OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Watson struggles to answer a question on ‘Harry Potter’ during his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ trial on Monday (30.11.20).
The 54-year-old tenor nominated himself to take part in the next trial on the ITV reality series, and in scenes which are set to air on Monday night, the singer can be seen struggling to get the correct answer to a question about the hugely popular book and film franchise.
Russell’s trial is called ‘Rancid Rotisserie’, and involves the star lying on a rotating bed, which dunks him into an unknown liquid. Once inside the liquid, Russell must find a sign with a category printed on it, before answering a trivia question about his chosen category.
And in a preview clip, Russell can be heard complaining about the temperature of the disgusting liquid.
He says: “It ain’t half cold! Does it have ice cubes in it?”
Russell then tells show hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly – known as Ant and Dec – that he picked up a literature sign, and agrees to answer the question so that he doesn’t have to go hunting for another category.
Ant then says: “Okay, literature. Listen up! Here’s your question. What is the name of the first in the series of ‘Harry Potter’ books? Is it A) ‘Chamber of Secrets’, B) ‘Philosopher’s Stone’, or C) ‘Goblet of Fire’.”
The camera then shows Russell looking visibly irritated as he tries to remember the correct answer, before the preview video comes to an end, leaving viewers on a cliffhanger.
Also on Monday’s episode, one more celebrity will be saying their goodbyes to their campmates as they leave Gwrych Castle for good, following the departures of Hollie Arnold and Ruthie Henshall.
