OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Roberts told her aunt Julia Roberts to wear the “skunk dress” to the Oscars in 2001.
The 26-year-old actress assisted her 49-year-old relative in choosing the best outfit to wear to the star studded event 16 years ago, which saw her crowned the Best Actress for her role in ‘Erin Brockovich’, although the ‘Scream Queen’ star likened the monochrome ensemble to a four-legged mammal.
Speaking about the style advice at the star studded ceremony, which took place at the Dolby theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17) to E! News, the flame-haired beauty said: “I remember when my aunt was trying on dresses the year she was nominated and won.
“The dress she wore – I said, ‘You should wear the skunk dress,’ and she ended up winning in it.”
And the star, who adorned a vintage Giorgio Armani monochrome dress from the creative mastermind’s 2005 collection to this year’s ceremony, is grateful she made an “ethical fashion statement” at the prestigious bash by wearing an existing piece.
She said: “I’m honoured to partner with Red Carpet Green Dress and wear one of Giorgio Armani’s vintage gowns. I’m equally thankful to not just bring an ethical fashion statement to the Oscars, but to generate productive conversation that affects positive change to the world around us. It’s all for a good cause!”
And British make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury continued on the same vein with Emma’s beauty look as she wanted to achieve an “old Hollywood meets fresh, glowing glamour” style with red lipstick and a gold covered eyelid.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston wore over $10 million worth of diamonds to the 89th Academy Awards.
The 48-year-old actress adorned an array of sparkly accessories to the star studded bash, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17), and added the extra glamour with custom-made Lorraine Scwartz 100 carat diamond earrings, which were worth $9,500,000, and a matching 20 carat Golconda diamond ring worth $1,200,000.
The details of the former ‘Friends’ star – who is known for playing the role of Rachel Green in the popular American series – was declared by the jewellery designer on social media.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Negga’s 2017 Oscars head piece featured almost 150 carats of Gemfields Mozambican rubies.
The 35-year-old actress – who was nominated for Best Actress for her role in ‘Loving’ at the 2017 Oscars – adorned Irene Neuwirth’s show-stopping bejewelled accessory made from responsibly sourced gems to co-ordinate with her rouge lace floor-length Valentino gown at the star studded bash on Sunday (26.02.17).
And the item was specially designed for the brunette beauty by stylist Karla Welch, designer Irene and Gemfields, who joined forces to hand pick the precious stones used, their sizes and to create the delicate piece.
Ruth matched the hair band with an over 40 carat earrings, which included 37.18 carats of the exclusive red gems and 3.26 carats of diamonds, whilst her ring was made of 14.89 carat rubies encased in a white diamond pavé, which was set in blackened white gold.
And the creative mastermind has admitted it was “an incredible honour” for her to come up with the pieces for the Hollywood star.
She said: “It was an incredible honour to design these pieces for Ruth and Gemfields. Ruth has impeccable style and I was absolutely delighted to work with Karla to create such an amazing moment. It’s an experience I will never forget.”
And the Californian creator has revealed her own earrings were the inspiration behind Ruth’s highly coveted jewellery.
Alongside a picture of Irene’s green earrings and Ruth’s, which she shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “The earrings I made for Ruth Negga, which she is wearing tonight are inspired by the earrings of mine (sic).”
However, the ‘Warcraft’ star’s pieces were “bigger and finer and more sparkly” than Irene’s.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev had to undergo “an extra long run” to fit into her dress ahead of the 89th Academy Awards.
The 28-year-old actress had to extend her workout regime prior to the star studded bash, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17), because she wanted to look flawless in her “revealing” gown.
The brunette beauty documented her preparation for the prestigious bash on Vanity Fair’s Instagram Story that lasts for 24 hours on the photo-sharing site, which revealed all the details about her work-out, pampering session and lunch before the styling took place.
Speaking in a string of short clips, she said: “And we’re in. Hey guys happy Oscar Sunday. Step one got to get that blood flowing and get them endorphins at the gym.
“Between me and all of you guys, my dress tonight is quiet revealing, so I am going to have to go on an extra long run today, but shh don’t tell anybody.”
And she captioned the video: “I trust that that you guys can keep a secret.
“No pain. no gain (sic).”
The ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star then panned to the statistics on her treadmill, which showed she had been using the equipment for over 30 minutes.

