OHMYGOSSIP — A semi-professional footballer is among the hotties taking part in this year’s series of ‘Love Island’.
Toby Aromoloran is hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winter series winner Finn Tapp by finding love on the ITV2 show, and explained how his life has changed since he joined his current team, Hashtag United.
Following the release of the full list of Islanders for this year’s series, the 22 year old – who hails from Essex – said: “I’ve played football since I was about six, but it’s really come into a new light for the past year since I joined a team called Hashtag United.
“They’re very social media focused. Everything is on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. Playing with them has really made me fall in love with the game again.”
Meanwhile, one of Toby’s future love rivals, Brad McClelland, admitted his dream is to make lots of money while doing as little as possible.
The 26-year-old labourer from Northumberland said: “I try and make as much money as I can by doing as little as possible. They’d probably say – not lazy, as I’m energetic – I just try to get away with doing literally nothing.”
Brad says his ideal women are former Islander Zara McDermott and actress Megan Fox.
Toby and Brad could find romance with estate agent Faye Winter, 26, who claims she is loved by the husbands when doing house viewings.
She said: “I try to make it as ‘Selling Sunset’ as possible. I’m definitely there in the mini dresses, boobs out, bum out, turning up and you can see the wives say to their husband, ‘You’re staying outside’. It’s so fun.”
Faye, who hails from Devon, added: “I’m open to anything. The opportunity came up so why wouldn’t I?
“I’d love to meet somebody, what better way to meet somebody than in the sun – amazing.”
Elsewhere, party girl Kaz Kamwi insists that she will not be the responsible one in the villa.
The 26-year-old fashion blogger said: “Life is a party – I’m not the mum in the group, my friends are not looking at me to look after them!”
Kaz continued: “I like meeting new people, I’m ready to be in a relationship. Why not be in a place where people are looking for the same things as me?”
And Chloe Burrows explained that she is looking for love on the island because she has been in bad “situationships” and wants a loyal man with a “good build”.
The 25-year-old marketing executive, who hails from Bicester, said: “I like a good build. I go to the gym. I want someone who is funny. Really funny and caring and will do nice little things for you.
“And then obviously someone who you can depend on to not ditch you.”
England physical disability cricketer Hugo Hammond, water engineer Jake Cornish, model Shannon Singh, Nando’s waitress Liberty Poole, beauty queen Sharon Gaffka and luxury events host Aaron Francis were among the other contestants confirmed earlier today (21.06.21).
Laura Whitmore returns to host the new series of ‘Love Island’, which begins next Monday (28.06.21) on ITV2.
