OHMYGOSSIP — Tyra Banks’ mother told her to stop washing her face with her “dirty little hands”.
The 42-year-old American model has revealed her mother, Carolyn London-Johnson, has taught her everything she needed to know about skincare and cleansing,and the star has revealed the most vital beauty lesson she learnt was not to wash her face with her hands because her mother felt it would spread germs.
Speaking about her beauty tips to PEOPLE, she said: “I get it from my momma! I’m not talking about DNA or some sort of youth gene that passed down to me through the ages of my family. I’m talking about habits.
” I can hear my mom’s voice now, ‘Tyra, you better stop washing your face with just your dirty little hands! Don’t you know all you’re doing is spreading that dirt all over your face?’
“Why are there machines for dish-cleaning and drive-thru washes for cars, but I still have to cleanse my face without any help. Isn’t that just rubbing the dirt around? I need a real clean. A deep clean.”
And the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge – who launched her eponymous cosmetics range Tyra Beauty in 2014 – believes she “deserves” to wake up with a flawless complexion.
She said: “I deserve to wake up like this! I want my skin looking brand new — a smooth canvas for my make-up. A secret I can share with the world. And yeah, I want to glow without spending tons of dough. (I know that rhymes.”
Tyra launched Tyra Beauty Skincare on Tuesday (04.10.16), which includes a cleanser, serum, mask and microdermabrasion tool, has admitted she created the skincare range in a bid to do “good stuff” to peoples face in a “fun” way.
She explained: “I’m ready to make your skin regimen fun. I’m ready to make it delightful. And I’m ready to make this stuff do good stuff for your face.”

Alesha Dixon 'loves' to wear gold

OHMYGOSSIP — Alesha Dixon “loves” to wear gold garments.
The 37-year-old singer has revealed her favourite trend “at the moment” is anything metallic, and the star, who launched a new Autumn/Winter 2016 collection with the online retail brand Little Black Dress on Tuesday (04.10.16), has revealed her “favourite dress” in her Alesha Dixon x Little Black Dress is the gold liquid dress.
Speaking about her style, the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge – who first joined forces with the fashion house in October last year – said: ” I am loving gold at the moment, so if I had to pick my favourite dress from the collection, I would say it has to be the gold liquid dress as it is super comfy, really sexy and makes you feel party ready.”
Alesha’s collection will see £1 of profits go towards the domestic violence charity Refuge.
And the former Mis-Teeq band member – who made up one third of the girl group alongside Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash – has revealed she “loves” the fact her collaboration with the brand and buying a dress can help contribute to a worthy cause.
She explained: “I have supported many domestic violence charities and they are important to me. I love the fact that everyone has the ability to contribute and help in a small way and buying a dress is a fab way of doing it.”
Meanwhile the ‘Breathe Slow’ hitmaker has revealed she “usually” steams before making an appearance on the red carpet at star studded events, because it makes her flawless complexion “glow”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid is the new ambassador for Reebok.
The 21-year-old supermodel has been announced as the face of the sportswear giant’s Perfect Never campaign, which is a bid to encourage women to use physical activity as a way to momentarily “escape” from social pressures.
The catwalk icon – who was previously crowned the captain of Malibu high School’s varsity volleyball team in 2013 – has revealed fitness is the “only time” she can be at peace.
Speaking about fitness as part of the campaign, the blonde beauty said: “When I was a competitive athlete, I used to be so focused on being perfect that my coaches would take me out of competing all together. I’d focus on my mistakes which would breed more missteps – a domino effect. Until I learned to change the channel, to re-focus, re-set. It was my mistakes, my imperfections that motivated me most.”
And Gigi – who is currently dating ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker Zayn Malik – has revealed she is a strong believer in Reebok’s three prominent principles that exercise holds social, physical and mental benefits of fitness.
Gigi said: “Working out isn’t only physical for me. It’s mental. It helps me escape the noise in my head. It’s the only time my mind goes quiet.”

