OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ star Daniel Brocklebank has encouraged his social media followers to return to “living” amid the easing of coronavirus restrictions.
The 41-year-old actor – who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap – has taken to Twitter to post a photo of himself enjoying a pint of beer in a “sunny pub garden” and has urged his followers to enjoy themselves as the lockdown restrictions are gradually eased across the UK.
The soap star captioned a picture of himself with a pint: “Bloody love a sunny pub garden!! Happy Sunday beautiful people. Let’s get back to living. #Cheers [hearts emojis] (sic)”
Earlier this month, Andy Whyment – who plays Kirk Sutherland on ‘Coronation Street’ – enjoyed his first pint in six months in his local pub after lockdown restrictions were eased across England.
The actor took to Instagram to post a photo of himself and his wife Nichola Willis at their local pub.
Alongside a picture of them enjoying a pint, Andy wrote on the photo-sharing platform: “Shops have reopened and our 1st draught pint in 5 and a half months down at our local club the Botanical Gardens feels like a bit of normality has resumed have a great day everyone [smiling and heart emojis] (sic)”
And in response, his co-star Daniel said: “Yay!!!! [clapping emojis] (sic)”
Daniel also discussed the easing of lockdown restrictions on his Twitter account.
He said on the micro-blogging platform: “If lockdown has taught me anything it’s that the smallest things were definitely the biggest. I will never take anything for granted again.”
