OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon will never have cosmetic surgery because she is “scared” of dying while she is under the knife.
The 29-year-old singer doesn’t see the point of having an op if she doesn’t require one for medical reasons, and after being recommended Botox and other procedures before, the ‘Loose Women’ panellist believes the cosmetic surgery industry is too “pushy” nowadays.
She said: “Personally, I’m scared of death, so any scenario where I have to be put under, or have an operation that I don’t need, I would hate.
“It would be nice if the cosmetic surgery industry wasn’t so pushy.
“I’ve been told I need certain things, and that I should get Botox before I get too wrinkly. I think that’s dangerous. It’s making people feel so low about themselves that they feel they have to have it done, rather than it being a choice they’ve made on their own.”
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’ winner has been outspoken about suffering from anxiety in the past, and says she has learned to champion her worries by accepting it is a part of her.
She said: “There have been periods when I’ve been like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t get rid of it,’ and it keeps coming back. At the moment, it’s really good.
“I still get those random days, but getting to the point where I’ve stopped fighting against it has made a big difference.
“I spent years thinking, ‘I’ve got to get rid of this. What’s wrong with me?’ And then my doctor said, ‘Why are you trying to get rid of something that’s a part of you?’ Not only do I have to accept my exterior, I have to accept my interior.”
Stacey – who has children Zachary, 10, and six-year-old Leighton, from previous relationships – has been dating former ‘EastEnders’ actor Joe Swash since 2016, and while she is keen to marry him one day, she would like more kids first.
She added to new! magazine: “I always want the day, but I don’t know. Joe and I have both spoken about it and neither of us are headstrong about having that marriage contract … And when we’ve got through life and fed our children and they’re independent, that’s when I would think, ‘Should we get married?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Simons will reunite with former ‘EastEnders’ co-star Charlie Clements in a new play.
The 41-year-old actress and the 31-year-old star have joined the cast of ‘The House on Cold Hill’, which is based on the novel of the same name by Peter James, whose real-life haunted house experiences inspired the 2015 best-selling book.
She will play Caro Harcourt opposite Joe McFadden, who will portray her on-screen husband Ollie, while Charlie – who played Bradley Branning in ‘EastEnders’ – will take on the role of Chris, and former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress Persephone Swales-Dawson will make her professional stage debut as Jade.
Rita – who was Roxy Mitchell on the BBC One soap – said: “I am really thrilled to be starring in the ‘House on Cold Hill’ alongside such great actors as Joe, Charlie, Persephone and the rest the cast.
“I could not put it down when I first read the script – it’s a brilliant and modern day supernatural thriller that had me totally gripped and occasionally jumping out of my seat!
“I can’t wait to see audiences hopefully have the same reaction to it, in theatres around the UK.”
Joe added: “It’s a real honour to be entrusted with the character of Ollie and the words of skilled wordsmith, Peter James.
“He’s created a story that is both chilling and an interesting portrayal of modern family life and will definitely make you think twice about buying that sprawling dream pad in the country!”
The production will see the Harcourt family, Ollie Caro and Jade, move into the house of their dreams which has been empty for the last 40 years.
However, they soon come to realise they are not the only residents on Cold Hill.
‘The House on Cold Hill’ will tour the UK from January 23, 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa was “the most confident she’s ever felt” in the video for latest single ‘Electricity’.
In the promo, the 23-year-old singer is seen dancing around a New York City loft apartment during the Northeast power blackout of 2003 wearing just a cropped white t-shirt and red hot pants, and although she wasn’t wearing many clothes Dua “didn’t care what she looked like”.
Speaking on the Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, she said: “It was probably the most confident I’ve ever felt. It was one of those where I was in a room of so many people, and for once, I didn’t care what I looked like or what I was doing or how I was dancing.
“I was just kind of moving and going crazy and feeling it just for what it was, it was just really refreshing to be able to do that.
“There were some parts which was choreographed, but all the jumping and the dancing, everybody was like, ‘Just go for it, just do whatever you want,’ and I think that feeling of not holding back was really important for me to get to experience that.”
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker has been busy working hard on her second album, and she admits that although her new project will have the same pop vibes as her self-titled debut, her new record is more experimental in places.
