work involved in becoming an astronaut, which movies tend to obscure – the sweaty hands, the vomit on the shirt, the dirty, gritty, cobbled-together aspect of it.”
Chazelle – who had his career breakthrough with 2014 jazz drama ‘Whiplash’ – admits he learnt about space travel from making the movie and he was determined to make his scenes as accurate as possible.
He added: “I would say I was more interested in movies about space travel than space travel itself [as a kid]. I always wanted to do art, whether it was music or movies or drawing or storytelling. Certainly I learned more about space travel by doing this movie than ever before. It took one trip to Houston early on to slap me in the face and go, ‘Oh s**t, if I actually want to do this I have got to buckle up and learn.’ ”
It is the second time Chazelle and Gosling have worked together following the enormous success they shared on ‘La La Land’ and the filmmaker insists the 37-year-old actor shares some of the “obsessiveness” and “determination” to “get things right” that Armstrong had, which made him perfect to play the real-life American hero.
Chazelle said: “He does a deep dive [into the character] and has some of Neil Armstrong’s obsessiveness and determination to get things right. In between takes he’d be huddled off with one of the astronauts we had on set, asking ,’Did that look OK?’ ‘Was it this button or that button?’ ‘For the next scene I have to pull the RCS switch – do you pull them fast or slow?’ He’s just like a hawk for all those things.”

Jennifer Garner reveals pet chicken rivalry

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner’s pet chicken tried to kill her new chicks.
The 46-year-old actress and her children Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and five-year-old Samuel – who she has with ex-husband Ben Affleck – keep hens at home and after recently adding to their flock, the ‘Peppermint’ star had some problems when one of them turned on the newcomers.
She told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: “They’re so fun. They’re such nice pets until they get mad at each other.
“We had six chickens, we got seven new ones, babies…We decided to introduce them, and Captain Hook, one of our older chickens, was not nice.
“She started trying to attack and kill the new chickens, specifically Hennifer and so we got a small coup to protect the new ones.
“I finally said to Captain Hook, ‘Look here girl you have got to shape up or it’s gonna be solitary isolation, and they’re all gonna be having the run of the coup and watching you in here.”
Unfortunately, Jennifer’s pep talk hasn’t been enough to make Captain Hook change her ways.
Asked if she’s stopped trying to attack, the actress admitted: “No. Not yet.”
But the former ‘Alias’ star left the presenter delighted when she revealed her plans to name one of the chicks after her.
She said: “I have two more chicken names coming up, I have Oprah Henfrey and Ellen DeHenerous.
Ellen replied: “That’s adorable, take care of them, I don’t want anything to happen to Ellen.”
Earlier this year, Jennifer mourned the loss of her favourite chicken, Regina George, who passed away from “natural causes” in March.
The ’13 Going on 30′ actress named the bird after the ‘Mean Girls’ character of the same name, played by Rachel McAdams, and she loved to take her feathered friend on walks.
Announcing that Regina had gone to the big bird house in the sky on her Instagram account, Jennifer posted a video tribute to the chicken and wrote: “Please enjoy this tribute to Chicken Regina George who passed away from natural causes. #shewasourfavorite #RIP #shelivedagoodlife [sic]”
The post also featured a picture of the unfortunate chicken’s grave, with a plaque which read “R.I.P. Regina George. July 9 2017 – March 20, 2018.”

