OHMYGOSSIP — Tilly Ramsay is tipped to make millions after ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 20-year-old TV star – the daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay – has become super-popular with viewers of the BBC One dancing competition and she is set to rake in various earnings from endorsement deals and other opportunities due to her popularity on TikTok and other social media platforms.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Tilly’s popularity has soared since she started on ‘Strictly’ and, if she is clever, she could bank a million over the next couple of years.
“She has had loads of offers for endorsements and brand partnerships because companies can see how much appeal she has — especially because of the graceful way she has dealt with being shamed over her body.
“Tilly’s TikTok account has also grown since she joined ‘Strictly’, along with her profiles on Instagram and Twitter, and she has now got 9.6 million followers on TikTok alone.
“Ultimately, even if she doesn’t get her hands on the glitterball trophy, she will still be leaving ‘Strictly’ as a winner.”
Tilly and her partner professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin were saved by the judges over Olympic gold medal winning swimmer Adam Peaty his and his professional partner Katya Jones on Sunday evening (07.11.21).
Last month, Tilly increased her army of admirers when she defended herself from Talk Radio DJ Steve Allen using his show to label her a “chubby little thing”.
Tilly addressed the comments on her Instagram account, writing that the radio host – whose comments prompted more than 800 complaints to media regulator Ofcom – could “feel free to voice your opinions, however I draw the line at commenting on my appearance” and said he had made “such a positive experience negative”.
Tilly felt proud and “happy” that she clapped back to Steve but outlined her desire to “move on”.
She told the Metro newspaper: “I’m happy I did that. But I also did it in order so I can draw a line under it and move on, and focus on what’s important right now, which is dancing, university and just having a good time.”
