Eva Longoria planning to adopt a baby?

Eva Longoria is set to follow in the footsteps of Hollywood superstar Sandra Bullock – she’s reportedly planning to adopt a baby. Sources say the Desperate Housewives actress — who recently filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker – has started the adoption process and intends to raise her baby as a single mom.

“She has started the adoption process,” an insider told InTouch Weekly magazine.

“She has reached out to several agencies but has possibly settled on one now. Her eyes and heart have turned toward Haiti.

“Eva wants a baby more than anything. For months, it’s been all she talked about — she was literally obsessed. For a while, Tony was even coming regularly to the Desperate Housewives set for baby-making time, but then that stopped suddenly.”

Longoria has previously revealed her desire to start a family.

“Family is very important to me, it means everything — it is the root of who I am and what grounds me,” she said.

“Tony is family to me, he is my most important family member. We are very close and we both want a large family – we both make our family a large priority in our lives.”