Eddie Marsan to star in Hobbs and Shaw

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Marsan has signed up to star in ‘Fast and Furious’ spin-off ‘Hobbs and Shaw’.
The 50-year-old English actor has appeared in several David Leitch directed films including ‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘Atomic Blonde’ and the filmmaker has now got him on board for the action flick, which will star ‘Fast and Furious 8’ duo Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham as the titular characters.
Teasing the plot of the film, Leitch said: “I think it’s going to be a little bit more grounded because it’s the beginning. It’s an origin story, in a sense. It’s not an origin story, but we’re starting a franchise. So we want it to be a little bit more grounded, a little bit more character-centric.
“We’re going to set up the stakes for these guys and their relationship, but we’re also going to have some great set pieces and some action that you’d expect from that type of franchise.”
The spin-off will continue from 2017’s ‘The Fate of the Furious’ and see Johnson play agent Luke Hobbs and team up with assassin Deckard Shaw (Statham) to fight Idris Elba, who will play the film’s as-yet unnamed villain.
‘Fast and Furious’ scriptwriter Chris Morgan is penning the ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ film and although it will contain the “original DNA” of the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise but still maintain their own “take on the Fast universe”.
Leitch added: “We’re diving into their world. I think we want to have our own take on the Fast universe. It will definitely have elements of the original DNA, but it is more drifting into Shaw’s spy word and Dwayne’s agent world and, obviously, we want to build on their relationship, their conflict, their banter. That chemistry that they have between them, that’s sort of what’s driving the movie.”

Dame Barbara Windsor’s husband surprised by diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Barbara Windsor’s husband didn’t expect her to be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease when he urged her to see a doctor about her memory problems.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star’s spouse Scott Mitchell noticed she had been growing increasingly forgetful and had “lost her sparkle” after she left the soap in 2010 and suggested she sought medical advice, but “deep down” he had no idea she would receive the devastating diagnosis after over a year of tests.
He said: “Barbara was trying to continue with ‘EastEnders’ – this was just before she left – and I noticed it was taking her longer. When we decided she would leave, which she reluctantly did because she loved it, I noticed the repetitive nature came in and she was losing things.
“Something happened to her personality, it was as if some veil had come over her where she lost her sparkle.
“First you think it’s because she’s getting older – she was in her 70s then – and I accepted that as par for the course.
“It’s been such a gradual thing, I said, ‘First of all you’re getting forgetful and I think we ought to see someone because if there is wear and tear we may be able to get something to help it’ and I was faced with no resistance, so I was really lucky in that sense.
“Deep down I didn’t think it would be what it was, I just wanted to be safe.”
Scott initially felt “relieved” that he hadn’t imagined the worrying signs he’d seen in his wife but he also felt “numb” when his worst fears were confirmed.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, he said: “[There was relief that] I wasn’t imagining this, there was something there, so there was that sense of it, and also a slight numbness that happened to me.”
And Scott recalled the ‘Carry On’ star’s heartbreaking response to being told she had the degenerative condition.
He said: “We were sitting down and Dr. Kennedy said ‘Look I’m really sorry but it is Alzheimers’ and she just looked at me and said ‘I’m so sorry.'”
Though Barbara was excited on Monday (08.10.18) morning when Scott told her he was going to be on the daytime talk show, she’d sadly forgotten about it when he called her before going on air.
He said: I keep having to remind her – I left the house this morning and said I was going to ‘Loose Women’ and she said ‘Send my love. You’re going on the television?’ I got to the dressing room and phoned her to make sure she was OK and she said, ‘Where are you?’ ”

Gemma Collins hoping for Dancing on Ice weight loss

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins hopes her ‘Dancing on Ice’ training will kick-start a fitness regime to help her slim down for her wedding day.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star is planning to marry James ‘Arg’ Argent in a couple of years but after admitting the pair piled on the pounds over the summer, she is keen to start eating well and “working hard” with her skates on ready for James to pop the question.
She said: “I’m mainly doing the show for the amazing outfits and as a way of losing weight.
“If I commit myself to training and eating well I think I could really get in shape by doing the show.
“I want to get married in the next few years and I don’t want to be fat for my wedding day.
“We’ve both put on a lot of weight over the summer so now it’s time to work hard and get in shape.”
While Gemma, 37, admits she is “a little” nervous about hurting herself on the ice, she is determined to put on a good show for the audience.
She added: “I’m going to be in good hands with whoever I’m partnered with. I’m not deluded, I know no one is going to be able to lift me up on the ice, but I’m going to throw myself into it and give the audience a good show.”
James, 30, insists Gemma will “prove all the doubters wrong” on the programme, and has praised his significant other for being so hard-working.
Speaking in a joint interview with OK! magazine, he said: “A lot of people think Gemma’s going to be a bit of a joke act or quit when it gets too hard, but she’s going to prove all the doubters wrong.
“I’m constantly impressed with how hard Gemma works. If she isn’t filming for ‘TOWIE’ she’s working in one of her shops or planning her next project.
“I’m very proud of her. I’m going to be in the audience every week cheering her on.”
Arg’s comments come after Lorraine Kelly predicted Gemma will “walk out on episode one” of ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The TV presenter recently said: “She won’t do it. You know she’s going to walk out on episode one … or even before that.”

