Nicola Adams and Ella Baig welcome baby boy

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Adams and Ella Baig have welcomed a baby boy.
Former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Nicola took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she and Ella welcomed their baby boy on Saturday (09.07.22) but they have yet to reveal the tot’s name.
She wrote: “We are so excited to announce to the world that @babyadamsadventures has arrived. The first moment we laid eyes on you we felt an instant love and the strongest bond. We went to the moon and back to get you and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives watching you grow #babyboy #twomoms #twomums.”
Nicola told HELLO! magazine: “We are so excited to have welcomed our son into the world on Saturday morning at around 7am. Nothing prepares you for this moment in life but I am so overwhelmed with love and proud of Ella. We can’t wait to start this new chapter with baby Adams.”
The pair revealed in February that Ella was pregnant with the couple’s first child and announced in April that they were expecting a boy.
Nicola, 39, said: “It’s super cool. I’m excited, happy, nervous and just wondering what to expect.
“All my friends have boys, so I was like: ‘Yes!’ when I found out.”
To reveal the news they were expecting a son, the couple threw pink and blue at a blank canvas before covering it with a rainbow of paint splatters and handprints and peeling back vinyl letters to show the words “It’s a boy”.
And the pair were keen to reject gender stereotypes when revealing the baby’s sex.
Influencer Ella, 24, previously explained to HELLO! magazine: “Being part of the LGBTQ community, I am aware of the issues surrounding gender reveals, as they often reinforce gender stereotypes.
“I thought this was a good opportunity to bring awareness to the difference between sex and gender and make it less stereotypical. We started off with the pink and blue, then got rid of it.”