She spilled: “I’ve been writing quite a bit, and I feel really good about it.
“It feels like a good step into new territory. It’s still pop because that’s what I love and I find my home there, but it’s different sounds and has some like nostalgic feels and a bit experimental.”
Dua previously revealed that she has been listening to Prince and Outkast for inspiration for her follow-up LP, as well as her favourite girl bands such as the Spice Girls and the Pussycat Dolls.
She said: “It’s been really exciting so far and the process has been a lot easier than the first album because I know a lot more what I want from this album. When I was growing up I loved the Spice Girls obviously. I love Pussycat Dolls. I think Haim are amazing. And, oh my gosh, Destiny’s Child.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Hook thinks the medication Ian Curtis was taking was “guaranteed to kill him”.
Bassist Hook was in iconic indie band Joy Division with his late friend Ian and he is now not shocked that the singer killed himself at the age of just 23 in 1980 because the treatment he was offered for his epilepsy and depression at the time was “almost barbaric”.
In an interview with NME, Hook said: “When you start looking at the burdens he was carrying back then, it’s no wonder that they dragged him down. Back then the treatment for epilepsy was almost barbaric.
“The tablets he was taking were analysed in 2014 by modern day experts and they said that they were guaranteed to kill him.”
The former New Order member has now dedicated his time to spreading awareness of mental health issues in men – suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 40 – and Hook currently works with a charity called CALM who spread awareness of the subject and encourage men to speak out.
Speaking about his charity work, the 62-year-old musician said: “The treatment has changed and society has changed, I do feel that people are more empathetic and open to education in those things. We’re looking at mental health in a positive way now so that people don’t have to go through what he went through. A bunch of idiots like us can even be educated. We were unaware of what Ian was going through. That, as an old bloke, is the most shocking aspect of it – how unprepared and uneducated we as his friends were. Any education and any communication about things like this towards avoiding what happened to Ian is the most important thing. The hardest thing in the world is knowing what people are going through. I’m an alcoholic and a drug addict, and coming to terms with something like that helps you understand it more.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paddy and Christine McGuinness are to film a documentary about autism.
The couple have a personal interest in the developmental disorder because their five-year-old twins Leo and Penelope are autistic, but she has rubbished speculation they are shooting a reality show, admitting the camera crew would be “too upsetting” for the couple’s kids.
She said: “We are doing something together, a documentary and it is about autism. But there is no way a camera crew would work, it would be too upsetting.
“We can’t even have family over, but we are doing a documentary. We want to explore autism and how it manifests.
“We avoid going shopping with the children. I’ve tried taking them with ear defenders, and while that helped, I wasn’t prepared for the amount of stares we got. I didn’t know at the time they had autism, I just thought they didn’t like the noise. Now we can go but it’s not a nice experience.”
Christine – who also has two-year-old daughter Felicity, who is also showing signs of autism, with the comedian – says Paddy is an “absolutely amazing” father, after he initially “struggled”.
Speaking on a special edition of ‘Loose Women’ for autism awareness, she added: “I have to say he’s amazing, too. I find it easy with the children, yes it’s challenging but I just managed it, but he struggled.
“He’s so good but he has to be because he loves the children. But just getting his head around the fact we’ve got three children with a lifelong condition that we knew nothing about.
“Nothing can prepare you for that, you have to learn on the job. He’s doing absolutely amazing.
“He only spoke about it recently. I think it’s harder for dads and men.
“We’ve always stayed so private anyway. We have a completely different world at home than when we’re doing what we’re doing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Claude Littner has “never” made an impulse purchase.
The 69-year-old star – Lord Alan Sugar’s aide on business reality show ‘The Apprentice’ – claims he is so careful with how he spends his money that he hasn’t ever been tempted to splash out on something he wants on a whim.
The former Tottenham Hotspur chief executive said: “I never make impulse purchases. There’s nothing I need. I make impulse investments.
“I invest in shares or businesses, or in people where I think I have some appropriate knowledge and take a punt on it – and most of them have been successful. I’m very careful with what I do.”
Claude is so cautious with his finances he insists there is “nothing” in life he wants to buy for himself, but is quite happy to splash cash on his kids and grandchildren.
