Nicky Hilton Rothschild brands bike shorts and crop trend ‘not cute’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicky Hilton Rothschild is not a fan of the bike shorts and crop top trend.
The 37-year-old fashion designer, model and socialite has branded the two-piece athleisure look – which the likes of Kim Kardashian West, Hailey Bieber and Gigi Hadid have been seen in – “not cute”.
She confessed: “I’m not into the whole bike shorts and crop tops thing – that’s not cute to me!”
Nicky has, however, loved seeing 90s and noughties pieces come back into fashion, such as bucket hats and Juicy Couture – the latter of which her sister Paris Hilton popularised in the early 2000s.
She told The Daily Front Row: “I find it really nostalgic and fun. I love Juicy Couture – it’s iconic! I love bucket hats being back and slip dresses. It brings me back to a different time.”
Nicky was devastated when many of her pieces from then were stolen by thieves who broke into her Los Angeles home in 2009.
She said: “When I was burglarised in LA, sadly they took a lot of that stuff. They took all of my Dior saddle bags, Fendi baguettes, and all of my Louis Vuitton x Sprouses.”
The mother-of-two – who has daughters Teddy, three, and Lily-Grace, four, with husband James Rothschild – has described her style has more “casual” nowadays and she will often be seen rocking footwear from her Nicky Hilton x French Sole sustainable shoe collection.
She said: “I mean, I’m definitely more casual these days. I’m usually in a tracksuit. There are some great brands doing tracksuits, like Quince who makes cashmere ones. Alice & Olivia has some chic tracksuits too. I don’t even remember wearing heels … but I’ve been wearing my French Soles a lot!”
But Nicky is looking forward to getting to wear heels and dresses again after living in loungewear amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
She said: “I think there’s so much pent-up energy to get dressed up and go out. I know I’m looking forward to putting heels and a dress on again. Alice & Olivia have some beautiful floral spring dresses that I have my eyes on, as does Oscar de la Renta.”

Lucy Hale’s brows crush is Dua Lipa

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Hale says Dua Lipa is her “brows crush”.
The 31-year-old actress loves a fluffy statement brow and swoons over the ‘Levitating’ hitmaker and ‘Emily in Paris’ star Lily Collins’ style and shape of their eyebrows.
In a beauty tutorial video for British Vogue, Lucy shared: “I love my brows … bigger, bolder, the better. Always brush up.”
On her brows crush, she said: “Lily Collins has great brows, Dua Lipa has great brows.”
Meanwhile, Lucy used to battle with breakouts throughout her 20s, and previously recalled how there were times she didn’t want to go to work on the set of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ because her “skin was so bad”.
She said last year: “In my 20s, I would try a bunch of products, and still be like, ‘Why is my skin breaking out?’ It was because it just didn’t agree with the things I was putting on it. My skin doesn’t like a lot of makeup, but the layering of foundation, powder, foundation, powder … it just made it really angry.
“There were days when I was filming ‘Pretty Little Liars’ where I didn’t want to go to work because my skin was so bad. They had to especially light for me at times because I would break out. There were a lot of tricks going on there.”
But since finding products specially designed for sensitive skin like Almay’s range, Lucy’s skin has cleared up.
The skincare brand’s ambassador added: “In the past, I’ve had lots of problems with my skin, so I’m always looking for products that won’t irritate it. I love Almay because it’s fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. But just because it’s clean, it doesn’t mean that it’s not fun. They still have really amazing make-up and eyeshadows and lipsticks.”

