Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: I love women and I wanted to make something for all women

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wanted her lingerie range for Marks & Spencer to appeal to women of all sizes so every lady can feel sexy. The supermodel has revealed in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine that her aim was to create underwear to suit ladies of all different shapes and sizes with her high street collection ‘Rosie for Autograph’ for high street store Marks & Spencer.
Instead of just targeting slim women like herself, Rosie was adamant that there should be an option for everyone.
In her interview in the publication – for which she was photographed by David Slijper – she explained: “I was really conscious that I didn’t want to put out a product where women would think, ‘She’s made something that only a twenty-something model can wear.’ I love women and I wanted to make something for all women.”
The range – which includes lingerie sets and nightwear – has been very successful for the beautiful blonde.
The 27-year-old catwalk superstar – who is dating Jason Statham – said: “Women actually come up to me and show me their bras. I get tweets and texts, and people will Instagram what they’re wearing, and it’s women of all different shapes and sizes and ages, and that makes me very proud.”
The full interview with Rosie appears in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar (www.harpersbazaar.co.uk/rosie-huntington-whiteley-september-issue), on sale August 5.
It is also available as a digital edition.
