OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Shepherd regrets buying her £1.4 million home in Essex.
The 31-year-old TV star has revealed that the property has proven to be a huge “headache” for her, rather than the dream home she thought it would be, after they were denied planning permission for the renovations they’d originally hoped to make.
Billie – who bought the property more than a year ago with her husband Greg Shepherd – explained on ‘The Mummy Diaries’: “Someone else has also said to us that we should probably think about knocking the house down and start all over again – it’s just becoming one thing after another.”
Billie admitted she’d have never bought the house in the first place if she’d realised how much trouble it would cause her.
The blonde beauty and her husband have considered reapplying for planning permission to achieve the changes they want – but the couple aren’t sure if it’s worth the hassle.
She said: “It would have been nice to know that like six to eight months ago because if we are going to knock the house down it means we’re going to have to reapply for planning permission and start this process all over again.”
Greg – who has Nelly, six, and Arthur, three, with Billie – admitted the situation has also been causing him stress.
The TV star said that the whole scenario had become a huge “headache” for the couple.
He shared: “We’re basically left with four walls of the house and it’s going to be more a headache holding those four walls up while they’re building the house around it so that’s been stressing me out.
“If that is the case and we do go down that road, it means new drawings, new planning permission, new headache basically.”
