OHMYGOSSIP — ALMA (real name Alma-Sofia Miettinen) has postponed her US tour dates to focus on her album. The ‘Chasing Highs’ hitmaker has announced that she will only be performing in Brooklyn, New York, on October 5 and Los Angeles on October 18, as she requires more time to get her new songs for her debut record just right.
This means concert-goers who were expecting to see the Finnish star in the US that month will have to wait a little while longer to see ALMA perform live, but she reassured them it will be worth the wait and she will be announcing new dates “soon”.
In a note to fans, she wrote on Instagram: “Hey I’m so excited to share new music with you soon … I’m deep in making the new album right now and hope you’re really going to love it. It needs a bit more time than expected and because of that I am sad to say I’m having to postpone some of my US tour dates. NY and LA I’ll still be seeing you as planned but need to be in the studio as much as possible the rest of the month. We’ll be announcing some new dates soon, thank you so much for being partient and coolest people in the world love you guys (sic)”
The 22-year-old star – who has worked with the likes of Charli XCX and Tove Lo – placed fifth in the 7th season of the Finnish version of ‘Idol’ in 2013. The singer-and-songwriter shot to fame featuring on rapper French Montana’s song ‘Phases’ last year.
ALMA – whose 2018 single ‘Chasing Highs’ peaked at number 18 on the Official UK Chart – has released three mixtapes so far, this year’s ‘Heavy Rules Mixtape’ and 2016’s ‘Dye My Hair’ and ‘Karma (Remixes)’.
OHMYGOSSIP — The Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Tel Aviv in 2019. Israel’s Netta Barzilai won this year and the event traditionally moves to the winner’s country. The Israeli government had talked about moving the show to Jerusalem to avoid backlash over America recognising the latter city as its capital, Ynetnews.com mediates.
However, a Eurovision spokesperson said they decided on Tel Aviv in the end for its “creative and compelling bid”. Mayor Ron Huldai commented: “Eurovision is a perfect fit for our city, which has been internationally acclaimed for its vibrant energy, creative spirit, its lively cultural scene and its celebration of freedom. We are looking forward to host a joyful and nonstop event in the spirit of Tel Aviv.”
The semi finals for the contest will kick off in May, with the grand final set for May 18. The 25-year-old singer triumphed at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, earlier this year, with her catchy track ‘Toy’ raking in an impressive 529 points from the viewer vote and the jury vote combined.
Speaking after finding out she had won, Netta said: “I’m so happy. Thank you so much for choosing different. Thank you so much for accepting differences between us. Thank you for celebrating diversity. Thank you. I love my country. Next time in Jerusalem!”
It was a close race between the countries, with Cyprus’ Eleni Foureira, Austria’s Cesár Sampson and Sweden’s Benjamin Ingrosso all topping the leaderboard at one point or another during the score reveal.
This year’s final – which was broadcast by BBC One in the UK – was a difficult time for British entry SuRie, whose performance of her track ‘Storm’ was interrupted by a protestor. Dr ACactivism snatched SuRie’s microphone out of her hand in the middle of the performance before being wrestled off the stage.
However, despite the mishap, the 29-year-old singer wowed with her performance, impressing the 20,000 that had packed into the arena. SuRie was offered to sing again by the team behind the contest but declined the offer. Other performances of note during the show included former winner Alexander Rybak returning for ‘Norway’ to perform his song ‘That’s How You Write A Song’ whilst Australia’s Jessica Mauboy impressed Eurovision fans with ‘We Got Love’.

Netta Barzilai (Hebrew: נטע ברזילי; born 22 January 1993), sometimes known by the mononym Netta, is an Israeli singer, recording artist and looping artist who won the fifth season of HaKokhav HaBa. This earned her the right to represent her country in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. On 12 May 2018, she won the contest, held in Lisbon, Portugal, with her song “Toy”, marking Israel’s fourth win in the Eurovision Song Contest (after 1978, 1979, and 1998).
