Clarins launches four New Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils

OHMYGOSSIP — Clarins have launched four new Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils.
The longstanding skincare company launched their moisturising and highly-nourishing lip products in January 2015, but the beauty brand has expanded their cosmetics line to include Candy, Tangerine, Mint and a new adaptation of their original item Honey titled Honey Glam with a glitter effect.
The compact lip product has been extremely popular with costumers the company has decided to make the product part of its permanent line, especially after the success of their three debut shades Honey, Raspberry and Red Berry.
The Clarins Lip Comfort Oil not only vary in their scent and flavour, but also in the shade, and although the products come in an array of bright shades when applied to the lips they give a subtle hint of colour to the lips; the perfect amount of pigment has been included to create a subtle and sophisticated look.
The beauty range is rich in active plant ingredients, including hazelnut oil, Mirabelle and organic jojoba oils, which help to deeply moisturise the lips without the oiliness or stickiness of other products.
Whilst all of the items have conditioning and therapeutic elements, the Mint item has the additional benefit of plumping the lips instantly because of the added menthol.
The founder of the prestigious beauty empire, Jacques Courtin-Clarins, decided to create the innovative face and body oils into intensive professional formulas, which were initially used at the Clarins Institute de Beauté in Paris, France, when it first opened.
And the launch of the brand came when the influx of customers wanted to use the items in the comfort of their own home.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil is available to buy for £19 online and in store, as well as in department stores.
And the full seven-piece collection is available to purchase now.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid has teased a new collection for Tommy Hilfiger is “on its way”.
The 21-year-old model was named global ambassador for the fashion house in December 2015, and she has also designed and launched her own collections for the brand, but the star has hinted there is more to come from her as she is working on a new project for the label, although she has kept details of the upcoming venture close to her chest.
Alongside a picture of the golden-haired beauty sporting a white slogan vest top and patterned shirt from the designer brand, which she shared on her Instagram account, she wrote: “yesterday / @tommyhilfiger meetings !! more @tommyxgigi on its way for you guys 🙂 🙂 x (sic).”
Meanwhile, the catwalk icon – who has starred in a number of campaigns for prestigious companies including Balmain, Elie Saab and Marc Jacobs – prides herself in being a “pleasant person” who people want to work with, although she is surprised by her success.
Speaking previously about her achievements, the style muse – who is currently dating ‘Pillowtalk’ hitmaker Zayn Malik – explained: “Being a pleasant person in general, then more opportunities come to you. Half the stuff I’ve done in the last few years I never would’ve dreamed of.”
And Gigi is grateful she gets to work closely with her younger sister Bella, 20, as the pair have graced the Victoria’s Secret runway together for their fashion show last year and starred in a recent campaign for Fendi together, although she is aware it isn’t “normal” to work with your siblings.
She said: “It’s amazing to have family in such close proximity in the industry, I can look across the room through all the craziness and have that sense of home, but I realize that it’s not normal. I feel very lucky.”

Fergie and Josh Duhamel drink 'green goo' for breakfast

OHMYGOSSIP — Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel drink “green goo” every morning.
The 42-year-old singer and her 44-year-old actor have revealed they rustle up a home-made nutritious smoothie made from spinach, kale, celery, apple, banana and pears, every day, and they have been drinking the healthy juice for the past seven years to give them an energy boost to start their day.
Speaking about their daily routine, the ‘Safe Haven’ star said: “We drink green goo. But we call it green goo at our house.
“[Nutritionist] Kimberly [Snyder] introduced me to it on the set of the third ‘Transformers’ movie. It’s spinach, kale, celery, apple, banana, pear – we’ve literally made it every day for the past seven years and it’s just like energy in a glass.”
And the couple have even tried “coaxing” their three-year-old son Axl into drinking it to help him have a higher intake of vegetables.
The dark-haired hunk said: “It used to take a little coaxing, but it’s become a great way to make sure he gets enough greens.”
Although the pair enjoy sharing the same breakfast starter together when it comes to working out they prefer to do their separate thing, although Josh has hinted he is envious of the ‘Glamorous’ hitmaker’s “secret formula” when it comes to exercising.
He explained: “Hiking, that’s our thing. We get outside together.
“We actually really like doing our own thing at the gym – but man, she has got some amazing secret formula that works. When she gets focused – like if she wants to get in shape for a specific event or something – give her just a few days and boom, she’s done. I don’t know how she does it. She’s got it figured out.”
However, Josh needs the encouragement of a personal trainer or a group leader to help him stay fit.
He told Health magazine: “I usually take some kind of a class, or I’m working out with my personal trainer. It just makes it easier. If I have somebody leading me and pushing me, I’ll do it. If I just go to the gym alone, I do a couple arm curls and call it a day.”

