OHMYGOSSIP — Honey G is “very proud” of herself after completing her third triathlon.
The 41-year-old rapper – whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford – shot to fame as the novelty act on the 2016 series of ‘The X Factor’ and took to Instagram to share that she had discovered her “passion” for swimming, cycling, and running by chance.
Alongside an image showing off her transformation, she wrote: “I’m very proud of myself having now completed my 3rd Triathlon. I never knew I would become this passionate about a type of sport and I have truly fallen into triathlon by chance.”
The star – who earlier this year appeared on ‘Celebrity Coach Trip’ after initially taking up work as an estate agent – has reportedly lost two stone and dropped six dress sizes since coming in fifth place on the TV talent show, finishing off her transformation post by thanking event organisers for boosting her confidence
She added: “Thank you @eventsatw for motivating me and encouraging me to do your events it’s built my confidence a lot and helped me to believe in myself more and show me how capable I am.”

She said: “I used to wear loose and baggy clothes that went up to a size 18, but I’ve thrown most of them away as my taste has matured. [My weight loss] has given me the confidence to put myself out there. ”
Meanwhile, Honey G is working on an autobiography titled ‘Honey G, Unmasked’, which is set to be published later in 2022, in which she will “unmasking the truth behind the music and the performances.”
