OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Mulhern’s ‘Rolling In It’ has been commissioned for a second series.
The 43-year-old presenter is set to return for a second series of the popular game show, which previously proved to be a hit with TV viewers, attracting a peak audience of 4.2 million people during its first run.
Stephen said: “I thoroughly enjoyed making this series and I am delighted that the viewers loved it as much as I did and that we will get the chance to do it all again. I can’t wait to get started.”
The popular show sees three contestants play alongside some of their favourite celebrities in a bid to win a big cash prize.
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of ITV Entertainment Commissioning, said: “‘Rolling In It’ was a huge hit with our viewers who loved the jeopardy of the game but also the infectiously heart-warming relationship that developed between the celebrities and the contestants.”
The first series of the show featured an appearance from reality star Gemma Collins, and Stephen previously admitted to being shocked by the size of her entourage.
He shared: “I went into her dressing room, it was like a ‘Who’s Who’. And I had to start going round. I went, sorry. Hello. I’m Stephen. Nice to meet you. So, what do you do? Oh, I’m Gemma’s PA.
“PA? Right. Do you mind if I ask what you do? Oh, wardrobe. What? She’s only got one change. You’re definitely make-up because yeah, you’re ready to go. And the dressing room was bigger than mine and I’m like, how’s this worked?”
Stephen also revealed that Gemma, 39 – who first found fame on ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ – admitted she didn’t even know what the show was about.
