OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Ferry is considering quitting her TV career for a quieter life.
The 24-year-old star has hinted that the upcoming season of ‘Geordie Shore: Ten Years On The Toon’ could be her last, revealing she feels like a “completely different person” to the teenager who joined the show in 2015.
Chloe – who has a salon franchise and other business interests – told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I think I’m just going to do one more season of ‘Geordie’ and I think I’m done with that then.
“I think I want to start steering away from TV and I want to start expanding my salons.
“I want to start doing more business side of things, and focus on that area in my career. That’s what interests me.
“I feel like I’m so different now to who I was when I first was on TV.”
Despite this, Chloe suggested she could be convinced to remain in the TV industry if she was offered her own show.
But in the long term, she plans to move away from reality TV.
She said: “My ultimate goal is to go away to an island and live on a farm and have a quiet life.
“I want to be where nobody knows me.”
Chloe admits that living her life in the public eye has had a damaging impact on her mental health.
She explained: “I went through a situation where I had really bad depression about two and a half years ago and nobody knew about it.
“I was in Las Vegas, and I didn’t want to leave my room. I don’t think people realise how hard it is and how much pressure is placed on you when you’re in the public eye. You are constantly getting judged on anything you do every single day.”
