OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer has been going through a “tough week, mentally”.
The ‘EastEnders’ star – who will leave his role as pub landlord Mick Carter later this year – admitted his brain has been “attacking him” lately.
The 41-year-old actor said: “I am feeling very spiritual, I have had a tough week, mentally, you know this is what it is about now you need to express.
“All you people listening, we go through these times when we don’t know who the f*** we are and we struggle knowing who that is.”
The ‘Football Factory’ star – who has two other children, Sunnie, 14, and Arty, eight, with his wife Jo Mas – wanted to “put it out there” about his mental health to help others.
Speaking to his co-host daughter Dani Dyer in the latest episode of their podcast ‘Sorted with the Dyers’, Danny said: “It’s been on me a little bit, brains been attacking me it is really difficult, so I just wanted to put that out there because I needed to do that.
“Anyone who is struggling you need to open your mouth and say and stop saying, ‘You’re fine.’ If your not, then express it.
“It is important. Now, I’ve expressed it I feel slightly better, still, a little bit f***** in the nut, I am not going to lie. So anyone listening to this, don’t worry. I am going through it too and you will be OK.”
This comes after Danny’s ‘EastEnders’ character Mick was previously portrayed as struggling with his mental health as a result of non-recent sexual abuse and the return of his abuser Katy Lewis (Simone Lahbib).