The 26-year-old actress accidentally trod on the 63-year-old French stars Armani Privé gown whilst the pair were on the red carpet at the prestigious event, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday (26.02.17), and she apologised profusely during an interview with ET Online.
Speaking about her wardrobe choice, which was interrupted when she stepped back onto Isabelle’s ensemble, the flame-haired beauty said: “This is Armani Privé. I’m actually here for Red Carpet Green Dress, which is… Oh my god! I’m so sorry!
“I can’t believe I stepped on her dress! I love her!”
Although the ‘Scream Queens’ star was in shock horror about the incident, she had to “shake it off” and forget about the mishap.
She continued: “It’s OK, it’s fine, just shake it off.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anais Gallagher and her dad Noel Gallagher “clash” over which shoe brand is the best.
The 17-year-old model, who was signed to Select Model Management at the age of just 12, is the face of sports brand Reebok and she admits her Oasis star father mocks her over her trainers because he’s an Adidas devotee.
Speaking about their sneaker spats in an interview with ES Magazine, she said: “It’s kind of funny because my dad’s inherently Adidas ­- it’s the clash of the shoe brands!”
Although Anais and her dad Noel, 49, argue about trainers they do share the same taste in music these days especially since she grew out of her boy band phase.
And the blonde starlet is a big fan of her dad’s solo albums and LPs with his former band Oasis – who were fronted by his younger brother Liam, Anais’ uncle.
Anais – whose mother is Noel’s ex-wife Meg Matthews – shared: “Now I have good taste in music. My taste is identical to my dad’s. I’m a diehard David Bowie fan. The 21-year-old model – who has graced the runway for luxury brands including Balmain, Fendi and Chanel – loves nothing more than undertaking a gruelling fitness session with her personal trainer Gunnar Peterson who “kills” her abs.
Speaking on her website kendallj.com about her preferred exercises, the brunette beauty said: “My abs are my favourite thing to work out.

The ‘Never Forget You’ hitmaker has teamed up with the high street retailer to create an exclusive capsule collection, which will be available in selected stores and online from May 18.
She said: “I’m so happy to be working with H&M on this collaboration. I’ve always loved the brand, they’re fun and accessible to all kinds of girls which are key elements for me, plus the team is so fun to work with! I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with you!”
The collection is described as a mix of edgy streetwear, glamorous stagewear and as well as a reflection of Zara’s own personal style.
The clothing brand is also promoting the 19-year-old singer’s latest album ‘So Good’ by playing tracks in their stores before the LP drops on March 17. And by pre-saving the album on H&M’s website, it will automatically appear in your Spotify library when it is released.
Meanwhile, Zara previously confessed she thought she would be a “way bigger” star than she is now.
She said: “When people ask me, ‘What would you do If I told you five years ago you would be here?’ My answer is, ‘Honestly, I thought I would be way bigger.’ I thought I would be selling out arenas by now.”
Zara has been busy working on her new album and is excited to start writing more of her songs too.

The 18-year-old actress turns to her relative Mary Jane for tips on skincare and what cosmetic products to use on her “seriously sensitive skin”, because her grandparent always wears a full face of make-up even when she is doing mundane chores.
Speaking about her beauty secrets, the blonde beauty said: “My grandmother, Mary Jane, who lives with me and my parents, is who I go to for beauty advice. She doesn’t even put the bins out without her full make-up on, and still covers her body in talcum powder every single night.”
Although the ‘The Neon Demon’ star has revealed she admires Mary Jane and is warmed by the amount of effort she puts into her daily regime, she believes it is “good” to have a make-up free week every now and again, although she thinks it isn’t as easy to do.

The 19-year-old star can’t wait to release her six shimmery shadows – called Kylighters – as part of her Kylie Cosmetics brand, which she launched in 2016, on February 28 because she’s worked “extra hard” on them to ensure they’re perfect.
Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday (22.02.17), she wrote: “Can’t hold it in any longer .. My HIGHLIGHTERS launch in 6 DAYS!!! The 39-year-old rapper – who has three-year-old daughter North and Saint, 14 months with wife Kim Kardashian West – launched his DONDA creative content company in 2012 and the designer is now hoping to release a range consisting of make-up, perfume, lotions and more, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.
The ‘Famous’ rapper, who named his brand after his late mother Donda West, who passed away in 2007, previously announced he would also like to launch a full lifestyle brand, completely with “holograms”.
In the meantime, Kanye has been working on a new children’s fashion range with his ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star wife.
The 36-year-old beauty showcased a few of the garments from the capsule, which was modelled by their three-year-old child North, on social media.
The raven-haired beauty posted a string of short videos of her daughter in a yellow sequin dress, which was paired with a shearling coat, white socks and black trainers, on her Snapchat.
Speaking in the clip Kim said: “Let me see this outfit you have on. Do you see this Yeezy jacket? Is that a Yeezy yellow shearling?
“Daddy and mummy are doing a kids line and these are some of the pieces. Northie picked out the colours and the fabric.”