Netta Barzilai was born on 22 January 1993 in Hod HaSharon, Israel. As a child, Barzilai lived in Nigeria for four years, where her father worked on a project for Solel Boneh.
Barzilai attended Hadarim High School in Hod HaSharon and was a counselor at an Israeli youth movement HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed. Prior to her mandatory enlistment in the Israeli Defense Forces, she spent a Service Year volunteering in the paramilitary Nahal. She completed her military service in the Israeli Navy Band. Afterwards, she studied electronic music at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.
In September 2017, Barzilai auditioned for season five of HaKokhav HaBa, Israel’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with “Rude Boy” by Rihanna. After receiving 82% of the votes, she advanced to the second stage of the competition in which she sang “Hey Mama” by David Guetta. In February 2018, she performed “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls, and although she lost a duel to Ricky Ben Ari, she proceeded to the next stage after being selected by the judges.
The last song Barzilai performed in the competition was a mashup of “Gangnam Style” by Psy and “Tik Tok” by Kesha. After receiving 210 points from the judges and audience, Barzilai won first place and the right to represent Israel at the Eurovision.
On 8 May, 2018, Barzilai participated in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest, winning the semi-final with 283 points and qualifying for the final on 12 May. In the final, she placed first with televoters and third with international juries, amassing 529 points in total and winning the competition.

OHMYGOSSIP — Thomas Markle thinks his daughter Duchess Meghan is “mothering” Prince Harry. The 74-year-old retired lighting director hasn’t spoken to the 37-year-old former actress since before she married the flame-haired hunk at the beginning of May but, from what he’s seen online, he’s convinced she’s controlling his dress sense – even though the royal family have strict fashion rules in place – and his eating habits, dailymail.co.uk mediates.
He said: “Meghan is very maternal by nature. She loves to cook and she will mother Harry. He’s eating properly now, he’s dressing the way she wants him to. All men need that.”
Thomas also hinted that their marriage may not work out as the brunette beauty took the same approach when she was married to her first husband Trevor Engelson, whom she split from after two years in 2013 due to “irreconcilable differences”.
Meghan and Harry tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, Windsor, on May 19 surrounded by their close relatives, fellow royals and their friends. Thomas was initially invited to the ceremony and to give Meghan away but he was forced to pull out of the big day at the last minute in order to have heart surgery. His decision not to attend the wedding came just days after he caused a stir when he staged paparazzi photos of him buying a suit ahead of the nuptials in Los Angeles.

Markle married student and secretary Roslyn Loveless in 1964; they had met the year before at an on-campus party at the University of Chicago. They have two children, Samantha (1964) and Thomas Markle Jr. (1966). Markle and Loveless divorced in 1975.
He married Doria Ragland at Paramahansa Yogananda’s Self-Realization Fellowship Temple in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on December 23, 1979 by Brother Bhaktananda. OHMYGOSSIP – Australian fitness model Tammy Hembrow has opened up about what really happened at Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party. The popular Instagram star, 23, was pictured being stretched into an ambulance at the bash – attended by the entire Kardashian clan including Kim, Kylie, Kendall, Khloe and Kourtney.
Taking to her YouTube channel, the Queenslander – who has, in the past, been named as Khloe Kardashian’s fitness inspiration – told her legion of supporters what had happened to her.
‘Firstly I want everyone to know that I’m ok…So yeah I pretty much collapsed. Honestly I’m already like super super embarrassed about it,’ Tammy said – appearing emotional on the clip.
‘I probably, definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because of how jet-lagged and exhausted I was and I already wasn’t feeling well.’
Tammy then went on to give some background details of what caused her collapse.
‘So basically what happened was I was in LA I was running off pretty much 30 hours of no sleep,’ the fitness model revealed.
‘I was struggling to stay awake even when I had my hair and makeup done…I could barely keep my eyes open.’
