OHMYGOSSIP — Charley Webb was left fuming with her son after he told the star her eyes looked “really baggy and old”.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress informed her 11-year-old boy Buster he had been “extremely offensive” after he questioned how much make-up she was wearing and then criticised how her eyes looked.
Speaking on her Instagram Stories, the 33-year-old star said: “I picked Buster up from tennis and he went, ‘You’ve got far too much make-up on.’
“And I was like, ‘Well, I’ve barely got any on actually, I’ve just got a bit of mascara on.’
“And he went, ‘Oh yeah, that’s what it is, you haven’t done underneath your eyes. They look really baggy and old.’ ”
Charley – who also has sons Bowie, five, and 21-month-old Ace with her Dales co-star and husband Matthew Wolfenden – admitted she was “annoyed” by the youngster’s remark.
Detailing how she reacted to his comment, the Debbie Dingle star said: “‘Sorry? Sorry? What?’
“I was, I don’t even know, I can’t even tell you how annoyed I was, but he was like, ‘Oh no, I’m not being rude, I didn’t mean it to be offensive, I was just saying.’
“I was like, ‘Well it is offensive, it’s extremely offensive.’ ”
Last week, Charley told how she had been left “in agony” following a car accident when someone drove into the back of her vehicle on the motorway.
She said at the time: “So, I’m out of the house early, got a chiropractor appointment.
“I was driving home yesterday and somebody smashed into the back of my car on the motorway.
“I was still, there had been a traffic jam and the girl was really apologetic, bless her, but I’d been stationary for quite a while so she obviously wasn’t concentrating or watching where she was going because she came right into the back of me.
“And it wasn’t actually that big of an impact – I didn’t jerk forward or anything but my lower back, I’m in agony.
“It must just be like the adrenaline at the time you don’t realise and I don’t understand quite why it’s as bad as what it is but, oh my word, it’s so painful.”