He said: “There’s nothing I want to spend my money on. I’m keen to provide for my children and grandchildren but there’s nothing I want to buy.
“I take a long time to study the various opportunities, interest rates, markets and risks and I regard that as an interesting challenge. I enjoy it. It’s part of what I regard as my responsibility, which is to preserve my wealth and do good along the way. In society today, there are lots of people who want things they can’t afford and buy things on credit cards.
“The most common mistake is people overstretch themselves. It’s one of the ills of society that people are allowed to get into debt with things like payday loans, and my heart bleeds for people who have got themselves into a mess and don’t know how to get out of it.”
While Claude is unfazed by fortune, he has always been a passionate businessman, even in his early years when he used to buy sweets and sell them on to his pals for a profit.
He added to Metro newspaper: “I used to buy a quantity of gobstoppers for a halfpenny and sell them to my friends for a penny.
“Then I’d have a stamp club with my friend. We’d collect stamps, put them in a book and sell them to friends for a profit, so I’ve always liked business. I put the money in a bank account and I enjoyed seeing the interest grow.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Leah Bracknell has been told her cancer is “stable” – which is the most positive news she has received in “almost a year”.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer two years ago, and while she hasn’t had much to shout about in the last 24 months, she has “hope” after receiving her latest results from a medical trial she recently signed up to in an attempt to defeat the disease.
She said: “I have just celebrated the second anniversary of the day I almost died. But I didn’t.
“I have also just passed the two-year mark from the day on which I received a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer.
“And last week, the long-awaited scan results from the first phase of the trial I am on, have come back with the encouraging news that, currently, the cancer is stable.
“The celebration is muted, one of relief rather than champagne and fireworks. But it is without doubt the most positive news to come my way in almost a year.
“So what does this mean? Quite simply it means Hope. It means that I can remain on the trial for now, until the next scan is performed in six weeks’ time, and the cycle of anxiety once again cranks into motion and I brace myself for the frightening possibility of the tug of the rug from beneath my feet. (sic)”
Leah – who played Zoe Tate in the ITV soap from 1989 to 2005 – was given an average survival time of eight months when she was first diagnosed with cancer, and now says she is a “cancer thriver” rather than a “survivor”.
Writing on her blog, Something Beginning with C, she added: “The writing on the wall two years ago was very different given that the statistics, as out of date as they are for stage 4 lung cancer, predict a frighteningly brief median survival time of 8 months.
“When one’s mere existence, the taking of another breath and the walking of another step are such substantial achievements the sense of gratitude is overwhelming and I thank not only all of those who have played a part in my healing journey, but my very lucky stars on high.
“How have I managed to surpass my expiry date? Am I a survivor? No, I am much more than that, I am a cancer thriver. Survival relates to statistics and time. Thriving is all about quality of life. (sic)”

The 32-year-old singer is known for her extravagant make-up looks and garish hairstyles, and her beauty team – Frederic Aspiras and Sarah Tanno – have revealed that the pop superstar is particularly opinionated about what she wants.
Speaking to ELLE magazine, Sarah said: “She always has this very strong vision and very strong opinion about what she wants. A lot of times, it starts with the clothes.”
The singer’s beauty team confer with each other before presenting anything to the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker and use films and books as their inspiration for the musician’s looks, days prior to an event.
Sarah said: “We look at films or books and tell each other what we’re inspired by. It’s never like Freddie and I walk in on the day of the job and we’re like ‘this is what we’re doing, Gaga’ It’s never like that.”
Sarah and the team insist that one of the most important style moments of Gaga’s career was when she walked the red carpet for the first premiere of her acclaimed film ‘A Star Is Born’ at the Venice Film Festival – at which she wore a stunning Valentino pink feather gown that warranted a pulled-back, classic beauty look.

The 29-year-old presenter has released a 38-piece range with the retailer priced between £1.50 and £30 with sizes for all women, ranging from a size 4 to a size 24.
The collection will hit stores on Thursday (11.10.18) and includes a range of accessories and shoes from transparent party heels to a Gucci-inspired clutch bag.