Nicky Hilton Rothschild: I consider myself pretty eco-conscious

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicky Hilton Rothschild tries to be a more conscious shopper.
The socialite – who has designed a sustainable shoe collection with French Soles – does her bit every day by trying to lead a “more sustainable life”.
She said: “I try and lead a more sustainable life every day. I consider myself a pretty eco-conscious person—I’m not perfect, but I try and do my part. Even doing small things: like bringing reusable bags to the market, turning lights off when I leave the room, buying sustainable products.”
The Hilton hotels heiress makes sure to read the labels to check the ingredients going into the products she buys and likes to know how they’ve been made.
She added to The Daily Front Row: “Absolutely! I think now, more than ever, people are shopping with a purpose and they’re really looking at the labels, ingredients, where it’s made, what’s in it, and if it’s organic. I’m always interested in the backstory of a company and interested in learning where it’s made, what’s in it, and who’s making it.”
Nicky joined forces with her longtime friend Amanda Hearst Rønning – the great-grandaughter of business mogul William Randolph Hearst Sr. – on the French Sole’s line, which includes ballet flats made from vegan microfibre.
Nicky said recently : “I know that the word sustainable has become such a buzzword, and I made it very clear to French Sole that the shoes were to be 100 percent sustainable, not partially.
“During the summer, I live in cotton dresses, silk dresses, cut-off jean shorts, a button down, so I really wanted something easy, fun and comfortable to pair with that.”
The footwear is named after influential women in Nicky’s life.
She added: “When I’m designing collections, I always name pieces after women that I admire.”

The ‘White Tiger’ star walked the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall, London alongside her husband Nick Jonas. Whilst the ceremony is mainly virtual this year, presenters are conducting their duty from the iconic venue.
The bright pink jacket was ornately decorated with stunning flower detailing, which she teamed with white trousers, whilst her husband Nick looked suave in a black velvet suit and matching bowtie.
Cynthia Erivo also impressed in a stunning sequined dress. The long sleeve top was embellished with black bead detailing around the neck whilst she paired this with an equally shimmering gold skirt.
‘Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor looked classy and regal in a beautiful off the shoulder floor length gown, which ruched in at the waist to show off her tiny frame. Her hair as tousled into light waves and she completed the look with sparkling earrings.
Singer Celeste – who will be appearing at the award ceremony to sing her track, ‘Hear My Voice’, from ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ – opted for a quirky patterned blue gown with puffed shoulders and a net-lined skirt, which was partly covered by strips of material matching the pattern of the dress, completed with black detailing.

Regina King: It’s a myth that all skins needs the same things

OHMYGOSSIP — Regina King thinks it’s a “myth” that all skin needs “the same things”.
The 50-year-old actress has dismissed the idea that all skin complexions require the same level of care and attention, as she said everyone’s skin is different and needs different products to help maintain a healthy glow.
She said: “I think it’s a myth that all skin complexions need the same things. I would compare it to hair type and how our needs are different there, depending on our textures … [and] the more these conversations happen, the more proper self-care is put on peoples’ radars.”
Regina also admitted she never used to care about her skin when she was younger, but now treats dermatology appointments with the same level of importance as a visit to her dentist.
She added: “I’m very much aware of the need to educate and to start a conversation that quite frankly isn’t much of a conversation.”
The ‘One Night in Miami…’ actress spilled some of the secrets behind her own skincare routine, and said “taking baths regularly” has done wonders for her complexion as well as for her mental health.
She said: “Taking baths regularly has been a really good thing for me. I am very into discovering different bath salts and Epsom salts … the whole process of setting up my bath has been very meditative for me too.
“Now sometimes I’ll only do it for 10 minutes, but that 10 minutes is like taking a car to a gas station. It’s how I refuel.”
Regina also reflected on the life lessons she’s learned so far, as she said she feels “confident” about where she is in her life.
Speaking to Vogue magazine, she explained: “I’ve learned that I still don’t have all the answers. But one thing I do feel confident about telling my younger self is, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, even if it doesn’t feel like it.”

