OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie Wallace’s cat has been found “safe and sound” after he went missing for “a few days”.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress – who plays Kat Slater in the BBC One soap – took to social media this week to appeal to anyone living in the Muswell Hill area of north London to keep an eye out for her feline Oscar – but, fortunately for the soap star, her four-legged friend has now returned home.
She wrote on Instagram: “Home safe and sound. The little s***”
Several of Jessie’s followers admitted they were pleased Oscar was found safe, including her ‘EastEnders’ co-star Emma Barton (Honey Mitchell).
She commented: “Thank god”
Jessie had earlier shared a picture of Oscar and asked her 107,000 followers to let her know if her cat was spotted in the area after he hadn’t returned home.
She wrote: “MISSING! In N10 area. This is Oscar he is slightly bigger than this now and hasn’t been home for a few days. If any one sees him in this area please let me know. thank you (sic)”
Last year, Jessie was left stunned when she witnessed someone being “mugged for their toilet paper” outside one of her local supermarkets, during the first national lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She tweeted at the time: “This is getting so crazy now! Some one got mugged for their toilet paper outside Waitrose in Muswell hill! WTF!!!! (sic)”
Her shock came after Brits flocked to supermarkets in their droves to stock up on toilet roll following the COVID-19 outbreak.
