OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood is going to miss his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ co-star Bruno Tonioli after he quit the show to focus on his work in America.
Bruno has been a judge on the BBC show since its debut back in 2004, but he announced his departure earlier this year with pro dancer Anton Du Beke being drafted in as his permanent replacement on the panel.
Now, co-star Craig has admitted things won’t be the same without him, telling MailOnline: “I am gonna miss him but then I do get to spend quite a few months with him travelling around the country in a Mini so I get my yearly fill which is quite good.”
Craig and Bruno teamed up to film ‘Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips’ together, showcasing some of the best drives in the UK.
Bruno now spends most of his time in the US, where he films the American version of ‘Strictly’ – ‘Dancing With The Stars’.
Craig admitted there’s one star he met during a trip to the US with Bruno who he’d love to get on ‘Strictly’.
He added: “I’d like Simon Cowell because I think he would be brilliant television. I’ve met him but I’m not friends with him, It was in America actually with Bruno.”
Bruno had to miss the 2020 series of ‘Strictly’ due to the COVID-19 outbreak as he was in the US filming ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and appeared virtually from the States.
He was replaced by Anton for the 2021 show and it was announced in May that the dancer would be taking Bruno’s spot on the panel permanently.