Eiza Gonzalez: Less is more when it comes to beauty

OHMYGOSSIP — Eiza Gonzalez has a “less is more” approach to beauty.
The ‘Baby Driver’ star loves to “experiment” with her beauty routines now that she’s “more comfortable” in her own skin, but often chooses to keep her makeup to a minimum in order to let her natural beauty shine through.
She said: “It’s really become less is more for me. Obviously when you’re younger, you feel excited about the fact that you can wear makeup and start doing adult stuff. I really took advantage of that growing up. And then, now, to me it’s just about feeling more comfortable in my skin and experimenting. I don’t like to always play it safe. I’m getting older and becoming more versatile, more multifaceted when it comes to my look.”
And Eiza also loves to play around with her hair, because she doesn’t like to rock the same look for too long.
She added: “I think that’s one of the coolest things about being an actress, playing with your image, changing your look around, and become different people. In my daily life, I feel the same way. Some days I’m that girl on the beach with a golden tan playing with subtle orange and pinks, other days I go super natural – almost no makeup, maybe just a brow, some lash, and that’s it. Then, when I get the chance, I’ll do something like a mod makeup moment, like when Pati Dubroff drew on a perfect ’60s makeup look. It’s so transformative. It’s the same with hair, I like to play with it. I go short. I go long. I go blonde. I go brunette. I enjoy just becoming different women.”
The 31-year-old actress keeps it simple when it comes to her skincare too, because her skin “does not like it” when she puts on too much product.
Speaking to Vogue magazine, she said: “I try to keep it very simple because I feel like when I overdo it with my skin, my skin does not like it at all. Every six or seven months, I love doing microneedling because I get hyperpigmentation and that really helps.
“One thing people forget about, that’s one of the most crucial parts of aging, is your neck. You have to be diligent from a really young age. It’s important to keep it hydrate.”

Kaia Gerber: I got into skincare in lockdown

OHMYGOSSIP — Kaia Gerber “got into skincare” during lockdown.
The 19-year-old model has revealed she took the time to take care of her skin whilst she was stuck at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and now has a full routine that she follows every day.
When asked what her beauty routine has been during the pandemic, she said: “I always keep things simple anyways, but I definitely got into skincare, which I wasn’t that into before. I was always traveling and didn’t want to carry a bunch of products around with me, but now I have a routine and it’s been really nice.
“I also work with YSL Beaute and they have really great everyday products. Their Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick is a really pretty lip colour I wear for Zooms and stuff like that, and I wear their Touché Éclat every day because it just really gives you a nice glow. Those two products have become a really bit part of my routine because it can be hard to feel pretty when you’re in sweatpants.”
Kaia also used lockdown to experiment with her hair, as she advised people to never do what she did and try to bleach their hair at home.
She added: “About two months into quarantine, I had the brilliant idea to self-bleach my hair with hydrogen peroxide, which no one should ever do — ever. So I did that, sat out in the sun and had some really nice orange highlights.”
Eventually, Kaia decided to follow through with her plan and bleach the rest of her hair so that she could then dye it pink, which has “always been a dream” of hers.
Speaking to InStyle magazine, she said: “I decided to take it farther and eventually just bleached it, and then I dyed it pink, which I loved. Pink hair has always been a dream of mine and I’ve always wanted to mess with my hair, and I thought I might as well do it now and get it out of my system. That all happened in a span of five months, and now, we’re back to my natural colour and I appreciate it so much more.”

Jodie Turner-Smith: My baby bump was an unforgettable fashion accessory

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Turner-Smith says her daughter was her “unforgettable accessory” when she took part in awards season last year whilst pregnant.
The 34-year-old actress gave birth to her daughter Janie in April last year, and in the months before her arrival, Jodie was seen on several red carpets wearing stunning gowns that complemented her burgeoning baby bump.
In one memorable moment, Jodie wore a bright yellow halter neck Gucci gown for the BAFTA Awards in February 2020, and has now admitted she “can’t wait” to show her daughter the pictures when she’s older.
She told MatchesFashion: “I love gowns because you always feel like a f****** princess, whatever a princess wears in your head. But I had the most unforgettable accessory with that [yellow] gown: I love that my baby has been with me on my fashion journey.
“Every bit of press, every cover, I was pregnant. I can’t wait to share that with her when she’s older.”
At the time of the awards, Jodie took to Instagram to share pictures of her gorgeous gown, where she also revealed she had to leave the ceremony early because her pregnancy hormones had made her cranky from lack of food.
She wrote: “I’ve never felt more beautiful, i will never ever forget this moment, and i look forward to showing this to my baby angel years from now. Any way, the #BAFTAs are not yet over but this pregnant lady has to leave because if i don’t eat every 2.5hrs i turn into florence pugh from the 3rd act of midsommar — highly emotional & very likely to let my man get sewn into a bear costume and burnt alive (sic).”

