OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Greco has undergone a third hair transplant to correct a previous “botched” surgery.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actor sought help from the British Hair Clinic for the first time for his latest hair transplant, and he was “delighted” with how the surgery went.
He said: “It was much smoother, more professional.
“The surgeon, Dr Zabeeh, clearly knew what he was doing and it was a much more enjoyable, relaxing day than what I have experienced before.
“I recommend the British Hair Clinic to everyone, it’s local and they know their stuff.”
The 50-year-old star – who portrayed Beppe di Marco in the BBC One soap from 1998 to 2002 – admitted one of the inspirations for him to have the op was that he is going to be a father for the first time.
Speaking in a video on the British Hair Clinic’s Instagram page, he said: “Since I was a teenager I started to lose hair.
“Some people can shrug it off and shave it and don’t care, don’t miss it, but most men, especially if they’re a bit younger, think, ‘If I can get my hair back with all these amazing treatments that they have these days why not?’
“It’s the first time I’m going to have a kid and I bawled my eyes out when my missus told me about it.
“So, new baby, new hair.”
Michael is now looking forward to having a “new head of hair” and a child this summer.
He added: “The operation went well, really happy with it.
“In comparison to the botched one I had many years ago, it was so much better, more professionally done.
“Lots to look forward to in the summer – I’m going to have a new head of hair, a new baby, so life’s good.”