Katy Perry praises ‘anchor’ Orlando Bloom

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry has praised Orlando Bloom as a “great anchor” in her life.
The ‘Firework’ hitmaker is grateful her boyfriend provides her with stability and isn’t afraid to let her know when she’s being “cuckoo”.
She said of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ star: “[He’s] a great anchor.”
She added in an interview with Footwear News magazine: “For some reason, I attract people who are really real and call me out on stuff when I’m being cuckoo.”
The 33-year-old singer has spent the last year trying to focus on her mental health and emotional well being.
She said: “I’ve been trying to find the balance and not overindulging, just trying to stay grounded.”
And after 10 years in the spotlight, the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ hitmaker is planning to take some time out to “chill” as she thinks she’s now in a position where she no longer has to try and “prove” herself.
She said: “I’m not going to go straight into making another record.
“I feel like I’ve done a lot. I feel like I’ve rung the bell of being a pop star very loudly, and I’m very grateful for that. I love making music, I love writing.
“But I don’t feel like I’m a part of a game anymore; I just feel like I’m an artist. I don’t feel like I have to prove anything, which is a freeing feeling.”
It was recently claimed 41-year-old Orlando is planning to propose to Katy.
A source said recently: “Orlando doesn’t have a ring yet but has been talking about the future. Everyone would be excited if they got engaged. Katy is wonderful! He always said he would absolutely get married again, and it seems Katy could be it. They both seem very happy.”
Katy was previously wed to comedian Russell Brand from 2010 until 2012 while Orlando was married to Miranda Kerr, with whom he has seven-year-old son Flynn, from 2010 until 2013.

Helena Bonham Carter on standing up to Harvey Weinstein

OHMYGOSSIP — Helena Bonham Carter knew she could “lose work” if she stood up to Harvey Weinstein.
The 52-year-old actress admitted she “said no” to the disgraced producer – who has been accused of inappropriate sexual behaviour by dozens of women – on a number of occasions and though it “wasn’t easy” for her to speak up, she was able to do so because she already had a thriving career that didn’t rely on just his films.
She told The Guardian newspaper: “I already had a career. Other people were employing me. I wasn’t reliant on him.
“There were times when Harvey asked me to do certain things, and I said no. I knew I was running a thin line. Standing up to him wasn’t an easy thing to do because I knew I could potentially lose work.”
The ‘Crown’ star insisted the movie mogul did have his good points but she admitted she didn’t like the “chilling” way he treated people and frequently disagreed with his bullying behaviour.
She said: “Nobody is wholly bad and nobody is wholly good. He was very clever. There are a lot of reasons he was very powerful. He knew how to get you Oscar nominations. Both my nominations are due to him. And he had great taste in films.
“I found the way he treated certain people chilling – without any kind of respect. There were many times I disagreed with the way he behaved, and I don’t mean sexually.”
And Helena herself was subjected to some of the producer’s “revolting” behaviour when she was working on Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s ‘The Young and Prodigious TS Spivet’.
She recalled: “Harvey wanted me to tell Jeunet to change it. There is a scene in which he hitchhikes and Harvey said as soon as that kid gets into a truck everyone will think the truck driver is a child molester and all the kids in America will be freaked out.
“I said: ‘I don’t think you’re right, and I’m not going to tell Jean-Pierre Jeunet I know better than him.’ [He said] ‘You’ve got to tell that arrogant asshole he’s being a s**t, he doesn’t know the American market like I do.’ I found it revolting.”
But her experience didn’t put her off working with Weinstein after that.
She explained: “It’s a business.”
And despite industry speculation, the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ actress always assumed any sexual encounters between Weinstein and other actresses was consensual.
Asked if she’d heard of allegations of sexual abuse, she said: “I was aware certain actresses had had sex with him, but I thought it was consensual.”

