Eva Mendes’ mom critiques her fashion choices

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Mendes says her mother is her toughest fashion critic. The actress says she rarely puts a foot wrong when it comes to style due to her having her pushy parent watching her every move.

“Normally, I do something on the red carpet and wherever I am in the world she sends me a full email within minutes of everything she thought of my outfit,” says Eva.

“It’s really super cute. It’s not like crazy. It is never negative, it is always constructive.

“It’s like ‘Eva, I don’t know about that lipstick but that dress was gorgeous!’ And then it will say ‘Hmm, your shoes? But your hair was lovely!’”

Elizabeth Banks: I’m really skinny

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Banks admits she doesn’t weigh enough. Speaking to Allure magazine, the actress said she often gets told she’s too skinny.

“It’s not good to put in a magazine what I weigh because it’s too little. People freak out when they hear what I weigh,” Banks says.

“They think, ‘Oh, you’re too skinny.’ But I ate a cupcake last night — and I eat broccoli. I work out with a trainer; she kicks my ass.”

Janet Jackson doesn’t weigh herself

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson doesn’t weigh herself. The singer — who’s the ambassador for weight loss plan NutriSystem — admitted she opts not to know how much she weighs as a way to stay healthy.

“I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost, only because I stay away from the scale,” she said.

“I don’t think [stepping on the scale] is healthy. You’re setting yourself up to fail and women’s bodies fluctuate every month – certain time of the month in particular – we bloat a great deal.

“It works, point blank. You don’t have to starve yourself getting there. I love caramel apples! NutriSystem doesn’t have that, so that’s probably my cheat food. I go out to dinner with friends [too], but then I just get back on it. It’s about maintenance.

“If I’m getting ready for something like a tour, I work out six days a week. I like to switch it up. I may go for a run or bike. I’m really happy with the way that I feel at the moment. I feel very good, and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good.”

What’s going on with Lindsay Lohan’s face?

OHMYGOSSIP — The 25-year-old actress has hit the red carpet with a rather pillowy look that leaves us wondering if she’s had surgery – what is going on with Lindsay’s face?

There is a huge pressure to look to look picture-perfect in Hollywood and we’ve seen other stars, such as Meg Ryan and Melanie Griffith, with pillow faces, but at 25 isn’t it a little too early for Lindsay to be going under the surgeon’s knife?

Dr Sach Mohan who is one of the UK’s most sought-after cosmetic physician, says of Lindsay: “The drugs and booze have caught up with her very quickly, pictures of her a year ago showed a gaunt face with hollowing under the eyes. But look at her now.”

Revealing what surgery she may have had, he says: “Her surgeon has used fillers to raise the cheek and restore the eyelid-cheek margin, but unfortunately has gone a step too far, injecting too much, to leave her with the dreaded pillow face!”

Dr Sach belives Lindsay should stop messing with her face, saying: “The excessive filler use has continued below the cheeks too, leaving her without the defining features that made her beautiful. This step too far has made her now look 10 years older than she is.”

Khloe Kardashian lost 20lbs in 20 days

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian has managed to lose 20lbs in just 20 days! The reality star — who has never made a secret of her battle with her weigh — is seen posing in a dark purple two-piece on the cover of America’s Life & Style Weekly magazine, underneath the headline ‘How I got thin fast!’

It is believed that the main reason Khloe has managed to slim down is the fact that she has been having healthy, easy meals cooked for her by a personal chef.

Khloe — who is 5ft 10in and has also apparently been working out alongside her basketball player husband Lamar Odom, and his personal trainer, in a bid to shape up –  has spoken before about how difficult she finds it to be compared to her more petite sisters, Kim and Kourtney

“They are 5-foot and 5-foot-2, so I look massive next to them. Everyone expects me to be 9 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds when they meet me,” she said last year.

“My weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. It’s not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes.”

Cameron Diaz cried over haircut

OHMYGOSSIP — Cameron Diaz was an emotional wreck when she cut her hair into a short bob style. The actress, 39, has revealed she broke down in tears when a hairdresser chopped several inches off her signature blonde locks late last year.

“There was a little misunderstanding. I said, ‘Oh I just want a little bit off’ … and it went from here to here,” she said.

“I just burst into tears and started crying, and I felt so vulnerable. For a woman to all of a sudden have no hair, oh my god.

“I felt really bad, she felt really bad, she started crying, I started crying, a couple of other people started crying. I ended up writing her a few emails after, the next couple days, assuring her I wasn’t going to kill her.”

Zoe Saldana would have a boob job

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Saldana isn’t against the idea of getting a boob job. The 33-year-old says she wouldn’t mind getting a breast augmentation.

“‘Buy yourself a pair of titties.’ I heard somebody tell me this once and I I was like, ‘You know what? You’re absolutely right. Thank you for that,’” Saldana said. “And it just hit me, like, ‘Why not? But yourself a pair of titties.’

“If an old man was having a midlife crisis and can buy a Porsche and date a 17-year-old, I can buy myself a pair and be the sexiest soccer mom you’ve ever seen.

“As long as you’re doing it for reasons that are balanced for you [it’s okay]. It’s not even about judging what’s right or wrong. There’s nobody on this earth who can tell you that what you’re feeling is wrong. They can tell you it’s different to what they’re feeling. That said, I’m okay with people trying to do whatever it is they need to do to feel better.

“What doesn’t feel okay to me, what feels a little bit out of balance, is when you want to turn yourself into something else — when you want to be another person.”

Jenny McCarthy loves botox

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenny McCarthy isn’t against Botox! The star says she quite likes being able to hold back the years.

“I’m an obvious Botox user,” Jenny told Life & Style magazine when asked how she looks so great. “I tell everyone.

“I get Botox in my forehead. I just have my doctor do a little shot.

“Having your sister be your professional makeup artist helps.

“I just kind of take care of myself.”

Olivia Wilde likes being blonde

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Wilde will stay a blonde girl for a while yet. The sexy Tron star dyed her hair for a movie role but sees no reason to go back to the dark side.

“I actually really like it,” says Olivia who is dating actor Jason Sudekis.

“I’ve gone blonde before so it wasn’t as much of a shock as it could have been but I’m in no rush to go dark again.

“I’ve had lots of compliments about it so maybe it’s true what they say about blondes having more fun!”

Helena-Reet: Age is underrated!

OHMYGOSSIP — Helena-Reet Ennet insists she won’t have Botox. The 33-year-old A-list entertainment journalist and Ohmygossip Couture brand developer says she’d rather grow old gracefully and believes her face is her fortune.

“I can still move all my face muscles… Age is underrated!”

“You have two choices. You can have the work done and look weirder or have nothing done and look older. I prefer to be me and I prefer to be real. There’s beauty in an olderer woman. The lines represent something.”

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When society becomes our beholder instead of ourselves, to whatever extent we can even separate the two, I think that’s where we get into trouble. I’m not judging anyone’s decisions — our bodies are purely our own, as are our decisions.”
