OHMYGOSSIP — Brooke Vincent might be up for a ‘Coronation Street’ return when her sons “get to a certain age”.
The 28-year-old actress has insisted her two boys, 18-month-old Mexx, and four-week-old Monroe, are her number one priority at the moment, and she can’t see herself returning to the “very demanding job” anytime soon.
Asked if she would like to go back to ‘Corrie’ at some point, she said: “It depends.
“I love ‘Corrie’ and it will always be my home, but it’s a very demanding job and quite restrictive as you have to be based near Manchester.
“I’ve been doing it since age 11 and that’s been my priority, but now I have the boys they’re my priority.
“Maybe when they get to a certain age.”
Brooke – who played Sophie Webster from 2004 to 2019 – admitted the soap’s bosses might not even want her back.
She said: “If they’ll have me back that is – I’ll be saying, ‘Please give me my job back.’ ”
Brooke welcomed Monroe into the world on May 4th, but there were some complications as her waters broke hours before her scheduled C-section.
She added to OK! magazine: “My birth was a little bit more complicated this time.
“I was booked in for 11am on May 4 and I’d planned to take Mexx to nursery, but I went into labour at 2am.
“I didn’t really know if I was in labour or not. Because I wasn’t meant to go in until the morning.
“I didn’t want to inconvenience people, so I didn’t want to call my mum or midwife. But all of a sudden I was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m definitely in labour.’ ”