Alber Elbaz will release new fragrance Superstitious next year

OHMYGOSSIP — Alber Elbaz is set to release a new fragrance next year.
The 55-year-old fashion designer – who was part of the creative team at the fashion house Lanvin for 14 years after leaving the label last year – has joined forces with the French fragrance expert Frédéric Malle to launch a new scent called Superstitious.
Speaking about the upcoming beauty product at a ceremony in Paris, France, on Monday (03.10.16), he said: “The word ‘Superstitious’ was the starting point of it all, something we agreed upon immediately. We are both superstitious.”
However Alber has admitted he doesn’t consider his latest venture with Frédéric – who launched his eponymous perfume brand, which has been part of Estée Lauder for two years – as a “collaboration”, and has instead described the partnership as a “friendship and respect” between the two.
He added: “It’s not about a collaboration, it’s about friendship and respect.”
Alber also created the forthcoming beauty product with perfumer Dominique Ropion, who previously worked with Frédéric on his perfume collection called Editions de Parfums in 2000.
Meanwhile, Frédéric has admitted he has “always” admired the Morocco-born creative mastermind – who was made an Officier in the Légion D’Honneur in the French capital last night – because he makes his creations to suit women rather and is “not about himself.”
He said: “I have always admired Alber for making the women who wear his clothes appear even more beautiful. It is all about them and not about himself.
“Like perfume ‘classics’, Alber’s dresses are the result of an invisible architecture. Like Alber’s dresses, Superstitious elevates the women that wear it, it empowers them.”
And Frédéric Malle’s company have revealed they were honoured to celebrate Alber’s new titled and announce the news of their beauty product.
Alongside a picture of both males posted to Frédéric Malle Instagram, it read: “congratulations@alberelbaz8 – it is our honor to celebrate you today and announce to the world the impending new perfume#fredericmallealberelbaz (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner’s Smile lip kit “sold out” in two hours.
The 19-year-old ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star partnered with Smile Train organisation on her latest pink lip liner and lipstick duo and launched the beauty product on her e-store Kylie Cosmetics on Monday (03.10.16), which were snapped up on her e-store within minutes of going live.
The beauty mogul – who has built up her beauty empire over two years – announced the news via her company’s Instagram account.
She wrote: “Smile is sold out! Thank you to everyone who purchased SMILE today. This means so much to so many children, mothers and families around the world!! So many children’s lives will be changed for the better as a result of the cleft surgeries the proceeds from Smile will help provide! I can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces :)@smiletrain (sic).”
Kylie unveiled the new lip kit on Monday at 11am Pacific Standard Time on Monday, which is 6pm in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and by 8pm (GMT) all Smile products had been purchased.
The television personality announced she had partnered with the charity organisation, which provides corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates, on Friday (30.09.16) and was going to give 100 per cent of profits made to Smile Train.
Speaking previously, she said: ” I’m very excited to reveal SMILE, a beautiful pale pink shade that I created in partnership with @smiletrainfor #WorldSmileDay 100% of net proceeds will go towards cleft surgery for children in the developing world and I will be presenting a check to them personally. Let’s do this October 3rd at 11am pst. @kyliecosmetics (sic).”
Meanwhile, Kylie has teased her make-up brand will be expanding further to include “four new fall Lip Kits” called Spice and Pumpkin, which will be available on the brand’s website on October 12, whilst the “other two” will be unveiled in due course.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Hart stole David Beckham’s “dirty biker boot”.
The 37-year-old actor – who stars alongside the former England football captain in H&M’s menswear campaigns – has admitted he “loves” nice footwear and has revealed the “only thing” he has ever taken from the sportsman is a pair of his chunky shoes.
The funnyman told The New York Times: “I also love a pair of very nice boots. I got a pair of Balenciaga boots.
“One thing I stole from David Beckham is the dirty biker boot. He does dirty biker boot right.”
Although the ‘Get Hard’ star helped himself to David’s shoe wardrobe, he has revealed he is more of a “sneakers guy” and is a big fan of luxury designer brands expensive footwear lines.
He explained: “I am a sneakers guy. I like simplicity. I’m very basic with my colours, too: black or white or the occasional burgundy. That’s true of my entire closet. If you go with the basic lane, you don’t ever have to throw clothes away.
“I’m all over the John Elliott shoe line. Saint Laurent also does a good job with sneakers. Gucci, the latest designs that are closer to the classic signature style, I love that. And Common Projects, the aesthetic is me.”
Meanwhile Kevin – who married his wife Eniko Parrish earlier this year – has revealed his fashion sense has changed since he has matured.
He said: “If you stay away from trends, you don’t have to keep changing with the Joneses. That’s something that happened with my style as I’ve gotten older. When you’re older, your style is a representation of where you are in life, your level of maturity.
“I consider myself a very mature man at this stage. The way I’m dressing and spending on clothes is just a smarter way.

