OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Dyer accepted a cameo in ‘EastEnders’ without thinking of the “anxiety it would cause” her waiting for her stint to air.
The former ‘Love Island’ star appeared as taxi driver Jeanette for some dramatic scenes alongside her dad Danny Dyer’s character Mick Carter earlier this month – and the 24-year-old actress had “so much fun” appearing opposite her father.
She said: “I really loved it, we had so much fun.
“When I got asked to do it I just said yes, not thinking about the anxiety it would cause me waiting for it to be aired. [face with tears of joy emoji] (sic)”
In her scenes, Jeanette went into labour while driving Mick to his wife Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) pregnancy scan, resulting in him missing it.
Dani – who previously starred alongside Danny in ‘Nativity! The Musical’ – admitted she feels fortunate to be able to work alongside her dad.
In an Instagram Stories post, she added: “Love working with my dad, we have such a special bond and I’m really lucky to be able to work with him (sic)”
Earlier this month, Dani – who has six-month-old son Santiago – admitted she would love to take on more acting roles following her ‘EastEnders’ stint.
Asked about her future as an actress, she said: “I’ve always loved acting, it’s so much fun to do.
“So I would definitely like to pursue more, but I think we just have to see what the future holds…”
Dani also previously starred opposite Danny in his 2006 movie ‘The Other Half’, 2009’s ‘Doghouse’ – which also featured ‘Line of Duty’ stars Stephen Graham and Lee Ingleby – 2012’s ‘Run for your Wife’ and 2013 film ‘Vendetta’.
