OHMYGOSSIP — Lord Alan Sugar would like to “punch” Martin Lewis in the face “for no real reason”.
The ‘Apprentice’ frontman took to Twitter to reveal he and his wife Ann Simons have chats about which people’s mugs they would like to hit, and the finance expert is “one of [his]”, despite admitting he is “most probably a nice guy”.
Alan wrote: “I often discuss with my wife about people faces you would like to punch for no real reason.I know it’s not fair, they maybe perfectly nice people. She has her list of faces.Martin Lewis is one of mine.He is most probably a nice guy. I am sure some people think the same about me (sic)”
But the TV star saw the tweet, and he was quick to fire back and call the businessman out.
Martin wrote: “I don’t understand the point of this tweet or of copying me in. If you’re trying to start an argument I’m not biting. It’s unnecessary, and if I may suggest would be best for all if you deleted. (sic)”
Lord Sugar’s comment comes as Martin has been enjoying a three-day stint presenting ‘Good Morning Britain’ this week, alongside regular host Susanna Reid.
He took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, after his spell on the show concluded earlier today (30.06.21), and also praised 50-year-old Susanna as an “incredibly generous and supportive” co-host.
Martin tweeted: “Thanks to (almost) all of you for your support on @gmb week. It’s a privilege to step out of my usual subject area.
“@susannareid100 is an incrediblely generous & supportive co-presenter behind the scenes and the team have looked after me well making it so much easier. /contd
“And a secret about my interviewing texhnique (if you can call it that) . I can’t read briefs on set as the print is too small without my glasses, so I have to just to listen to the guests and ask questions based solely on what they say. (sic)”