Barbara Windsor forgot who husband was due to Alzheimer’s

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Barbara Windsor forgot who her husband Scott Mitchell was “two weeks ago” due to her Alzheimer’s disease.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star’s spouse Scott, 54, has been caring for his 81-year-old wife as she lives with the dementia-causing disease ever since she was diagnosed in 2014 and he has revealed that his worst fear became a reality when she had to ask who he was as he helped get her dry following a bath.
Although it was just for a moment, Scott – who first notices changes in his wife’s behaviour when she was in her 70s – admits it had a profoundly upsetting effect on him.
In an emotional interview on ITV daytime show ‘Loose Women’, he said: “When Barbara first got this diagnosis my big fear was always, ‘What if one day she looks at me and doesn’t know who I am?’ And that kind of haunted me, and two weeks ago, you know, that reality came. It was only brief, I was just helping her, she’d got out of the bath and she looked at me and was suddenly apprehensive, her eyes went blank and she went, ‘Sorry, who are you?’ ”
Scott also opened up on the difficult realities of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s and the daily challenges that must be overcome.
On rare occasions, Scott admits he struggles to cope with Barbara’s repetitive questions and becomes “slightly irritated” and he always immediate regrets it, because he loves the ‘Carry On’ legend so much.
He shared: “I’m learning as I go along is the honest truth. I never know what’s coming next. I’ve learned different techniques of how I handle things. Obviously, the thing I think that most people who have a loved one with this illness will get is the testing, challenging thing of the repetitive nature of it. For instance, when you’re sitting there of an evening and maybe the same question comes at you, however many times, let’s see eight to 20 times in one evening, sometimes it’s hard to keep that calmness in your voice, to not show that you’re slightly irritated. As much as you love someone, you’re human and you get to that point where you yourself may have had a day – I’ve got my own work to do, I’m thinking about Barbara – occasionally I show it. And I’m always mortified afterwards if I show it. I said to Jane in the interview, she won’t remember what I’ve said, but she’ll remember how I’ve made her feel.”

Ben Price stabs himself with toothpick to stop Corrie laughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Price has to stab himself with a toothpick on the ‘Coronation Street’ set to stop himself laughing.
Simon Gregson – who plays Steve McDonald on the ITV soap – loves working with the 46-year-old star, who is to return to the show as Nick Tilsley, and admits the “dafter” and “more silly” the atmosphere is on set the better a day he has at work.
He said: “I love working with Chris Gascoyne and Ben Price, before now Ben has had to have a toothpick to stick in his hand to stop him laughing in a scene.
“The thing for me the dafter it is and the more silly it is the better a day at work it is for me. The crew get on board with it and the atmosphere is great. So Steve and Lloyd’s scenes were great to do.
“Craig [Charles] is a fantastic comedy actor but he would let me run with it and was happy to play the straight man and we slotted into that very easily.
“Now it has taken on a different type of dynamic with Joe Duttine, as Tim and Steve are both as daft as each other.
“I always look at Tim and Steve and think they should be in shorts with a conker each and getting up to no good, so I love working with him as well.”
As well as Ben, Chris (Peter Barlow) and Joe (Tim Metcalfe), Simon cannot help chuckling when he is starring opposite his on-screen father Charlie Lawson (Jim McDonald), and the pair are always trying to make each other laugh.
He said: “I love working with Bev [Callard, Liz McDonald], we have a such a great time. With Steve and Liz there is always that air of comedy and as Charlie has got older he has got worse, and once Bev starts laughing she can’t stop.
“Charlie is always about making me laugh but I tell him I have learned from the master so I can get him back.”
Simon has portrayed Steve for nearly 30 years and while it took him “a long time to get grounded”, he is grateful to the soap for helping to provide him with a “very nice life”.
He added: “I don’t know what I would have said if I had walked in [for an audition] and they said ok this is an audition for the next 30 years of your life.
“The job has flipped my life upside down but it has also provided a very nice life, it has taken me a long time to get grounded but I guess if they had shown me what was to come I would still have taken the job.
“It doesn’t feel like 30 years, if someone said it has been 15 years I’d think yes that sounds about right.”

