OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Manford will return to host a second series of ‘Unbeatable’.
The BBC game show, which debuted in 2021, will once again be testing the knockout knowledge of contestants against their fellow opponents as they compete to win the jackpot prize.
Jason, 41, said: “What’s great about ‘Unbeatable’ is that you can’t ever really look stupid on this show, because the answers are already on the screen – you just have to pick the best one.
“It’s a brilliant show to work on and this series is going to have people jumping up and down on their sofas and shouting at the telly!”
The programme sees four players battle it out solo in the first three rounds by finding unbeatable answers to build up their personal banks, before going head to head with the other opponents for a chance to make it through to the final.
Contestants will have six rank-able answers to choose from on each round.
The answer they deem unbeatable will determine whether they bank £1,000 or win nothing, and the strongest player remaining will go through to the final for a chance to double their earnings.
Michael Mannes, MD 12 Yard Productions, added: “We’re delighted to be back with a second series of ‘Unbeatable’. Jason is a brilliantly funny quiz host and we’re the sure the audience at home will have a great time playing along.”
Alex McLeod, Commissioning Editor for BBC Daytime, said: “Unbeatable is a great and interactive quiz show that you can sit down and play with your family or on your own from the comfort of your own home.”
‘Unbeatable’ will start on BBC Two in September, and will then be shown on BBC One in autumn.