Eva Longoria doesn’t get rid of any of her shoes

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria doesn’t part with any of her shoes.
The 46-year-old star’s heels and pumps remain in her collection forever and she even has a separate closet for older pairs, which her husband José Bastón can’t get his head around.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine for the annual Beautiful Issue, Eva confessed: “With my shoes I never say, ‘Thank you and goodbye.’ I’m like, thank you and I move it to the other closet.
“I can’t part, and my husband goes, ‘Why do you keep all these shoes?’ I’m like, ‘I’m a shoe collector.’ As if I’m an art collector. It’s a thing.”
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star also admitted she feels like she has a “relationship” with her Louboutins because they’ve grown together.
She explained: “I feel like Louboutins came of age when I was coming into my fame, or when I was coming into my popularity. I feel like we have a relationship of growing together. So it was like the shoe to have at the moment when I started ‘Desperate Housewives’.
“I just remember just craving having a collection of many Louboutins. But really the main pair I wanted, which was very hard to get because I have a very small foot, it was always sold out, this patent leather nude.”
Eva – who has two-year-old son Santiago with her spouse – finally got her hands on the nude pumps and is extremely protective of them.
She said: “I treat them like babies in my closet. I’m like, ‘Do not touch this.’ And the crazy thing is, they stood the test of time. They are still in style. The craftsmanship and the pitch, and everything about this particular pump has never gone out of style.”
Elsewhere, the ‘Flipped’ star admitted she has become more selective about which pieces designers dress her in.
She added: “Before I probably would probably be like, ‘Oh sure, I’ll wear those feathers.’ And then I’m like, ‘Ah, why did I wear those feathers?’ When you’re young, you’re like, ‘Yay, this designer wants to dress me. Sure, I’ll wear the ostrich.’
“And then you look back and you’re like, ‘Why did I do that?'”

Lena Dunham designs plus-size line for 11 Honore

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham has designed a plus-size clothing collection for 11 Honoré.
The ‘Girls’ creator – who made her catwalk debut at London Fashion Week in 2020 – has unveiled her five-piece line with the size-inclusive online retailer and vowed to end the perception that “bigger women” are “stupider” than thin girls.
Lena told The New York Times: “There’s so much judgment around bigger bodies and I think one of those judgments is that bigger women are stupider.
“They eat too much and don’t know how to stop. Thin women must be discerning and able to use their willpower. Bigger women must be limited in their understanding of the world, and they keep doing things that are bad for them.
“The amount of people who have written to me … [saying]: ‘You’re promoting obesity. Don’t you understand you’re killing yourself? Are you stupid? Why are you doing that?’”
The 34-year-old actress, writer and producer decided against including loungewear in her collection – which boasts a pinstriped blazer and miniskirt, a printed dress, a shirt and a mock-neck tank top – because: “If a thin girl wears sweatpants, it’s kind of cute – like, ‘I’m having a rough day!’ But for a chubby girl it’s: ‘You’ve made a lifestyle choice to give up.’”
Lena – who has “settled into a Size 14 to 16” – posted a year ago about being “body tolerant”.
The ‘Stand In’ star admitted she doesn’t always have a “positive” relationship with her body but there are times when she gets great pleasure from “admiring the twists and turns” of her shape and wearing something from “pleasing fabrics”.
She shared a photo of herself in a black swimsuit and wrote on Instagram: “Ya know when you’re home alone and you realize you’d be happier in a hot lil’ onesie than your ketchup & cat food stained pajamas?
“And it’s not about a boy or a photo shoot or a weight loss before-and-after, it’s just for the feeling of glee you get from dressing your one and only corporeal form in pleasing fabrics, the unique pleasure of admiring the twists and turns of the body that loves the heck out of you even when you don’t love it.
“I’ve never called myself “body positive” because my relationship with my curves and scars isn’t overtly political– it’s wildly personal. And it isn’t always positive.
“I take enormous comfort in the body positivity movement, but I think of myself as something more like “body tolerant.” (sic)”
Lena has a number of health conditions, including endometriosis and rare disorder Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and admitted that although they sometimes make her “resent” her body, she doesn’t have such a “toxic” relationship with it any more.