The star – who split from boyfriend Reece Hawkins earlier this year – then touched on the break-up.
‘I’ve been throwing myself into work way more than ever and I have my kids majority of the time…literally been non-stop on the job kind of thing,’ Tammy said.
‘I think because of the break-up, I’ve been trying to keep myself busy and not really taking time to think about how I’m actually feeling.’
Back in June, Tammy opened up about her split from Reece Hawkins – explaining the pair had gone through ‘ups and downs like everybody’.
‘One or two months ago, I decided to end things with Reece. He didn’t cheat on me, I didn’t cheat on him. It wasn’t like that at all,’ she said in another YouTube video.
The couple have two children together – Saskia, one, and Wolf, two.

OHMYGOSSIP — The two teenage boys stood awkwardly at a courtroom microphone Friday (2015) and, for the first time since Audrie Pott killed herself in 2012, apologized to the Saratoga High sophomore’s parents for sexually assaulting her the week before her death. Speaking softly, the boys also said they were sorry for spreading rumors and half-naked photos of Audrie, and for initially denying it all.

“I wish Audrie was still here, and I miss her a lot,” said one of the boys, who is now an 18-year-old senior at Saratoga High School. He read nervously from his notes but looked up at Audrie’s solemn parents, Sheila and Larry Pott, as he spoke. “She was a great person who didn’t deserve anything that happened to her due to my actions. I apologize. I wish I could make it right.”
The verbal apologies were part of a settlement reached Friday to end a wrongful-death lawsuit brought by Audrie’s parents that was set to begin with a jury trial on Monday. The boys’ families or insurance companies must pay the Potts a combined $950,000, and both teens are required to give 10 presentations at high schools or youth groups about the dangers of sexting, spreading nude photos, “slut-shaming” and alcohol and drugs.
The Pott family had settled weeks ago with a third teen, the only one whom lawyer Bob Allard said showed remorse and told the truth about what happened at the Labor Day weekend party in 2012 at a classmate’s house where the parents were away and the liquor cabinet full. The settlement brings to a close a sensational case that drew national attention about the fatal consequences of teenage drinking, sexual assault and smart phones in every pocket.
Larry and Sheila Pott stood silently facing the boys as they apologized. The second teen, who is now a senior at Christopher High in Gilroy, said that if he could, he would “take back the pain and suffering I caused Audrie and the Pott family. This has caused a tragedy to all involved due to my actions. I will do everything I can to mentor teens to not do what I did in September 2012.”
The Potts left the courtroom without comment. The teenagers, one dressed in a suit and the other in a dark jacket, also left quietly but hugged their parents in the hallway afterward. Mothers of both boys wiped away tears.
Audrie was just 15 when she told her mother she was spending the night at a friend’s house, but didn’t tell her about the alcohol-fueled party that would ensue. She drank too much vodka mixed with Gatorade and passed out in an upstairs bedroom. She woke up the next morning to find nasty messages scribbled all over her half-naked body. She tried in vain to find out what had happened, Facebook messaging her friends, saying that she believed “everyone knows” and she had a “reputation for a night I don’t remember.” She wrote, “my life is over.”
All three boys, who were 15 and 16 at the time, already admitted in juvenile court that they digitally penetrated Audrie and possessed photos of her half-naked body. Two of them were sentenced to 30 days in jail, served on weekends so they could continue attending Saratoga High, according to documents obtained by this newspaper.
The third, who attends Christopher High, was sentenced to 45 consecutive days. This newspaper is not naming the boys, who are 18 now, because they were juveniles at the time of the crimes and are not identified in court documents.
The Pott family had been outraged by what they considered light sentences imposed on the boys and a lack of remorse. They filed the wrongful death lawsuit in an attempt to hold the teens more accountable for their actions. Settling the case means that a dozen Saratoga High School teenagers who either attended the fateful party or saw the photos of her the next week won’t have to testify in a trial. It also means that the Potts won’t have to suffer through allegations that the discord Audrie experienced among her divorced parents and stepmother contributed to her despair.
