OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Jayne Dunn would “do anything” to appear on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star has begged BBC bosses to let her compete on the BBC Latin and ballroom competition as she would love to strut her stuff on the dance floor.
She told the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column: “I would do anything to be a contestant on ‘Strictly’. It has been my dream as long as I can remember, since watching ‘Come Dancing’ as a little girl.
“And I think it’s any girl’s dream to wear incredible outfits and be taught how to dance professionally.”
It comes after Sarah was “absolutely thrilled” to be able to have a break from hair and beauty treatments during the coronavirus lockdown.
Quizzed on how she feels about not being able to get hair and beauty treatments, she said at the time: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have a break from all of that.
“I’ve not worn a scrap of make-up since Friday.
“It’s nice to give my routine a bit of a rest, so I’m looking forward to letting my nails grow, giving my skin a breather and living in tracksuits.”
The 39-year-old actress spent the majority of lockdown working out a lot at home to keep up her exercise, and she was confident her mental health would not be affected by missing out on the gym, because she planned daily yoga sessions.
When asked if her mental health could be affected by not being able to go to the gym, she replied: “No, because I’ve recently started taking time out to journal and meditate, and that’s really helpful.
“I’ve also given myself a goal of doing yoga every day.”
