OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Walsh’s earnings reportedly soared by almost £1 million in 2020.
The 61-year-old presenter – who has hosted ITV’s ‘The Chase’ for more than 10 years as well as being at the helm of ‘Blankety Blank’ and appearing on ‘Doctor Who’ – saw a rise in fortunes last year.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, new accounts reveal his Wingit Productions company has cash and assets worth £12.3 million.
This is around £800,000 more than the £11.5 million it had in 2019.
As well as his solo presenting roles, Bradley’s ‘Breaking Dad’ series alongside his son Barney has been recommissioned for another run.
And both Barney, and Bradley’s wife Donna, will also get a share as the director and secretary of Wingit.
An insider said: “Bradley is such a popular star on ITV, in particular, that it’s little wonder that he has the potential to earn so much money.”
Since starting on television in 1988, Bradley has had acting roles in the likes of ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Law & Order’, while he released his debut album ‘Chasing Dreams’ five years ago.
He also has a property firm with his wife, and owns a £2.5 million Essex farmhouse.
It was recently revealed Barney has joined the cast of ‘The Larkins’ alongside his dad, who is already attached to the new TV adaptation of H.E. Bates’ novel ‘The Darling Buds of May’ as patriarch Pop Larkin.
Now, his son has been confirmed for the project as PC Harness.
Other new names confirmed for the series include former ‘Doctor Who’ star Peter Davison, who will take on the role of the Vicar, and Amelia Bullmore will star as Miss Edith Pilchester.
As well as Bradley, Joanna Scanlan (Ma Larkin), Sabrina Bartlett (Mariette Larkin) and Tok Stephen (Charley Charlton) have already been announced for the six-part show.
