Elton John and David Furnish to adopt from South Africa?

Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish are planning to adopt a child from South Africa — according to a new report.

British tabloid The People claims the 63-year-old Rocket Man singer and David — who failed to adopt a baby from Ukraine last year — are keen to give a South African child a home after Elton performed a concert there earlier this year.

“Both he and David are desperate to have a child,” a source said. “They were devastated when they couldn’t get the baby last year.

“But after Elton went to South Africa as part of his tour, he realized the huge HIV problem out there and wants to help.”