Khloé Kardashian never used to wear denim 'at all'

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian never used to wear denim “at all”.
The 32-year-old television personality recently co-created the fashion label Good American with her London-based business partner Emma Grede, and the garments range from sizes six to 24, but the reality star has admitted she went “a long time” without wearing any products made from the material because she struggled to find the perfect fit.
Speaking about her wardrobe choices, the golden-haired beauty said: “I never considered myself fat but when I used to shop with my sisters I was always really shamed and shunned by [sales assistants] who would say: ‘ We don’t carry that size here’. I was always so embarrassed, so for a long time I didn’t wear denim at all. I kept getting angrier. They said they didn’t dress people my size. It’s shocking.”
But the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has designed her fashion range to accommodate all body shapes because she doesn’t want women to feel how she did, and instead wants to boost her customers confidence.
She explained: “The line is all about empowerment … making women feel great about themselves and embracing women of all shapes
“No one does our size range and makes sure it all sits together in one location … we believe trends transcend size.”
The ‘Revenge Body’ host has been praised as a “fearless woman” and a “proper business partner” who is always involved in every part of the creative process and decision making elements to the project.
Emma said: “She is fearless in her choices a. She’s a proper business partner – we speak, text and email all the time.”
And Khloé – who is currently dating 26-year-old sportsman Tristan Thompson – “loves” being an entrepreneur.
She told ES magazine: “I love being a businesswoman.”

Yara Shahidi tries not to be 'make-up dependent'

OHMYGOSSIP — Yara Shahidi forced herself not to be “make-up dependent” at a young age.
The 17-year-old actress felt she had to “confront” her feelings towards beauty and her aesthetic early in life, because her career in front of the camera meant she has to adorn a “full face” of cosmetic products when filming, and she didn’t want to rely on make-up to feel complete or confident.
The ‘Black-ish’ star – who portrays Zoey Johnson in the American sitcom – told PEOPLE: “Growing up on the small screen, I had to confront how I felt about beauty at a younger age because I was putting on a full face of make-up to get into character. I had to learn not to feel make-up dependent, as though I wasn’t finished without it, so it could stay a fun experience of experimenting and self-expression.”
And the brunette beauty has made a point of taking care of her skin since she became a teenager and follows a strict daily skincare routine, which sees her remove all of her make-up and deep cleansing her pores every night before she goes to sleep.
She explained: “As I’ve entered my teenage years, skincare is so important, so I feel confident in who I am.
“I can’t just wash my face and go to bed now. It’s about making sure my pores are clean, getting all of the make-up out and making sure that my skin is hydrated.”
But when the Minnesota-born star wants a quick fix for when she is on the go, she will use Clean & Clear’s make-up wipes and bubble cleanser.
She said: “I adore the Clean & Clear make-up wipes because amidst all the travelling I do, I don’t always have time to [fully] wash my face. I’ve also been playing around with the brand’s bubble cleanser because it’s gentle on my skin and gets everything out of my pores.
“After, I love putting on rose hip oil [as face moisturiser], which is so great for hydration.”

