Emma Samms’ snout snub

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Samms was once turned down for a role because of her “nose job” – even though she’s never had work done on her snout.
The ‘Doctors’ actress had applied to be in an advert when the commercial’s bosses rejected her because they thought it was “too obvious” she had gone under the knife to have her muzzle modified.
She wrote on Twitter: “Many years ago I didn’t get hired for a commercial and they told my agent the reason was “her nose job is too obvious”.
I haven’t had a nose job. (sic)”
Ever since then, the 57-year-old star – who recently reprised her role of Amanda Clay in the BBC One daytime soap – has believed she has a beak which looks like a “bad nose job”.
She tweeted: “Apparently I was born with a nose that looks like a bad nose job (sic)”
In May, the former ‘Dynasty’ star – who portrayed Fallon Carrington Colby in the US soap – took to Twitter to reveal she had to wear an eye patch for a week after she was struck down with Bell’s palsy, which caused temporary facial paralysis.
She wrote on Twitter: “So. For the past week I’ve had a thing called Bell’s Palsy. I have a wonky smile, am in slight danger of dribbling a cup of tea and can’t close my eye. Not the end of the world.
Trying to style it out with the eyepatch (sic)”
Fortunately, her facial paralysis cleared up just days later and she didn’t require the eye patch.
She tweeted: “Happy to report that the paralysis on my face is now 90 percent better and I no longer need to wear the eyepatch.
Thank you again for all your kind words. They really helped! #bellspalsy (sic)”
