OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Cornish has broken his silence after dramatically leaving the ‘Love Island All Stars’ villa.
The 26-year-old TV star had left the programme on Wednesday (17.01.24) after only being there for just three days.
Since his departure, Jake remained silence, until he updated his fans on Instagram on Thursday (18.01.24).
In a post to the social media platform, he wrote: “Love to you all. Home time.”
Jake also shared a picture of his dog, and shared his excitement about reuniting with his beloved canine friend.
He wrote: “Get to see my good boy.”
On Wednesday’s show, Jake pulled over the group to reveal he was leaving the South African villa, and emphasised that didn’t want to “give his [my] energy” on a relationship that was “forced”.
He said: “Everyone can we go to the fire pit for a minute. I was here to find love and there is no one here I have that connection with. I don’t want to waste time, I don’t want to give my energy to someone and it’s just forced, fake. I just want to let you all know I am going tonight.”
Jake also insisted that there was no “bad blood” between himself and ex-girlfriend Liberty Poole, who he had been coupled up with on Monday night (15.01.24).
In a statement released by ‘Love Island’ Jake insisted leaving the the right decision, as it wasn’t “the right time” for him to “find love”.
He explained: “After a few amazing days in the Villa, I’ve made the decision to leave Love Island: All Stars as I’ve realised that now isn’t the right time for me to find love as I would never want to force a connection.
“I have no regrets whatsoever as I’m so glad I got to enjoy my time in the Villa reuniting with some familiar faces as well finally getting an opportunity to clear the air with Liberty. I wish her and all of the other Islanders the very best and will be cheering them all on from home.”