Lena Dunham wants to see more curvy bodies on display

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham wants to see “more curvy bodies that look like Kim Kardashian [West] has been up-sized slightly.”
The ‘Girls’ creator wants the body positive movement to shine a light on a range of shapes and sizes instead of just highlighting the “privileged few” with figures that society deems ideal.
She told The New York Times: “The thing that’s complicated about the body-positive movement is it can be for the privileged few who have a body that looks the way people want to feel positive.
“We want curvy bodies that look like Kim Kardashian [West] has been up-sized slightly. We want big beautiful butts and big beautiful breasts and no cellulite and faces that look like you could smack them onto thin women.”
The 34-year-old actress – who underwent a hysterectomy after suffering with endometriosis and also has rare disorder Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome – is proud of her assets but insisted she doesn’t fall into the above box, because if she posted a nude snap on social media, people wouldn’t admire her “beautiful derrière”.
She explained: “I have a big stomach, I always have. That’s where I gain my weight — especially after early menopause, I have a straight-up gut, like an old man — and that’s not where anybody wants to see flesh. It’s not like if I posted a sensual nude of myself on Instagram, people would be marvelling at my beautiful derrière.”
Elsewhere, Lena explained why she wanted to prove that bigger women have a “sense of humour” too, with her new playful clothing line with size-inclusive retailer 11 Honoré.
She added: “What I really love in fashion is a certain level of playfulness and winky intelligence that people just don’t think bigger women want or understand. No one thinks plus women have a sense of humour, and if they do, it’s, ‘We’re going to put a watermelon on your skirt, you sassy girl!’ None of it has subtlety or true sophistication.”

Naomi Campbell doesn’t want to change anything about herself

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell wouldn’t change anything about herself.
The 50-year-old supermodel feels “blessed” that she has “good health” and is at peace with what God gave her.
Quizzed on what she would change about herself, if she could, she told Vanity Fair: “I’m not going to change anything about myself. I am happy and blessed with what God gave me, and I really have nothing to complain about.”
Meanwhile, Naomi recently revealed she undergoes a lymphatic drainage massage to help sculpt and lengthen her legs before she steps out onto the runway.
The procedure involves maderotherapy, which is a technique using special wooden tools to manipulate and loosen fascia, the thin casing of connective tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fibre, and muscle in place.
Speaking in a YouTube video, she explained: “It’s not painful, but it’s not soothing. “I try to do this as much as I can, actually, because I am 50 years old. Women at my age do have water retention. “The first time we [did this], I must say it tickled me so much! I giggled!”
Naomi’s massage involves several different techniques including having her thighs kneaded with mushroom cups, and her shins being rolled with a rolling pin.
The massage also helps the model to de-bloat, and boosts blood flow and circulation, as well as targetting sagging skin and cellulite.
She added in the clip: “It’s kind of like I’m being made into bread. That’s what you want with your body. No lumps, no bumps, no cellulite … no, no, no!”

