TV on the Radio is an American art rock band formed in 2001 in Brooklyn, New York, whose music spans numerous diverse genres, from post-punk to electro and free jazz to soul music.

The group has released several EPs including their debut Young Liars (2003), and four critically acclaimed studio albums: Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes (2004), Return to Cookie Mountain (2006), Dear Science (2008), and Nine Types of Light (2011).

TV on the Radio is composed of Tunde Adebimpe (vocals/loops), David Andrew Sitek (guitars/keyboards/loops) and Kyp Malone (vocals/guitars/bass/loops). For “Return to Cookie Mountain”, they added Jaleel Bunton (drums/vocals/loops/guitars) and Gerard Smith (bass/keyboards) as official members. Smith died from cancer on April 20, 2011.

Other contributors have included David Bowie (vocals), Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs (guitar), Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead (vocals), Martin Perna of Antibalas (saxophones, flute) and Katrina Ford of Celebration (vocals).

She is the daughter of producer Lenny Waronker and actress/musician Donna Loren, the sister of session drummer Joey Waronker, and is married to Steven Shane McDonald of Redd Kross.

Coheed and Cambria is an American rock band from Nyack, New York. Formed in 1995, the group incorporates aspects of progressive rock, punk rock, metal and post-hardcore.

All of Coheed and Cambria’s albums are concept albums that reveal a science fiction storyline called The Amory Wars, a story written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books, as well as a full length novel. The band has released five studio albums, three live albums, and several special-edition releases. In 2008, the band held a four-day concert series, Neverender, during which they played their first four studio albums in succession. Their fifth studio album, Year of the Black Rainbow, which is a prequel to the series, was released on April 13, 2010.

Josh Duhamel’s charitable nature makes him more attractive to his wife Fergie.  The Black Eyed Peas singer told how proud she is of her spouse as he was awarded the Red Cross Spirit Award at the charity’s annual Red Tie Affair over the weekend in recognition of his work with the charity after the Haiti earthquake in 2010 and more recently helped raise $150,000 for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, with his Tokidoki relief run, which was held on Santa Monica beach, on March 27.
