OHMYGOSSIP — Ranvir Singh is to guest host ‘Lorraine’ next week.
The 43-year-old TV presenter will take the reins of the morning show on Monday (21.12.20), Tuesday (22.12.20) and Wednesday (23.12.20) next week while regular presenter Lorraine Kelly is on holiday.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ today (16.12.20), Ranvir said: “I am so excited.”
Lorraine has tipped Ranvir to be “fantastic” on the programme.
She said: “It’ll be great. You will be brilliant on this show. You’ll be fantastic.
“I shall be at home with a cup of tea watching my Ranvir.”
And the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant joked she will hopefully not “mess it up” if the presenter is watching.
She said: “Will you? I better not mess it up then had I? Especially not if the boss is watching!”
Lorraine replied: “As if you would. I’m looking forward to next week.”
Ranvir was the latest star to be eliminated from ‘Strictly’ over the weekend alongside her partner Giovanni Pernice, and she has admitted “a little bit of tiredness” crept up on her towards the end of her stint on the Latin and ballroom show.
She added: “If it was up to me I would’ve had a tea break every 20 minutes, but Giovanni was in charge, so instead I just practiced.
“I think in the end maybe a little bit of tiredness definitely crept up on me.
“Giovanni, if he was here, would say that. In the sense that my energy levels definitely started to reduce a little towards the end.
“I think it was a build up of a lack of sleep and working, and obviously I’ve got a son to go home to.
“So I couldn’t really train until 10pm. So it was a lot of juggling.
“But it was amazing to do.”