Beyoncé will launch a concert retail app with Sidestep

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé is set to launch a concert retail app.
The 34-year-old singer songwriter has reportedly invested $150,000, which is almost the equivalent of £100,000, into her latest fashion venture with Sidestep, which will allow concert goers to purchase merchandise available at her shows via an app.
According to iTechpost.com the brunette beauty has invested into the technology via her company Parkwood Entertainment.
However, Beyoncé is not the only artist to have joined forces with the company as Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Fall Out Boy have also listed the help of Sidestep to sell their merchandise.
The app will see products for the ‘Lemonade’ hitmaker’s Formation World Tour, which ends on Friday (07.10.16), be available to purchase online before and after the show.
It has been reported shoppers will be able to pick-up their buys in designated spots at the various venues, and also request home delivery if they would prefer.
Sidestep’s CEO, Eric Jones, who invented the app, has revealed the idea stemmed from his former days as a musician during school and his struggle to make a profit from the industry and wanted to create a device to help musicians increase their income.
Speaking previously, the creator said: “What I experienced as an artist made me realize how many things were missing from the merchandise experience and how much data was not being collected, so SideStep was a no-brainer.”
Meanwhile, Beyoncé – who has four-year-old daughter Blue with her rapper husband Jay Z – ventured into the fashion industry earlier this year when she launched her athleisure line Ivy Park.
Beyoncé has since designed more pieces to her fashion range, which were added to her sportswear capsule last month.
And the former Destiny’s Child band member recently helped launched a vegan meal delivery service with 22 Day Nutrition, although she is not vegan.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Culpo had to apply her make-up in the bathroom sink.
The 24-year-old actress – who was crowned Miss USA in a beauty pageant in 2012 – has admitted she had to take “desperate measures” to get ready for a day watching fashion shows in Paris, France, on Monday (03.10.16), and sit in the basin, because the “only mirror” in her apartment was situated above the bathroom fixture.
The brunette beauty announced the news via social media, which saw her post a picture of her surrounded by beauty products sitting in the white sink looking into a mirror surrounded by lights.
The ‘The Other Woman’ actress captioned the upload on her Instagram account: “This morning in Paris: I had to do my own makeup and the only mirror was above the sink. Poor@justinemarjan had to do my hair standing on a stool.. Oh yeah and I was in the sink #DesperateTimes#Desperatemeasures #DONTFALL#justineisthebest (sic).”
The star also shared a video of her on her Instagram Story applying her make-up and getting her hair styled in the unusual setting.
Olivia captioned one brief clip of her perched in a sink full of cosmetic products “casual”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Hilfiger is “ten times better than any ring”, according to his wife Dee Ocleppo.
The 65-year-old fashion designer’s spouse – who married the entrepreneur in 2008 – has admitted she feared wearing her eight carat wedding ring “every day” when the pair first wed, and although she thinks the marital band is “fantastic”, Dee has admitted her partner is “better” than any piece of jewellery.
Speaking to the Mail Online about her partner – who launched his eponymous fashion house in 1985 – said: “When Tommy gave me this ring, my first thought was, ‘Oh my God, I cannot wear that every day!’ Now it’s become a part of me. I mean, we had it fitted so tight that someone would have to chop off my hand to get at it.
“But you know what, the ring is fantastic but the man is even better. The man is ten times better than any ring – he absolutely is. And I get the best of both worlds – I get the cake and I get the frosting and the decorations, too.”
Meanwhile the 46 year old – who met the fashion mogul whilst holidaying in Saint Tropez, France, in 2005 – has revealed Tommy was never on her “radar” and assumed the businessman was “gay”.
Speaking honestly about her first impressions of the silver fox, she said: “Although I’d heard of Tommy Hilfiger, and I think I’d worn his clothes, he wasn’t on my radar because in Monaco it’s mostly about European labels. And I assumed he would be gay.”
However, the blonde beauty soon changed her mind about the star when Tommy invited and her children out, and promised to cook “chicken fingers” for her family.
The former model said: “I explained there was no way I could go as I had children to babysit, so he invited them, too, and promised to make them chicken fingers. I was impressed by that.”

