Christina Hendricks prefers groceries over Johnny Depp

Christina Hendricks certainly has her priorities right! The busty Mad Men beauty has revealed how, during her days of modeling at the age of 18, she sold her invitation to Johnny Depp’s birthday party — just so she could buy groceries!

“One day, my modeling agent handed me something and said, ‘This is an invitation to Johnny Depp’s birthday party.’ I thought it was a joke,” she said.

“I don’t know Johnny Depp. I was so confused. Then this flashbulb went off: ‘Oh…Johnny Depp has no idea this is going on. Someone is setting this up and is inviting models to his party.’”

Hendricks said she sold the ticket for “Fifty bucks!” and “I bought groceries.”

Christina recently admitted she’s flattered about the positive attention her curvy body attracts.

“When the attention started to be about my figure, I was surprised, because it wasn’t something I was focused on,” she said. “And then it became very positive, and people were saying very nice things.

“My mother never said to lose weight.

“Diets were never a big deal. My mom was always beautiful and voluptuous and curvy, and I always thought she was gorgeous.”