After their daughter’s death, Sheila Pott and Larry Pott, and his second wife, Lisa Pott, established the Audrie Pott Foundation and championed the passage of “Audrie’s Law,” which toughens penalties against California juveniles accused of similar crimes.
In court Friday, along with the individual verbal apologies, both teens agreed to a printed apology that was included in the settlement. In it, they said there were sorry “that we said things that made it seem Audrie invited or encouraged these acts. We admit that we committed these acts and shared inappropriate images of Audrie to others. I apologize for initially denying these acts.”
They admitted Audrie was unconscious at the time and “did not consent to what we did.”
“I apologize for false rumors about Audrie that served to shame and humiliate her,” the apology said. “Audrie did not deserve nor would any human being deserve what we put Audrie through. She was a good and principled person who did not deserve what happened to her.”
As part of the settlement, the teenagers also agreed to be interviewed in a film documentary already in production about the case, although their identifications would remain secret and their faces would be obscured.
In open court, with the boys standing with their hands folded in front of them, Santa Clara County Judge Brian C. Walsh recited the crimes they admitted to in juvenile court, that they sexually penetrated Audrie while she was intoxicated and possessed lewd photos of her. When he asked whether they acknowledged their part in those crimes, both boys responded, “Yes, your honor.”
Walsh praised both sides for coming to terms, saying it will save the anguish that was sure to come during a trial.
“We’ve stopped the trial where guns were going to be blazing and people were going to get hurt,” Walsh said. While the “terrible tragedy can never be undone,” he said, he hopes the positive aspects of the settlement will serve to help others.
The boys are preparing to graduate from high school this spring. As part of the settlement, they promised to support a petition for Saratoga High to grant Audrie an honorary diploma. Their written apology made it clear “my actions contributed to preventing her from graduating.”
Their apology also said that: “We would like every teenager out there to understand that words about someone’s character can have a life-altering effect.”

Audrie Taylor Pott (May 27, 1997 – September 12, 2012) was a 15-year-old student at Saratoga High School in Saratoga, California, who died by suicide. She had been sexually assaulted at a party eight days earlier by three 16-year-old boys she knew, and nu de pictures of her were posted online with accompanying bullying.
On September 30, 2014, California Governor Jerry Brown signed Audrie’s Law, “a bill that increases penalties and decreases privacy protections for teens convicted of se x acts on someone who is passed out from drugs or alcohol or incapable of giving consent due to a disability”
Background:
On September 3, 2012, Pott went to a party with about ten other teenagers where she became drunk. A few kids had stolen rum, and an adult had bought them vodka at a liquor shop. Once she was drunk, she was dragged up the stairs and into a bedroom. Three or more teenagers sexually assaulted Pott there. Three 16-year-old boys whom she knew eventually pleaded guilty to and served time in juvenile hall for the sexual assault. Markers were also used to draw and write on her body, and photographs were taken and distributed via social network and MMS. In the following days, Pott was bullied by some who saw the photographs. On September 12, 2012, she killed herself by hanging.
Investigation:
In April 2013, three sixteen-year-old boys were arrested in northern California on suspicion of sexual battery to Pott. Pott’s parents also filed a lawsuit against the three teenagers, and in July 2013 they added a fifteen-year-old girl as a defendant in the suit, alleging she was present during the assault and later lied about it to help cover it up.
A documentary film titled Audrie and Daisy, about the sexual assaults and social media bullying of Audrie Pott and Daisy Coleman, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2016.
OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen “loves listening to other people’s children cry.” The 32-year-old model is currently sat on a long-haul flight with her two-month-old son Miles and her two-year-old daughter Luna – whom she has with her husband John Legend – and she has joked that there’s nothing she enjoys more than watching her two sound asleep while other people’s kids are screaming the plane down.
