OHMYGOSSIP — Lynne McGranger believes Justin Morgan may have killed Susie McAllister in ‘Home and Away’.
Although Lynne’s alter-ego Irene Roberts is under suspicion for the death of Susie (Bridie Carter), the 68-year-old actress revealed she is considering the possibility that Justin (James Stewart) is the guilty party.
Lynne told Digital Spy: “I did have my suspicions… I actually thought it might have been Justin! I know that Justin has had a lot of pain issues after his surfing accident and an addiction to painkillers.
“I just felt that this could be the stick that breaks the camel’s back – that he was pushed to the edge when he and Leah [Patterson] realised that Susie had run off with $90,000 worth of their savings. I mean, this woman was a serious piece of work.
“I don’t think Leah is capable of it, I don’t think John Palmer is capable of it, I think John is a softy and was heartbroken by Susie.
“That was my feeling at the time when I read the script. I thought it could be Justin, but I guess we now just have to wait and see!
“Irene is also a little bit suspicious of Justin and quite frankly, wouldn’t blame him for losing it at Susie.”
However, before the real killer is found, Irene is in for a tough time as she was the last person to see Susie alive.
Lynne explained: “Needless to say Irene is feeling a little bit nervous when the cops want to talk to her because she doesn’t have the best track record! I think this is the third time Irene has been arrested for murder.
“Irene was the last person to see Susie alive before she disappeared after Susie chloroformed her. Irene was found in a heap on the floor at John’s house and of course Susie had bailed.
“So I think Irene is feeling very nervous because the cops are aware that she has got a violent history, even though she knows that she is absolutely innocent.”