Rita Ora reveals her top secrets for staying in shape

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora focuses on her “thighs and bum” when she works out.
The 26-year-old singer has upped her fitness “game” this year by exercising for “one or two hours” in the gym where she concentrates on her lower body area and by eating a balanced diet, but the star has admitted she doesn’t exercise to get “skinnier” but to feel stronger and healthier.
Speaking to Shape magazine about her new lifestyle, the blonde-haired beauty said: “”I’m not going to lie and say I was completely happy with my body before. I knew I could change a few things to improve my stamina, especially onstage. I didn’t start working out to get skinnier – I started working out to feel better. And I think it’s important for women to know that. Don’t be obsessed with being thin. You just have to be fit, healthy, and strong.
“I’ve been the girl on tour who eats when she can and goes along when the band wants to go out all the time. But you just can’t keep that up. You start thinking, ‘I miss feeling good!’ This past year, I’ve really been on my game by eating right and going to the gym. As a result, I’m focused now, and I get a lot more done.
“I do circuit training. I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do one circuit of cardio. What I’ve learned is that you can take your time with training. You don’t have to beat yourself up as long as you get in the workouts that you need. I used to push myself until I felt sick. But I’m approaching it differently now. I enjoy working out. And I like the aftermath – that feeling of contentment.
“[But] I love my shape because it’s curvy. I have thighs. I’m a size 28 in jeans. And that’s an average, normal size. I’m proud that I’m normal.”
However, the ‘Black Widow’ hitmaker sometimes struggles to wake up and immediately go for a run, and she has revealed she has to look at photographs of 47-year-old musician Jennifer Lopez or 43-year-old actress Kate Beckinsale to “motivate” her to work out.
She explained: “Sometimes it’s hard. I don’t just wake up and run to the gym. When I need to motivate myself to work out, I look at pictures of women like Jennifer Lopez and Kate Beckinsale. They look incredible! If they can look like that, I have no excuse.”

Sienna Miller loves wearing 'masculine workman's clothes'

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller loves wearing “masculine workman’s clothes”.
The 35-year-old actress is currently “drawn” to “big, baggy” garments that resemble “chimney-sweeper trousers”, but the blonde-haired beauty has admitted she has no idea where her interest in the androgynous style has stemmed from.
Speaking to WWD about her fashion favourites, Sienna – who has four-year-old daughter Marlowe with her former partner Tom Sturridge – said: “I don’t really know where it came from, but I’m quite into quite masculine workman’s clothes. I keep getting drawn to big, baggy, sort of chimney-sweeper trousers and tweeds. High-waisted, bunched-up things and slightly odd shoes.”
However, the ‘American Sniper’ star has revealed her wardrobe has changed from being “quite flirty and sexy” in the past to now adorning “do-not-fancy-me” clothes.
Speaking about her style evolution, the New York-born star – who has starred in campaigns for designer brand Burberry – said: “I used to be quite flirty and sexy, and now it’s just like, ‘Do-not-fancy-me’ clothes.”
But Sienna prefers to look “unattractive” and have as little flesh on show as possible.
She added: “The more unattractive I can make myself, the less flesh I can possibly show, the better.”
Meanwhile, Sienna – who has recently been announced as the face of Swedish company Lindex – has revealed her ultimate favourite fashion label is Chloé, although she may “hate” an item until she sees the label and then she becomes “obsessed” with it within a matter of moments.
The ‘The Lost City of Z’ star – who portrays Nina Fawcett in the drama film – said: “I can hate it [a product] and see it’s got that [Chloé] label and be obsessed with it in a second.”

Jasmine Tookes wants to launch a beauty line

OHMYGOSSIP — Jasmine Tookes has “always” dreamed of launching her own beauty line.
The 26-year-old model has revealed she is desperate to create a cosmetics collection, because she struggles to find make-up to suit her “unique” skin tone and is often faced with problems when she is shooting a fashion campaign as make-up artists do not have one sole product to match her complexion.
Speaking about her goal for the future, the brunette beauty told Elle magazine: “My goal has always been to create my own beauty line. I have such a unique skin tone — when I go on set, make-up artists have to use all different mixes of make-up to match my skin.”
But the Victoria’s Secret Angel – who adorned the iconic Fantasy bra in last year’s catwalk show for the lingerie giant – wants to create an extensive capsule to suit not only her skin colour but for “everyone”.
She added: “I’d love to do a line that has tonnes for everybody.”

