Ronan Keating’s son joining ‘Love Island’ as Casa Amor contestant
OHMYGOSSIP — Ronan Keating’s son is joining ‘Love Island’.
The former ‘Boyzone’ singer’s 23-year-old boy Jack Keating – the eldest of three children he has with 48-year-old wife Yvonne Connolly – has been named as one of six lads who will be seen on Friday night’s (01.07.22) show, entering its Casa Amor villa.
The social media marketer said about his famous father ahead of being seen on the show: “Yeah my dad is a singer. He will be watching when I’m on it for sure.
“He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates.”
Jack added he is willing to break up existing ‘Love Island’ couples by deploying “some good chat” and “a bit of Irish charm”.
He’s the second celebrity’s child on this year’s series, with Gemma Owen, 19, entering the villa to the dismay of her 42-year-old former footballer dad Michael Owen.
The other Casa Amor arrivals hoping to tempt the ‘Love Island’ females from their current partners are models Josh Samuel Le Grove and Samuel Agbiji, both 22 and 25-year-old accounts manager Deji Adeniyi.
They are also being joined by labourer George Tasker, and roofing company owner Billy Brown, both aged 23.
The identities of the latest lads was announced by ITV ahead of Friday’s ‘Love Island’ instalment, which will reportedly see the female castmates head into Casa Amor for the first time in three years.
Castmates including Gemma, Paige Thorne, 24, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 27, and Indiyah Polack, 23, are set to be told they are heading for cocktails, but are instead taken to the rival villa where they will be greeted by the new array of male contestants.
A source told MailOnline Casa Amor will be “the girls’ holiday of their dreams” this series, adding: “This year it’s all about the girls – they have kept the boys on their toes and will continue to do so by leaving the main villa and heading to Casa Amor.
“The new arrivals are ready to turn heads and for the first time in three years it will be the female stars of the show preparing to walk back into the villa with potentially a new man on their arm.
“It’s all to play for and the likes of Gemma and Luca’s relationship, as well as Jacques and Paige’s will be well and truly put to the test.”
‘Love Island’ airs at 9pm weekdays and Sundays on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