Taking to her Twitter account on Sunday (22.07.18) night, Chrissy wrote: “Have survived first 15 hour flight with 2 year old and newborn. One more leg to go. I truly love hearing other kids cry now because it means it’s not my own. That’s a better feeling than silence, honestly (sic).”
Chrissy has been very open about her motherhood journey over the past two years and recently admitted that breast feeding has been a struggle for her – so much so that she had a meltdown when she accidentally spilt a bottle she had pumped.
Taking to her Twitter account, the blonde beauty uploaded a video of her syringing the spilt milk off her table while her friend attempted to spoon it into one pile. She said with a laugh as she tipped a drizzle into the bottle: “I spilled my breast milk and this is how important it is in this household. We’re trying! I got some.”
She captioned the clip: “I am so jealous of people with plentiful boobies.”
A fan then suggested that she looks into a milk bank as a “back-up”, to which Chrissy replied: “whoa is this real? I know milk banks and doner milk exists but this looks so…professional!,” before adding: “I CANNOT believe I wrote “doner” – I want to die. why would my phone betray me like this. anyhow, this is incredible. (sic)”

Christine Diane Teigen (born November 30, 1985) is an American model. She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and, alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge, appeared on the cover in 2014. She formerly was a part of the lifestyle panel talk show FABLife and currently co-hosts Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Paramount Network.
Teigen was born in Delta, Utah. Her father is of Norwegian descent, and her mother is Thai. Teigen’s father worked as an electrician, and the family moved often. OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan is in talks for a new reality TV show. The ‘Mean Girls’ star is reportedly teaming up with Bunim-Murray Productions – who work on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’, ‘Project Runway’, Citizen Ruth’ and her mother Dina’s 2008 show ‘Living Lohan’ – for an MTV series that is expected to focus on her new beach club on the island of Mykonos in Greece.
A source told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: “Lindsay is telling pals that she has a signed deal for a new reality show. Bunim/Murray is producing, and it’s about Lindsay’s new beach club in Greece. [It will be like a] cooler, hipper, edgier ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ ”
According to the insider, filming will begin in August when the island’s summer season is in full swing, and will later shift to show the 32-year-old star launching a new club, with Lindsay reportedly planning a second outlet in Rhodes, Greece.
The source added: “The show will have this European flavour to it. Lindsay feels that it’s not so uptight like filming in Los Angeles or New York, and they can get a better cast of characters.” And the programme could also feature “a lot of English” guest stars, the insider said.
Meanwhile, the ‘Machete’ actress previously admitted she feels “uncomfortable” with people describing her as a party girl these days and labelled previous stories about her antics “all lies”. She fumed: “What does that even mean? I get so uncomfortable with that word, ‘party.’ People are still stuck in the past, of the stories I had in L.A. and I hate it. It was all lies.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore has come off dating sites. The 43-year-old actress split from her husband Will Kopelman, with whom she has children Olive, five, and Frankie, four, in August 2016 following four years of marriage and, although she initially tried to fill her time by swiping backwards and forwards on the dating apps, she’s since decided she likes the single life and doesn’t have time for love.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight‘, she said: “I got off [dating apps]. It was fun to try though. I’ve been working out there in the public since I was young so that myth of the blind date alluded me and I always wanted to do it so that was like a dating app for me. But then it’s not blind on my side so it just, I don’t know, doesn’t work.”
And, even though she was desperate to get out there again after her split, Drew was shocked that none of her friends attempted to set her up with anyone. She explained: “None of my friends ever set me up! I think I have the same old friends for so long, were all in such a rhythm, we don’t even think like that.”
The ’50 First Dates’ star is now using her spare time to look after herself. She said: “Working mums forget to put a little bit [of time and effort] into ourselves but the tiniest little bit of concealer can make such a difference in your self-confidence. So even one minute or 30 seconds, can just sort of boost your self-esteem, and it’s important to remember to take that time to do that.”