Langley Fox Hemingway has '75 piercings'

OHMYGOSSIP — Langley Fox Hemingway has “75 piercings”.
The 27-year-old model – who is the great-granddaughter of the late novelist Ernest Hemingway – has revealed she has multiple piercings all over her body, and she likes to “layer” gold hoops in her ears to channel a mix between the “gangster Mexican look” and the artist Gwen Stefani in her “early” days.
Speaking about her style to Stylist magazine, the American illustrator said: “I have 75 piercings so I layer gold hoops up my ears. I love the chola, gangster Mexican girl look. I like a white vest and big hoops, like early Gwen Stefani.”
And the star – who has previously starred in campaigns for the luxury fashion house Marc Jacobs – likes to co-ordinate her cosmetic products with her accessories.
She explained: “I love to wear red lipstick so I like to match with a great handbag so they complement each other. It’s nice to have a coloured bag rather than black.”
Langley also likes to add a pop of colour into her everyday wardrobe, and will adorn a pair of “classic” yellow sunglasses or a patterned scarf with an ensemble because she claims a pair of spectacles suits “everything”.
She said: “Classic yellow sunglasses work with everything. They make the world look dull and dry, but you look great wearing them.
“I like to team a scarf with a leather or bomber jacket, because they’re easily workable from day to night.”
However, the dark-haired beauty will “never” wear heeled shoes, and will prefer to adorn a simple tennis shoe, with metallic detail, to make the casual footwear “evening appropriate”.
She said: “I love a tennis shoe. I never wear heels so the gold [heel] is great to make these evening appropriate. I would wear them with a mannish pant suit.”

Kiernan Shipka is 'more experimental' with her style

OHMYGOSSIP — Kiernan Shipka has become “more experimental” with her style choices.
The 17-year-old actress believes she is more adventurous with her wardrobe now than she was when she was younger and she has “stopped caring” about the garments she pairs together so she can have “fun” with her outfits, which makes her feel “free and stylish”.
Speaking about her fashion evolution in InStyle magazine, the golden-haired beauty said: “I’m more experimental now than when I was younger. You should have fun with fashion, because why not? The moment I stopped caring was the moment I felt the most free and stylish.”
The Chicago-born star has admitted she has developed a “true love for fashion” now, and if she isn’t excited by an item she simply won’t wear it.
She explained: “I just have a true love for fashion. If it doesn’t excite you — as with anything — then it shows.”
And the ‘Mad Men’ star – who played the role of Sally Draper in the popular American series for eight years until the programme ended in 2015 – has credited costume designer Janie Bryant for teaching her about fashion and enabling her to see clothes as a way of telling a “story”.
She explained: “Janie was the first person who told me that style can tell a story. It’s not just clothes; it’s a message. That was ingrained in my mind and definitely made me want to say, ‘What place am I at right now, and what do I want to convey?'”.
“I was lucky to form I got to wear something cool.”
Kiernan has admitted she was in love with her character’s wardrobe because it was filled with
“all the clothes” she wanted to wear when she was a child.
Speaking previously, she said:”In ‘Mad Men’, I have a tonne of favourite costumes.
“It’s all the clothes that, when I was 6 and 7, I wanted to wear in ‘Mad Men’ all the older ladies were getting to wear. So it’s kind of like living out my childhood fashion dream.”