The 35-year-old radio and television presenter has revealed she will be launching the temporary store on March 3 at River Island’s Style Studio in London’s Marble Arch, with garments including Matthew Williamson archive as well as her “own wardrobe” staples up for sale, and all proceedings going to wards Save the Children charity.
The blonde beauty – who has four-year-old son Rex and 17-month-old daughter Honey with her husband Jesse Wood – announced her plans in a video on her Instagram account.
Speaking in the clip, she said: “Not long now until my pop-up shop for ‘Fearne on Fashion’. I am so excited. I can tell you some little details now. It’s going to be on Friday 3rd March and it’s going to be at River Island’s Style Studio in Marble Arch, London. There’s going to be some incredible clothes, you’re going to have some Matthew Williamson archive, you’re also going to get some William Vintage, and some of my own wardrobe too. OHMYGOSSIP — Ashish Gupta’s “love affair” with sequins developed after he watched ‘Wizard of Oz’.
The fashion designer showcased his Autumn/Winter 2017 collection during London Fashion Week on Monday (20.02.17), which saw his models walk on a yellow brick road style catwalk covered with glitter as they adorned his garments laden with embellishment, and the star has revealed the 1939 fantasy film starring the late Judy Garland as Dorothy inspired his designs.
Speaking about his creations to Hello! Fashion Monthly, the mogul said: “My love affair with sequins started when I was pretty young, when I saw the ‘Wizard Of Oz’ for the first time. I was completely fascinated by Dorothy’s red Ruby Slippers.”
And the “strong women” in the creative mastermind’s life, including his mother, his friends and work colleagues also influenced his capsule.
He explained: “Lots of strong women and strong men that I know. I’m just inspired by strong, brave people around me who have so much positivity and love.”
The entrepreneur believes his profession gives him a platform to address matters that plague him, and he hopes other people in the industry do the same.
He said: “As a fashion designer the platform that I have is my clothes and my work, so obviously that becomes my way of saying what I want to say. Hope is so important and love is so important.
“Those are the things that we have to protect and really fight for, and we have to stand up against hate.
“And I think it’s really important right now for anyone creative to use their work to say something about [politics], if you feel strongly about it, like I do.”
Meanwhile, Ashish has managed to survive on “three hours” of sleep in seven days during the fashion extravaganza.
Speaking about his hectic schedule, he said: “I need to sleep. I need a lot of sleep. I’ve literally had like three hours of sleep in a week. I’ll just get over the coffee high with some decaf.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lea Michele can’t close her wardrobe because she has too many clothes.
The 30-year-old actress owns more activewear attire than she does “real clothes”, and the star has admitted her ever-expanding collection of garments has made it extremely difficult for her to shut her wardrobe door, although she won’t throw out any of her belongings because she wears everything she owns.
She told PEOPLE: “I own more workout clothes than real clothes. It’s gotten to the point where I can’t close my closet door! But I wear them all. For me, it’s important to get clothes that are cute but also affordable.”
And the former ‘Glee’ star – who played the role of Rachel Berry in the popular series – blamed her extensive selection of fashion and footwear items ion her “need” for comfortable shoes as well as high heels.
She explained: “I like to be comfortable. I don’t like to wear heels all the time. I’m from New York – I need to have my walking shoes.”
Lea has realised exactly what designs suit her and what styles do not, and she has revealed dresses made from lots of layers of fabric “drowns” her petite 5 ft 2 and a half inch frame, whilst gowns with thigh high splits leave her fearing she will expose too much flesh.
Speaking about her style preferences, she said: “I’m 5 ft 2 and a half inches, so I try to stay away from anything that has a lot of fabric because it drowns me. Also, it doesn’t photograph as well because I’m shorter.”
“But sometimes [with high slits] you have to pray to the fashion gods and hope for the best – then be ready to call your dad and let him know what may have happened.
“So, my red carpet style is pretty classy, though I like to be a little sexy every now and again. It’s about balance. If I’m going to have a short dress, I’ll have long sleeves. Or if I’m going to have a bare top, I’ll have a long skirt.”
And the star will “never shy away” from wearing an outfit with a v-plunge neck line because she loves her neck and chest area and will gladly flaunt her assets at star studded events.
She said: “I love my neck and my chest, and I love accentuating them, which is why I never shy away from a plunging silhouette. I know I work well with it. It’s about finding parts of yourself that you think are beautiful and making them shine.”