The line boasts glitzy party dresses, vibrant jumpers, statement tees, stylish office to evening wear, leopard print skirts bags and dresses and bright bold jumpsuits.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist specifically aimed to create a range to flatter all shapes and sizes, and at the heart of the collection is Stacey’s passion for spreading body positivity.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West says that Kanye West will be meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House next week to discuss some “exciting things” the pair “have been planning”.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is proud to be able to say that her husband of four years is going to the White House next week to talk with the president and she has been giving him advice on how to best get his point across.
Speaking to TV show ‘Extra’ at the Tiffany & Co. launch of the 2018 Tiffany Blue Book collection in New York City, Kim said: “I try to (give Kanye advice), I will try to help him communicate. I always say he isn’t the best communicator, but he has the best heart. I know what he wants to accomplish … and I can’t wait to see that happen.”
Teasing the topic of conversation, the curvaceous beauty spilled the pair will be discussing the “city of Chicago and some exciting things that I feel like they have been planning, and I really hope the president listens”.
Kim has previously met with President Trump and convinced him to pardon 63-year-old Alice Marie Johnson – who had received a life sentence following a 1996 conviction for a non-violent, first-time drug offence, in which her only role was answering phones. She had served 22 years behind bars.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams’ daughter will be a bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
Buckingham Palace has announced that Robbie’s six-year-old daughter Theodora Williams – whose mother is Ayda Field – is among the wedding party when the British royal ties the knot with her fiancé Jack Brooksbank this Friday (12.10.18) at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Prince William and Duchess Catherine’s children, five-year-old Prince George and three-year-old Princess Charlotte, will act pageboy and bridesmaid.
The bride’s sister, Princess Beatrice,30, has been confirmed as the maid of honour, while Jack’s brother Thomas Brooksbank will act as best man.
Other bridesmaids include Savannah, seven, and Isla, six, the daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips, four-year-old Mia Tindall, the daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, and Maud Windsor, five, the daughter of Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor who is also Princess Eugenie’s goddaughter.
Meanwhile, six-year-old Louis de Givenchy, the son of Zoe and Olivier de Givenchy will be the other pageboy.
The entire day is set to cost a reputed £2 million and will include a fanfare – specifically written for the day – by State Trumpeters and music from Scottish pipers as the couple travel through Windsor.
Robbie and Ayda, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, and George and Amal Clooney are set to be among the guests, whilst around 1,200 members of the public were selected by a ballot after 100,000 applied for a place in the castle grounds.
Andrea Bocelli and members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at the ostentatious event, and following the vows the guests will get to eat a £1,000 red velvet and chocolate cake – which was described by Kensington Palace as being “a traditional cake, with a modern feel” – following the wedding breakfast.

OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa McCarthy spent her 13th wedding anniversary with Richard E. Grant.
The 48-year-old actress and her husband, ‘Enough Said’ actor Ben Falcone, marked the special occasion on October 8 but rather than have a romantic meal for two they had a dinner party at their home with her ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ co-star Richard and some other friends.
Appearing on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (10.10.18), Melissa said: “We had a very romantic evening at our house with Richard E. Grant, we had friends over. He was like ‘Wait, is this your anniversary?’ And I’m like ‘Yes, you’re the gift.’ ”
Melissa also got her 45-year-old spouse Ben – who she has been in a relationship with for 20 years in total – a comedy gift.
She added: “[I got him] the phone for senior citizens, it has huge buttons, it’s fantastic.”
Ben took the more traditional approach and bought her two beautiful rings to wear.

The 21-year-old pop star has recently been supporting Taylor on her Reputation Tour, and Camila has heaped praise on the blonde beauty following her record-breaking night at the American Music Awards (AMAs) in Los Angeles on Tuesday (09.10.18).
Speaking after Taylor broke the all-time record for the most AMAs won by a female artist, Camila shared: “I’ve been a Taylor Swift fan all my life. I was so excited to be on the Reputation Tour and I’m so lucky to get to know her as an amazing friend.”
Camila was able to see Taylor in the crowd during her own performance at the AMAs.
And she thinks the ‘Gorgeous’ hitmaker deserves all of her success.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I look up to her so much and I’m so lucky to have her as a friend. I love her.”