Riccardo Tisci's sisters inspired him to become a fashion designer

OHMYGOSSIP — Riccardo Tisci’s sisters inspired him to become a fashion designer.
The 42-year-old Italian creative mastermind has admitted he has only ever been “educated” by women, and during his youth growing up around a house full of females led him to discover a fascination with his siblings “transformation” for an evening out, and was interested in how they applied make-up, styled their hair and chose their ensembles.
Speaking to W magazine in about his influences, the fashion mogul said: ” I love women because I grew up with women. And I never met my father because he died when I was a child. And so, my daily life, my energy, my everything – I’ve been educated only by women. I had women around me – my mommy and my eight sisters. So I’m inspired by that because I know we all come from women. I’m very feminist in that way. I’m get very upset when all I see is the abuse of women or no respect of women.
“I’ve always consulted on how my sisters dress, yeah. I actually got into beauty and into creativity because I used to watch my sisters getting ready to go out and they were always very over the top. And I was interested in all of their metamorphoses, like putting make-up on, doing their hair, putting their clothes together. And it was interesting for me, the transformation.
And Riccardo – who is Givenchy’s artistic director after being with the luxury fashion house since 2005 – has revealed his love for designing began at a young age, and led him to create unique garments out of a “Victorian dress” for his friends.
Speaking about his first creation, he said: “I customized some very old clothes on my best friend, a woman. I put together a man’s shirt with a lace, Victorian dress. I was 13. I used to work in the clubs and I used to dress my friends in the costumes to come to the club.
“I have always been very independent. I started working when I was really a young kid, nine or 10, and I worked with the brother of my mom because I didn’t come from a very wealthy family.”
Meanwhile, Riccardo has admitted he used to have a “strong look” and wore gothic make-up because he was “obsessed” with the English rock band The Cure.
He explained: “I used to have a very strong look with long black hair. I was obsessed with The Cure, so I was making this very goth make-up. And I was making my clothes like out of very crazy stuff – with black capes, vinyls. It was always very Goth not so much fashion. And then, I was started discovering hip hop, like a more sexy music.”

