OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Allen’s dad has died.
The ‘Apprentice: You’re Fired’ host took to Instagram to reveal he is in “total shock” after his his father passed away of a heart attack on Tuesday night (30.11.21).
He wrote: “I’m so sad to report that my wonderful dad has died. It was a total shock. He was with mum and he had a heart attack last night. He grew up in one room in Penge and worked hard every day of his life. He said things like ‘You can never run out of love’ and ‘Always go into everything with a good heart’. He was also inclined to write ‘shove it’ in a birthday card. (sic)”
The 38-year-old comedian admitted he wanted to tell his followers about his father’s passing, because it was part of his “grieving process”.
He added: “It feels like part of the grieving process that I wanted to tell you: He was a wonderful kind man and we love him very much. Here he is on his 80th earlier this year with me and my brother. (sic)”
Tom was inundated with messages of condolence from several of his famous friends, and fans.
Former ‘TOWIE’ star Gemma Collins wrote: “I’m so sorry”.
Ex-footballer Jamie Redknapp commented: “So sorry to hear this Tom”
‘King Gary’ star Tom Davis wrote: “So sorry to hear this Tom. Much love to you and your family at this sad time. X x (sic)”
Former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Catherine Tyldesley sent “love and strength” to Tom and his family.
She posted: “Sweetheart I’m so very sorry. Sending love & strength to you all (sic)”
TV presenter Gaby Roslin wrote: “Oh Tom I am so very sorry. Sending you so much love and my deepest sympathies to you and your family”
Fellow comedian Alan Carr posted: “Oh Tom, so sorry for you. Love to you and your family”