Drew is now on a mission to prove to her two daughters that she’s a strong woman. She explained: “I think that it’s good for little girls to see that being self-employed, self-generated, self-inspired is a really important thing. But to remember there is no I in team, you do nothing on your own and it really takes a village to accomplish anything.”
OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa McCarthy doesn’t want her kids to watch the ‘The Happytime Murders’ until they’re 40. The premise of the movie is that puppets actually exist but are considered to be inferior citizens to humans and the 47-year-old actress plays sugar addicted cop Detective Connie Edwards who along with private investigator puppet Phil Phillips – voiced by Bill Baretta – must scour Los Angeles looking for a puppet murderer, Collider.com writes.
Despite its puppet cast the comedy-crime film is R-rated and Melissa insists her daughters, Vivian, 11, and Georgie, eight, have zero chance of watching the adult themed movie. The comedian – who has her kids with her husband Ben Falcone – said: “It’s definitely a grown-up movie. My kids are like, ‘We can’t wait to see this!’ And I’m like, ‘I can’t wait to show you, when you’re 40! It will be so wonderful, when you’re 110 and you can see this!’
“I think it’s part of the fun of it. Somebody was saying that there’s always that thing, when you watch something from The Muppets, one of the movies, or Sesame Street, that when the lights go off, somebody says cut, and they walk out the back door, you wonder if they go into the real world and have a life? This is really seeing behind the curtain. When the lights are off and they’re not having to perform for people, you see the real grind of their lives, and there’s something really cool about it. There’s a weird, edgy coolness, and it’s really funny.”
A lot of the comedy in the film – which has been made with The Jim Henson Company, responsible for creating The Muppets – is improvised, and Melissa has reminisced on the fun she had with the people playing the puppets while shooting the movie. She said: “They’re crazy! They’re crazy funny! All of them improvise. You can throw anything at them. Every time Drew [Massey], who plays several things in this, did a take, it was completely different, which both delighted and irritated me. I was like, ‘Is this written down?! I really work on this, and I think you might just be saying stuff, off the top of your head.’ And each one was super specific, really funny and completely different.”
OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Hunter thinks it is “important” for boys to see ‘The Incredibles 2′. The 60-year-old actress’ animated alter ego, Elastigirl, takes centre stage in the new movie while her husband, Mr. Incredible is a stay-at-home dad, and Holly thinks it’s great to see a female character “idolised” by others in the film because it’s so unusual.
She said: “It’s fun to see a woman idolised in this way. It’s not common. We tend to idolise men. So it’s great for all our eyes to see a woman revered and respected. Maybe it’s even more important for boys to see it.”
Holly admitted it was “thrilling” to see her character take on an unexpected position and is pleased there has been a demand for female superheroes. She told thetimes.co.uk: “That’s the cool thing about Elastigirl. She’s not pretending to be a man. She is approaching the superhero job with a different skill set from any man’s. It’s thrilling in a way I never imagined. She inhabits this space culturally that is a little unexpected. It’s fun to see her kicking ass, and how mathematically she approaches her solutions. She’s alone, too. Autonomous. And there is a real appetite for that.”
And Holly is unsure whether the role reversal between hers and Craig T. Nelson’s characters would have been depicted in a similar movie around the time of the first film, 14 years ago.
She mused: “That’s interesting. Because, of course, the 1960s happened. Gloria Steinem. Billie Jean King. We had our own civil-rights movement. Like, women are equal, right? Don’t we get the same opportunities? And the answer in the 1960s was, ‘Hell, yes!’. And then it didn’t happen. But we are having a reawakening. I’m a tea drinker, right? Well, somebody gave me tins to put my tea in, and one was called Little Miss Bossy, the other Mr Strong. That’s sexism. If you’re a strong woman, you’re bossy, if you’re a strong man, you’re strong. So, right now, it’s imperative for us to see women being heroic.”