Keke Palmer ‘felt shame about having acne’

OHMYGOSSIP — Keke Palmer “felt shame about having acne”.
The ‘Hustlers’ star previously revealed that she has suffered with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) – which can cause skin issues, as well as irregular periods, facial hair growth and pregnancy struggles – for many years but was only diagnosed last year.
And the 27-year-old star has admitted she felt like she had to wear make-up every day to hide her spots.
However, years of covering up her skin only made the problem worse.
She told InStyle magazine: “I was constantly hiding myself and felt shame about having acne.
“Wearing make-up became a chore because I always had to be ‘on’ wherever I went in case a fan asked me to take a picture; I didn’t have the proper boundaries to say no. So instead of getting to the bottom of my acne and trying to understand it, I was covering it up, trying to be perfect. But you’re never going to get to the nitty-gritty of something when you do a lot of covering up.”
The actress explained how filming the upcoming thriller ‘Alice’ made her realise it was time to apply the same “energy and confidence” to her skin as she had done with her natural hair.
She said: “The movie is so much about standing up for your freedom, and that activated something deep in me.
“I started questioning what I could do for myself instead of just popping a birth-control pill to try to control my acne. I wanted to bring the same energy and confidence to my skin that I had already brought to my natural hair when, after it was changed by weaves and wigs, I learned how to protect it.”
Keke added how important it is for women to be open about their health issues so it’s no longer taboo.
She said: “I feel most beautiful when I’m being kind and of service to others.
“As females, we need to advocate for ourselves, because everything [in society] is kind of a rule-of-thumb by males. But it shouldn’t be weird for us to talk about our health issues or demand what we need when we go to the doctor. We make it weird, but it’s not really weird — and the more that we talk about it, the less of an issue it will become.”

Kate Upton: Being make-up-free stand for loving myself

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Upton has admitted “being make-up-free stands for loving myself”.
The 28-year-old model-and-actress has admitted it was “nerve-wracking” going bare-faced for PEOPLE’s Beautiful Issue as she battled with melasma, a skin discolouration, when she was pregnant with her daughter Genevieve, who is now two.
She said: “Of course, the first bit of melasma was right over my upper lip, which made me look like I had a permanent moustache. [My skin’s] reaction to being in the sun changed a lot.”
The ‘Layover’ star also opened up about the “negative” impact social media has on the relationship people have with themselves and insisted applying make-up should be about making oneself feel “better” about themselves.
Kate continued: “I feel like make-up is so nice if you use it in a way that makes you feel better about yourself. But there are also so many times when you’re putting on make-up to cover up or change different ways of your face.
“I see it more and more with social media. It creates a negative mental relationship with yourself that you feel you should change. So I think being make-up-free stands for loving myself how I am. Although I do love make-up, I appreciate what being make-up-free means.”
Asked when she feels most beautiful, Kate told the ‘PEOPLE Every Day’ podcast: “It’s always a journey because we’re human. You feel stressed some days and you feel overwhelmed or tired. I think just going back to appreciate the connections we have — the family, the friends and putting how I feel beautiful on my relationships and on my relationship with myself. [That] is how I feel most beautiful.”
As for her skincare routine, the Sports Illustrated cover star revealed she uses “cooling” products and LED light masks on her sensitive skin.
She said: “It’s hard with the sun. I have such sensitive skin that suddenly I’m always red. So anything cooling is nice.
“I’ve been very into LED light masks. It’s helping even my skin tone, because like I mentioned, the melasma.
“I love face masks because sometimes you’ll see even the simple change of your complexion.
“I have a great ice roller that I love to use to bring down puffiness. There are little things you can do to make yourself feel more confident.”