Rihanna struggled to design her SS 17 Fenty x Puma collection for men

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna’s biggest “challenge” with her latest Fenty x Puma collection was designing for men.
The 28-year-old musician, who launched her second fashion range for the sportswear giant during Paris Fashion Week, which took place at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in the eight arrondissement in the French capital on Thursday (29.09.16), has revealed she struggled to create a collection suitable for males as well as females, although she has admitted she wears men’s clothes “all the time”.
Speaking about her latest Spring/Summer 2017 capsule, the brunette beauty – who was announced as the creative director of the sportswear giant in 2014 – said: ” The other challenge was having to design part of the collection for men. I ended up just going back to myself for that, because, you know, I wear men’s clothes all the time. So I thought to myself, ‘Just design what you like to wear.’
“I thought it would be a challenge, and it was! But I enjoyed it, and I hope that people do, too.”
And the ‘Work’ hitmaker has revealed her recent capsule was created with the late Queen of France Marie Antoinette’s gym attire in mind.
She explained: “I chose Paris because I wanted people to feel the entire tone of the new collection.
“I wanted them to feel like this is what Marie Antoinette might wear to the gym, or play tennis in. I imagined it like that, and I hope people receive it in a fun way.
“[It was] a very salon-style show–very French–and that idea was inspired by those old Christian Dior shows from back in the day, when he would show in a small room. When I went to the Dior headquarters and heard the story of how Christian Dior used to show in those small spaces, it stunned me, because Dior is such a huge brand.”
And Rihanna has described the fashion range, which included a satin pink corset, green playsuit, a pale rose-coloured floral zip-up romper and a pure white full-length mac in an array of natural earthy colours, as “super regal”.
She told Vogue.com: “It’s super-regal and a perfect mix of street- and sportswear.
“It was definitely a departure from the first collection; that collection had a much darker tone to it. To me, Spring should feel like something fresh, even though I’m not going to stop wearing black altogether. But I didn’t want it to be super-bubbly, so I kept it a bit street – everything was super-sporty and definitely highly influenced by 18th-century French culture. ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruby Rose is relieved her eyebrows have grown back.
The 30-year-old actress took to social media to share a throwback photo of her with a deep red bob and a blue streak of highlight and “no eyebrows” on her Instagram account, and is grateful her facial feature have returned to a fuller size.
Alongside the image, the ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star wrote: “Umm how do you guys find these #TBT to… Well.. Barely any tattoos and a very prominent blue streak of hair and no eyebrows thank god they grew back!! (sic).” And the Melbourne-born star has revealed she loves a carefully sculpted eyebrow, and appreciates a bushy brow after she had some disastrous experimentation when she was younger.
Speaking previously, she said: “I like a strong brow for my androgynous side. When I was growing up, I’d buy British magazines and when I was obsessed with East 17, I shaved slits in my brows. Thankfully, some eyebrow God gave me my brows back.”
Ruby has also acquired a number of tattoos and ensures she moisturises the body art regularly to keep them looking their best.
She explained: “My tattoos definitely look better when I moisturise, it really makes them pop.
“I use The Renewal Oil from Crème de la Mer to hydrate my entire body.”
Meanwhile the Australian model – who won the Woman of the Year Award after being nominated by GQ Australia in 2015 – has come a long way with her beauty, and has acquired over 100 lipsticks because she loves to experiment with different make-up looks.
She said: “I used to have 10 lipsticks, one for a sporty day, one for lunch with girlfriends, one for DJing… I wasn’t thinking outside the box. Now I have 100!
“It’s like ‘The Hunger Games’ inside that box, all fighting to be my colour for the day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Macpherson spends 45 minutes on exercise “each morning”.
The 52-year-old Australian model – who was nicknamed The Body by Time Magazine – has revealed she feels her “best” when she starts the day with a work out, because it makes her feel she has “accomplished” something.
Speaking to Net-A-Porter’s The Edit magazine about her workout regime, she said: “I feel my best when I spend 45 minutes each morning doing some sport; I run, do yoga, go paddle boarding or hiking. Once I’m outdoors, breathing the fresh air, I feel like I’ve accomplished something.”
However, the former ‘Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model’ host has revealed her “Amazonian body” wasn’t “fashionable” when she emerged on the fashion scene in the 80s, and left her feeling insecure about her shape, although she felt more “confident” when she stripped down to her swimwear.
She explained: “I started modelling at a time in the ’80s when it wasn’t fashionable to have an Amazonian body. I was the tallest girl in the business, with broad shoulders and long legs. I didn’t know much about fashion so I wasn’t confident that I was suited to the industry. The only thing I was confident in was my ability to wear a bathing suit, because I grew up on the beach in Australia – it felt like my natural habitat.”
Meanwhile Elle, who launched her lingerie brand Elle Macpherson Intimates in 1990 and has another underwear collection Elle Macpherson Body, has revealed she designs the saucy lingerie for her stepdaughters.
Elle – who is married to Jeffrey Soffer but has two biological children, Arpad, 18, and Aurelius Busson, 13, from her previous relationship with her former partner Arpad Busson – explained: “I think women are defined by their attitude rather than their age these days, so my lingerie designs are for myself but also for my 16 and 18-year-old stepdaughters. I wanted to make something that would flatter women’s bodies, that when you put it on you think, ‘My body looks great in this and I feel really confident and comfortable.’ For me, that’s a more considered, evolved kind of sexy.”