Stephanie Davis ‘wasn’t in a good place’ before Hollyoaks exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephanie Davis admits she “wasn’t in a good place” when she “walked out” on ‘Hollyoaks’.
The 25-year-old star portrayed Sinead O’Connor on the Channel 4 soap from 2010 to 2015 and now admits she had a “serious drink problem” towards the end of her stint on the programme because she “thought alcohol was the solution” to her issues, which included the death of her nan and her granddad being ill.
She said: “Looking back I wasn’t in a good place. I just walked out. My head kind of fell off.
“My granddad had cancer and was very poorly. I lost my beloved nan the year before and I wasn’t coping very well.
“I thought in my head I need a break, but now I know i had a serious drink problem and all I wanted to do was block everything out. It was such a relief when someone sat me down and told me what was wrong.
“I’d been going to counselling, taking anti-depressants and nothing was working. The one thing that was doing me in was right in front of me. I thought alcohol was the solution.”
But Stephanie – who has been sober for almost a year – is “really excited” about reprising her role as Sinead in the coming weeks, and has now set her sights on landing some big storylines and winning awards for her work.
She added to OK! magazine: “When I got myself sorted one day I was like, ‘Shall I go back to ‘Hollyoaks’?’
“I messaged the producer Bryan [Kirkwood], and he was already speaking to my agent and he was incredibly understanding and supportive. We met up for lunch and he asked me back.
“I’m a good actress – I just got a little it lost.
“I want the Best Actress award so some dramatic stuff. That would top everything off.”
Bryan recently praised Stephanie’s “remarkable courage and strength” after she went through a “really tough time”.
He said: “I am Stephanie’s biggest fan. I think she has shown remarkable courage and strength over the last year. She has been through a really tough time in the public eye, but she’s now come out the other side.
“Stephanie turned her life around, is making better choices and is returning to what she does brilliantly – and that’s being a fantastic actress.”
After leaving ‘Hollyoaks’, Stephanie appeared in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2016, where she met Jeremy McConnell.
The pair later embarked on a relationship outside the house and had a kid together, Caben, who is now 21 months old, but they later split and she admitted herself to rehab for alcohol issues following the break up.
Jeremy was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison after assaulting Stephanie, but insisted in July that he is now a “different person” following a stint in rehab.

Brie Bella has ‘mom guilt’

OHMYGOSSIP — Brie Bella has been suffering from “mom guilt”.
The 34-year-old wrestler struggled to know when was best to stop breastfeeding daughter Birdie, 17 months, and felt terrible when her milk supply began to dwindle and she had to introduce a bottle of formula to supplement the tot’s feeding schedule.
In a clip from an upcoming episode of ‘Total Divas’, Brie visited a breastfeeding support group and told the assembled women: “My breast milk’s taken a huge dip.
“I used to have enough where I donate. And now I’ve realised in the last month, that I can’t even keep up with her during the day so I’ve had to introduce one bottle of formula a day.
“I’m trying to pump and do all this stuff, but it’s the stress. I hate pumping.
“The guilt always plays in. Mom guilt’s the worst feeling in the world.”
And Brie – who has Birdie with husband Daniel Bryan – admitted her struggles made her feel like she was “failing” as a mother.
She said: “I thought pumping could balance Birdie and my job, but it’s not working. It’s weird how you just constantly feel like you’re failing.”
The WWE star came away from the support group feeling much more positive and secure in herself as a mother.
She said: “These women make me feel like it’s OK if you don’t want to breastfeed anymore or it’s OK to still balance it.
“To have other women just be like, ‘You do you. That’s all you have to do.’ I haven’t felt that in a while, so it means a lot to me right now.”
Brie recently revealed that she would be raising her daughter on a vegetarian diet, but won’t stop the tot from eating meat if she requests it.
She said: “As of right now, I am [feeding Birdie a vegetarian diet]. The day that Birdie asks me to try meat, I won’t deny it to her.”
Brie doesn’t want to “push” her beliefs onto her daughter, and will let her make her own decisions when she gets older.
She added: “I’ll always let her know the things I believe in and why, but I’ll never push them on her. I was blessed to be raised in a family where they didn’t push a lot of stuff on me.
“I was able to find who I am today and I want Birdie to have that. I’ll educate her on why I live the lifestyle I do, but if she asks for it one day I won’t make her feel bad about it and I’ll let her try it for sure.”