Camila also enjoyed a successful night in Los Angeles, winning four awards in total.
But the brunette beauty wasn’t able to enjoy her individual success until after her performance.
She explained: “It’s crazy. I have a hard time processing all of it, but I just feel super grateful and, you know, I can’t believe it. I really can’t.

OHMYGOSSIP — Montel Williams feels “blessed to be alive”.
The 62-year-old TV star suffered a life-threatening stroke in May, and having come through a 21-day spell in an intensive care unit, Montel has insisted he’ll no longer takes anything for granted.
Montel – who suffered a cerebellar hemorrhagic stroke, which either kills or causes severe neurologic deficits in 50 percent of patients – told People: “I’m very lucky. When it happened, I didn’t realise the veracity of what this was. When you start thinking about it those statistics? That’s harsh reality. … I’m so blessed to be alive and I’m not taking it for granted.”
Montel actually suffered the stroke during his regular exercise routine.
The Emmy-winning star can still vividly remember what he thought was a loud noise coming from behind him as he was working out.
He recalled: “I knew there was nobody there and so I looked to my left. And as my eyes came back around, the whole room started to kaleidoscope and I got hit with the wave of tired.
“I threw the weight down and said to myself, ‘You just had a stroke.'”
The sound Montel actually heard was caused by a burst blood vessel and he immediately knew he needed to act fast in order to save his own life.
He shared: “I said, ‘I’m not dying in this gym alone.’
“I wanted to lay down to rest but I kept saying, ‘You can’t lay down’ because I remembered that’s what people die from.”
Montel managed to alert his wife Tara and he urged her to call for an ambulance immediately.
He told her: “Call the ambulance and tell them I just had a stroke. Tell them your husband had a stroke.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea has been looking for her TV remote for the last three days.
The Australian rap star has taken to her Twitter account to reveal her frustration and to ask her followers for some help in finding the remote.
Iggy wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “The remote has been missing for 3 days now. Help. (sic)”
Iggy, 28, has become well-known over recent years for giving her followers a behind-the-scenes insight into her life through social media.
But the blonde beauty recently admitted that some aspects of being so candid with her fans can be “unfortunate”.
She said: “Twitter is unfortunate, social media is unfortunate because it freezes that in time for us.
“In some ways, that’s good. You can look back and self reflect and say, ‘Geez, I’ve come a long way, that’s good.’ The silver lining is that you can look at that and be like, ‘Never again.’
“But I don’t really sit around thinking, ‘If only I could delete that one thing.’ You know, you’ve gotta move forward and have personal growth. I don’t really think much about that.”
Meanwhile, Iggy has also admitted that the landscape of rap music has changed markedly since she launched her breakthrough hit ‘Fancy’ in 2014.
But the chart-topper has made a conscious effort to adapt while still trying to remain “original”.
She explained: “I watch what is going on, because it’s important – no matter what it is you’re doing, if you’re rapping or working in an office – it’s important to keep an eye on what is happening around you. So I watch what’s going on and what people like, but I never want to try to copy that. I still want to be original and have a sound that’s true to me.
“So for me, I listen to what’s happening or what’s changing sonically, and then I just try to incorporate something that’s organic to me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner has reportedly started dating again.
The 46-year-old actress divorced fellow Hollywood star Ben Affleck in 2017 and while she’s recently been supporting her ex-husband through his stint in rehab, Jennifer now feels ready to start dating other people once again.
A source shared: “Jen has been wanting to move on and now when the divorce is finalised, she finally can.”
Jennifer and Ben have three kids – Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six – together.
But the actress has, until recently, delayed her return to the dating pool after Ben entered rehab for alcohol addiction.
The source told People: “Jen doesn’t want to be single for the rest of her life, so she is open to dating.
“She has been on dates, but it seems she isn’t serious about a guy. As always, she is mostly focused on her kids and her job.”
Meanwhile, Ben is reported to have recently split from his model girlfriend Shauna Sexton.
The high-profile duo have apparently decided to go their separate ways after less than two months of dating, although an insider has played down the significance of their split.
The source said: “There was nothing to split from as it has been casual.”

The insider added: “He enjoyed being with her but is working on himself, and being together with her at this time is not something that works.