Naomi Scott’s skin ‘went to pot’ due to topical steroid withdrawal

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Scott suffers with TSW (topical steroid withdrawal).
The 27-year-old actress has revealed she had major withdrawal symptoms after deciding to stop taking the hormones that occur naturally in the body to cure her eczema and her skin “went to pot” last year
Speaking on the latest episode of Jessie Ware’s ‘Table Manners’ podcast, she said: “I have this condition called TSW. It’s topical steroid withdrawal. I grew up with eczema and doctor’s use steroid cream, which I have very strong feelings about. Over the years, my body became, somewhat, well you get addicted to these steroid creams, and your body can’t manage without them. And then they give you stronger steroids. And then your body just goes ‘nah’, it doesn’t work anymore, to which point I was probably 23, and I basically just blew up over my body. This was after I filmed Aladdin. Me and my husband [Jordan Spencer] were like, let’s just go natural, fully natural, heal naturally, so we chucked all my steroid creams away and my immunosuppressant cream and what then ensues is a 2-5 year drug withdrawal, that no one tells you about, that you go through which is gnarly.”
Asked if she changed her diet to remedy the impact of the steroids, she replied: “Well no, it’s been remedied through patience and just stop taking the drugs.”
The ‘Aladdin’ star explained how the condition left her with nerve damage and “wrinkly” smile lines.Naomi has been having “non-moisture treatments” and tries to reduce her dairy intake to keep the symptoms at bay.
She continued:“The other thing is, it’s nerve damage. The steroid cream, your skin is your biggest organ. It’s not an allergic reaction and it’s not a histamine reaction. It’s literally nerve damage. The itch is bone deep so you can’t quench the itch … But I think it’s really important to talk about because a lot of people are going through it and don’t even realise it’s TSW, they think it’s really severe adult eczema. But actually it’s from the steroid creams you are using. You see my elasticity, when I smile, I don’t have the normal elasticity. It looks like I’m kind of wrinkly. It’s from the healing process (from the steroids). I’m three years in and I do non-moisture treatment which means i don’t put any moisture treatment on my skin. It’s forcing my body to be able to create its own cortisol levels and it’s own oils to moisturise ourselves. It’s pretty crazy cause when you are on camera, my face is my work, it does a lot. It’s been a pretty interesting few years.”
She added: “Another weird thing about this. [In] 2019 when I was a bit out in the world in terms of promoting stuff, it was almost a delayed reaction that I had because of a protopic which is immunosuppressant cream. Basically I had a year where my skin was pretty good and was able to function, in pictures I looked fine. Hit 2020 it all kind of went to pot. Literally I went through my worst symptoms, some of the symptoms aren’t skin related, other stuff. Here’s the thing, dairy is the main thing that is a trigger. Dairy is just not good in general for me. But for this, I find it hard to keep to all of it. I am such an eater. I just love food so much.”

Teyana Taylor is buying a block for her Junie Bee Nails salon

OHMYGOSSIP — Teyana Taylor is set to buy a block for her nail salon.
The 30-year-old actress opened the New York hip-hop inspired beauty parlour Junie Bee Nails – which is named after her five-year-old daughter – to “spread more opportunity” in her local area three years ago.And Teyana, who is getting back into the real estate game to benefit herself and her community, has revealed they are relocating and purchasing a place so she can go all out making the premises look fancy.
She told People: “We’re in the process of relocating right now. When I reopen, I’m going to own the block, rather than rent it. When you own the space, there’s so much more you can do. Look how creative the salon was. Imagine putting that type of creativity into it, then after a five-year lease you have to knock it all down? So we kind of had a little hiatus to come back stronger – the next time it’s built back up, it’ll be there to stay forever. I just wanted to elevate, and really start getting back into real estate and investing in myself, and the community.”
Teyana previously explained how she was determined to only hire locals for the business in Harlem.
She said in 2018: “I always wanted to open up a nail salon in Harlem, mainly to spread more opportunity in my community, because there are so many young girls out here who are so talented but their work is not being seen, or they’re being distracted by other things.”
The ‘Coming 2 America’ star first announced the opening of her salon in an emotional post.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Hmmmm… I’m thinking of a master plan… A 90’s Themed Nail salon in Harlem! The vision has finally come to life and it’s ready! So come one, come all! Junie Bee Nails is granting a dope opportunity to the flyest nail techs, from around the way. No matter what shape, size, color, or gender it’s all good with us! I want to continue to create great opportunities for my community and our talented youth!! Let’s change the game, The vision is crazy! I’m talking everything from Dapper Dan style Uni’s, to Door Knockers, Bamboo earrings, baby hairs, Airbrushed nails, 54’11’s and all that other fly s***!