Kristen Bell uses Manuka honey as a face mask

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell uses Manuka honey as a face mask.
The 36-year-old actress has admitted she “really loves” the raw liquid product from Manuka Doctor because of the “great antibacterial properties” it has and it’s long-lasting shelf life, and she will often leave the substance on her face to help moisturise her skin.
Speaking about her skincare routine and go-to items, the blonde-haired beauty said: “I really love Manuka honey. Honey in general has all these great antibacterial properties, but Manuka honey, which comes from a specific plant in New Zealand, has the most stable shelf life when it comes to those properties. I like to use it as a face mask. It’s great for your skin — it’s antibacterial, of course, but it also leaves this amazing coating on your skin that acts sort of like a moisturiser.”
The ‘Frozen’ star – who provided the voice over for Anna in the 2013 animated Disney film – also reveals she will lather coconut oil over her body when she is in the shower, or rustle up a home-made scrub with the product, and will even condition her golden tresses with the natural merchandise too.
She said: “I do use a lot of coconut oil — as a body moisturizer right out of the shower, and I put it on the tips of my hair.
“And I’ll sometimes make a body scrub to use in the shower that’s made of honey — not necessarily Manuka honey, because that could get really expensive. Brown sugar, and a little coconut oil. It makes you smell like a cookie.”
Kristen – who has son Lincoln, four, and two-year-old daughter Delta with her husband Dax Shepard – has revealed she has to wear “a lot” of make-up for work, and after a hectic day she relied on Neutrogena’s beauty products to remove the cosmetics.
The American star – who is the brand ambassador for the skincare company – said: “And I do love the Neutrogena Naturals line … My favourite is probably the Purifying Facial Cleanser — I wear a lot of make-up for work, and I find that it doesn’t strip my skin, but it really does get all the make-up off.”

Shanina Shaik changes products to suit each season

OHMYGOSSIP — Shanina Shaik changes her beauty products depending on the season.
The 26-year-old – who embarked on a modelling career at the age of eight and has since modelled for luxury labels including Chanel and Victoria’s Secret, has revealed she alternates her daily skincare regimen throughout the year.
Speaking about her routine to Byrdie.co.uk, the brunette beauty said: “I moisturise a lot, day and night. I usually change my skin products according to the seasons, for winter and summer.
“My skin is very oily so I tend to opt for a lighter moisturiser. I love Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr. Neutrogena has amazing moisturisers and I used a line called Adore.”
However, one thing that doesn’t change from the catwalk icon’s regime is her daily “cleanse, tone, moisturise” system and exfoliating habit, which she carries out twice a week.
She explained: “In the morning, I cleanse, tone, moisturise and exfoliate two times a week.”
Shanina follows a strict skincare ritual in the morning because she believes it is essential to have a clear complexion to provide the base to apply make-up on top of.
She explained: “I always start with a moisturised, clean face. I don’t like to use foundation so much. I find a tinted moisturiser looks much more natural. I like the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, and, if not that, the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It’s also very light on the face – I don’t like to create a ‘masked’ look. I like very natural and dewy make-up.”
And Shanina’s thorough cleansing programme means it will take her almost two hours to get ready for a star-studded event.
She said: “When I get ready to go out or to an event, it will take me about an hour, hour and a half, to get ready.”
Meanwhile, the style muse wishes she could tell her teenage self to have more confidence in herself.
She said: “It pushes me to do amazing things and work hard but if you overdo something and start to worry it can be difficult.
“It’s really important to just be conscious and believe in yourself. I constantly have a good diet; I eat quite well.”

