OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Barton-Hanson has signed up for the new series of ‘Ex On The Beach’.
The reality star – who first found fame on ‘Love Island’ – is set to film the MTV series in Colombia next month.
A TV source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “The show is all about scandal and confrontation and Megan is outspoken and feisty, so producers were pleased to sign her – she makes great telly.”
Megan previously revealed she was planning to start “dressing like a nun” in her bid to find love.
The TV star explained last year: “I’ve never been angelic but I’m going to start dressing like a nun in the New Year.
“I’m looking for love now. I feel like at my age I’ve had enough dates, enough partners and enough of seeing different people, I’m not about wasting time.
“As you get older, you don’t want to just have a quick fling.
“I’ve always worried about being the trophy girlfriend or if men would just want to sleep with me or have me as a girlfriend as an ego thing.
“I want someone who is super- genuine, doesn’t get into stuff seriously and is just up for a laugh.
“And someone who is up for a socially distanced date on New Year’s Eve – someone spontaneous.”
Megan has also insisted she would prefer to date someone who is not in the public eye.
She explained: “I would prefer to date someone out of the public eye.
“It would just be nice to go to the shop and not be spotted.
“I think when both of you are well known it attracts so much attention.
“And obviously from past experiences my first public relationship went horribly wrong at the end.
“So yeah, I think it would just take the pressure off.”