Rose McGowan: MeToo is important

OHMYGOSSIP — Rose McGowan insists #MeToo is “important”.
The 45-year-old actress caused a stir over the weekend when she seemingly suggested the movement – where women shared their experiences of being victims of sexual misconduct – was “a lie” and “bulls**t” but she insists her comments have been misconstrued.
Rose – who was one of the first to speak out against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein – insisted her comments were aimed at Hollywood figures and the Time’s Up campaign, which aims to bring an end to sexual misconduct.
She tweeted: “I never said #MeToo is a lie. Ever. I was talking about Hollywood and Time’s Up, not #MeToo. Ugh.
“I’m so tired of erroneous s**tstorms. #MeToo is about survivors and their experiences, that cannot be taken away.” (sic)
The ‘Charmed’ actress also included a video of herself talking which she captioned: “A little video for clarification.”
She said in the clip: “I’m just here to say that MeToo is important, it’s honest and it’s our experience, it is not a lie.”
The 45-year-old actress had previously slammed the “losers” behind the anti-harassment initiatives and hit out at the fact she hadn’t been “supported” by other women.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper: “I just think they’re douchebags.
“They’re not champions. I just think they’re losers. I don’t like them. How do I explain the fact that I got a GQ Man of the Year award and no women’s magazines and no women’s organisations have supported me? It’s all b******t.
“It’s a lie. It’s a Band-Aid lie to make them feel better. I know these people, I know they’re lily-livered, and as long as it looks good on the surface, to them, that’s enough.”
Despite her stance on the movement, Rose said earlier this year that a “new chapter” had begun now that Weinstein had been indicted on two sets of rape charges and a sex crime charge.
She said at the time: “INDICTED. FINALLY. I’ve been indicted by the media he’s bought out for years to trash me. Now it is a new chapter for both of us (sic)”

Kerry Washington learns from her kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Washington’s children are her “teachers”.
The ‘Scandal’ actress – who has Isabelle, four, and Caleb, two, with husband Nnamdi Asomugha – believes it is her job to “grow and evolve” into being the right sort of parent to fit with the needs of her kids and is constantly “challenging” herself to support them.
She said: “My children are my teachers.
“There’s a writer that I love, Dr. Shefali Tsabary. She writes about conscious parenting, and her paradigm is that we think about it all wrong. We think children come into the world and it’s our job to mould them and create them and teach them who to be so that they can be the best version of themselves, but it’s actually completely upside down.
“We get sent by God the kids we need so we can grow in order to be the parents they need us to be. The children I got sent came in perfect, and I have to figure out how to grow and evolve so that I can support the truth of them.
“I’m in a constant state of learning and challenging myself to make room for their perfection and beauty.”
The 41-year-old actress loves quiet days at home with her family when she isn’t working.
Speaking to the new issue of America’s Marie Claire magazine, she said: “I love being with my family. My days off look like homework, reading and watching stuff. Just hanging out, doing things we love to do.”
Kerry is notoriously private about her personal life and she admitted it stems from wanting to feel “safe”.
The ‘Last King of Scotland’ star recalled how unsettled she felt after her first encounter with a fan because she initially didn’t realise it was someone she didn’t know.
She said: “The first time somebody recognised me on the street, they were like, ‘Kerry.’ And I was like, ‘Hey,’ because I assumed it was maybe somebody I went to college with.
“This was after ‘Save the Last Dance’. And I hugged them because I assumed I knew them, and they were like, ‘I’m such a huge fan.’ And I felt so unsafe.
“I was like, ‘Oh, I’m now in a situation where I have no boundaries with this person, and I have no idea who they are, and I can’t do this anymore.’
“It was the beginning of me learning to hold the world at arm’s length just for my own sense of safety.”