OHMYGOSSIP — Hannah Spearritt wants her ‘EastEnders’ character to flirt with Danny Dyer’s alter-ego. The 37-year-old singer-turned-actress will reprise her role as Kandice Taylor – the younger sister of Albert Square loudmouth Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) – and she is keen to get up close and personal with Queen Vic landlord Mick Carter, admitting it would be “fun” to act alongside the ‘Football Factory’ star, Dailymail.co.uk mediates.
She said: “I won’t beat around the bush – a scene with Danny Dyer would be brilliant. I think that Mick would humour Kandice’s personality – but she would probably be too busy flirting. That would be fun. When my new scripts came through the door, I saw that I had scenes in the Queen Vic and went, ‘Oh my God!’ ”
The former ‘Primeval’ star’s second stint on ‘EastEnders’ will only see Kandice return for a handful of episodes, but Hannah would love to make it a hat-trick at some point. She said: “It works well for me to dip in and out, so I’d be honoured if they did ask me back – you never know what is going to happen. I’d love it if Kandice lost all of her money and had to come grovelling to Karen. You can imagine her without all of her fancy clothes, and how she’d feel about not being able to get her nails done.”
But the original S Club 7 singer admits it was “daunting” waiting to see if her ‘EastEnders‘ debut would be met with a positive reaction. She added to Inside Soap magazine: “I couldn’t wait to return. ‘EastEnders’ is a huge show, and it was daunting wondering how I would be received – so I was overwhelmed by the positive response. I’ve loved playing the over-the-top aspects of Kandice – from her dog and car, to her make-up and hair.”
Hannah previously admitted she was delighted to have joined the soap. She said: “I’m over the moon to be joining the show, it’s such a huge part of British telly. I’m really looking forward to getting started and I can’t wait to see the Square in the flesh. Walford here I come.”
In December, Kandice gave Karen £1,000 to help pay off debt collectors, but she will need help from the Albert Square resident upon her return.
OHMYGOSSIP — Ella Eyre has started taking public transport again to gain musical inspiration. The 24-year-old singer likes using the underground because it forces her to “take in” what’s going on around her because she can’t get distracted by her phone and it gives her ideas for new songs.
She told the Metro newspaper: “When I first started writing, my inspiration came from sitting on the bus or the Tube. I started doing that a lot less. Recently, I’ve started getting the bus and the Tube again and realised how influential that can be on my writing. I’m forced to take in my surroundings, not staring at my phone in my car. When you are underground you don’t have signal.”
However, fans of the ‘Together’ singer could be in for a long wait for a new album from the star, but she insists that doesn’t mean she will be “disappearing” or that there won’t be any new songs before then.
She admitted: “An album is a long way off. We are not in an album market. I don’t want to feel pressurised into releasing an album just because it was three years since my last one. I want to make sure by the next album I have an improvement on the last. My last album took three albums to write. If it takes six years, it will take six years. In the meantime, there will be lots of music. It’s not like I am disappearing.”
When it comes to her live shows, Ella has no plans in place. She said: “Playing a song live is trying to get people engaged in the first 30 seconds. I use it as a gauge to see if it goes off like I thought it would. I don’t have any set choreography, I just run around like a lunatic. “Sometimes I don’t even know what the lyrics are and no one knows anyway, so you just make them up!”
OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber asked Stephen Baldwin’s permission before proposing to Hailey Baldwin. Following tradition, the ‘What Do You Mean’ hitmaker asked Hailey’s father before deciding to get down on one knee during a holiday in the Caribbean.
A source told TMZ that Justin met with Stephen a few weeks ago, where Stephen gave his blessing to the happy couple and thinks they’re perfectly matched because the have the same Christian values.
Justin confirmed his engagement to Hailey in a loving tribute to his new fiancée on Instagram.
Posting a photo of himself with Hailey, he wrote: Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you!
