OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann wants to find a man before an Essex lockdown.
The 30-year-old reality star spent the nationwide lockdown single and she has vowed to find a boyfriend before her hometown in Essex is potentially locked down again, amid the coronavirus pandemic, because she doesn’t want to be alone.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I am looking for a boyfriend ready to sign a deal tomorrow. I cannot do another lockdown being single.
“I’m hoping I just hit it off with someone and we get on so well we can join a support bubble. I can move him in, and the rest will be history.”
Ferne – who has two-year-old daughter Sunday with former boyfriend Arthur Collins, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in November 2017 for an acid attack – has been searching for a new beau on the celebrity dating app Raya, but admitted the pandemic has hampered her love life.
She added: “The restrictions are killing off people’s love lives. It’s terrible.”
The former ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’ star – who was previously dating Albie Gibbs, but they split earlier this year – recently vowed to remain celibate until she found The One.
She said: “The longer I don’t have sex, the longer I don’t need it.”
Ferne believes her outlook on sex changed when she turned 30 in August as she started to challenge herself.
She said: “I feel my whole outlook on sex has definitely changed as I’ve got older and having lockdown and that time on my own really started to bring up different questions in my head.
“I want it to be important and be meaningful. Could I do it? Yes. But it’s like a diet; once you tell yourself don’t eat chocolate, all you can think about is chocolate!”
