Bruno Tonioli has undergone a gruelling fitness regime so he can keep up with the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ stars

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Tonioli has undergone a gruelling fitness regime so he can keep up with the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ stars.
The 62-year-old ballroom judge has decided to hit the gym every day as part of a boot camp-style routine – including 1,000 sit-ups and press-ups to tone up his body.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I have to start my day with this workout as I am getting older and rounder.”
Bruno has also been lifting weights as part of his goal to lose some weight and get back in shape after piling on the pounds over the summer months.
He admitted he wants to look “ripped” for the cameras so he isn’t shown up by the younger pro dancers.
The BBC star is in demand, following reports last month that music mogul Simon Cowell wants him for his new show ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
The talent show boss thinks Bruno would be “perfect” for the programme, which would allow members of the public to participate and promises to feature dances across hip-hop, jazz, Bollywood and contemporary genres.
A source previously said: “Simon has always thought the world of Bruno and thinks he’d be perfect on ‘The Greatest Dancer’.
“Simon has never been afraid to take on the BBC and ‘Strictly’, but it is a different story now his show is on the same channel.
“That said, he still wants the best people for his series and he thinks Bruno is one of them.”