Michael Kors opens up about unusual male bodysuit garment

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Kors once made body suits for men.
The 57-year-old fashion designer – who launched his eponymous fashion label in 1981 – has revealed he created a unique all in one piece, which blended a shirt into Y-front briefs because he wanted to find an alternative for men who tucked the garment into their underwear.
Speaking in a game of Fact or Fiction with Blake Lively for Glamour magazine, the creative mastermind asked: “I once designed bodysuits for men.”
To which the former ‘Gossip Girl’ star replied: “Fact.”
The mogul then explained his inspiration behind the innovative design.
He said: “Guys always tuck their shirts into their underwear. And I thought wouldn’t it be the coolest, smartest idea in the world to actually attach your shirt to Y-front briefs.”
However the entrepreneur has revealed there was a danger of having a wardrobe malfunction with the product, which would undo if someone waved their hands in the air too quickly or vigorously.
He explained: “So we had snaps at the bottom of the Y-front briefs, so if you raised your arm too quickly they’d snap.”
And Michael has revealed he decided on the name of the fashion house at a young age, and he has revealed there was a point when he could have risked naming his fashion house Chooch Anderson.
He said: “I chose the name Michael Kors when I was five, or else my company would be called Chooch Anderson. It’s fact.”
However, the 29-year-old actress believes Michael could use the name for a “side brand” in the future.
She joked: “I think you could have a side brand called Chooch, like a lingerie line called Chooch.”
Meanwhile, Michael praised Blake during the quick fire round and has credited her as having “amazing hair and style”.
He said: “Blake and I have been friends for a long time and she always makes me laugh.
“I knew our fans would enjoy learning more about her and she definitely has a competitive side so inviting her to be a part of ‘Glamour Games’ was really a no-brainer.
“Her sense of humour and sunny disposition are infectious. I think the video will make people everywhere smile.
“She brings charm and optimism, not to mention amazing hair and style, to everything she does.”

Katy Perry eyelashes are 'longer' than her hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry believes her eyelashes are “longer” than her hair.
The 32-year-old singer underwent a drastic beauty overhaul last month, which saw her get her mid-length tresses chopped off in favour of a blonde pixie crop, and the star has since had another trim but she has joked her locks are now shorter than her curled lashes.
Speaking about her updo on her Instagram Story, which lasts on the photo-sharing site for 24 hours, and saw the musician apply a face-morphing filter to the clip, she joked: “When your eyelashes are longer than your hair, you know you’ve just got a cut from Chris McMillan.”
And the ‘Roar’ hitmaker captioned the clip by tagging the hair expert Chris McMillan in the footage. It simply read: “@mrchrismcmillan (Sic).”
Katy continued to show off her blonde tresses in a string of short videos and a close-up photograph of her hair, as well as her style inspiration.
Katy has revealed 34-year-old model Agyness Dean and 62-year-old singer songwriter were the muses who encouraged her to alter her appearance.
Alongside a picture of the catwalk star, she wrote: “Inspo for life @aggyy_deyn (sic).”
Whilst a still image of the ‘I Put a Spell On You’ hitmaker was captioned: “S/O @officialannielennox (sic).”

She explained: “What do you think Chris?”
To which he replied: “I love it. Are you kidding? I’ve been wanting to do this since the day I met, you, do you remember?”
And Katy answered: “I remember. I wasn’t ready.”

Janelle Monáe believes poverty helped her style

OHMYGOSSIP — Janelle Monáe believes being poor helped her to be “more creative” with her style.
The 31-year-old singer and songwriter has claimed she developed a “superpower” when she was younger and didn’t have much money, which enabled her to be more innovative with her wardrobe choices.
Speaking about how her style developed in the new issue of America’s Marie Claire magazine, the Kansas-born star said: “Being poor helped me be more creative. It was my superpower. ”
And the ‘Hidden Figures’ actress had to force herself to feel “comfortable” in her own skin because she has hinted she admired people who had an air of self-assurance when they entered a room.
The brunette beauty explained: “I had to get comfortable in my own skin – you know when somebody walks in a room and they have such a confidence that they dare you to say something about them.”
And the ‘Tightrope’ hitmaker believes women need to “redefine what sexy is” and to change style and conformity to encourage people to feel unique and to embrace their own assets.
She said: “It is important to redefine what sexy is. To redefine style … It is important for women to be [in control], especially when gender norms and conformity are pushed upon us.
“Women automatically are told that this is how you should look. This is how you should get a man. This is how you should get a woman. You need to fit into all these boxes to be accepted. I don’t subscribe to that way of thinking. I don’t think we all have to take the same coordinates to reach the same destination. I believe in embracing what makes you unique even if it makes others uncomfortable. I have learned there is power in saying no. I have agency. I get to decide.”
