OHMYGOSSIP — Will Mellor is bed-bound and feels “absolutely horrendous” after having his coronavirus vaccine.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor took to Instagram to share a video the day after he had his first Astra-Zeneca jab, revealing he could “barely lift [his] head off the pillow”, and he feels like an “80-year-old man” when he attempts to walk.
He said: “I had the COVID jab yesterday, and I feel absolutely horrendous.
“I can barely lift my head off the pillow, my arms are like lead.
“I’ve got aching bones and all my back is aching. It’s like I’ve literally got the full-blown flu.
“When I try to walk it’s like I’m an 80-year-old man.
“I’m not joking – it’s horrendous.”
Will – who plays drug lord Harvey in the ITV soap – reassured his followers that the way he has been affected wouldn’t be the same for everyone, but he recommended people do not book anything up for the day after their jab “just in case”.
He added: “Obviously not everyone is going to get it like this, but just to let you know it’s a possibility.
“So, if you’re going to have the jab don’t plan anything for the day after just in case.”
The ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’ actor captioned the video: “Day after #covidvacccine !! #astrazeneca (sic)”
Will’s comments come after former ‘Corrie’ star Michelle Collins admitted she has been feeling “very lethargic” and “nervous” ahead of her second coronavirus vaccine.
Earlier this month, she wrote on Twitter: “Have felt very lethargic this week , strange , something in the air ? Looking forward to things opening up but also a feeling of nervousness , waiting for 2 nd jab , anyone else feeling like this ? (sic)”
