OHMYGOSSIP — AJ Pritchard suffers from OCD.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star has opened up about living with the condition (obsessive-compulsive disorder), and how it can be tough working with his brother Curtis at times because he likes to be “in control”.
The two siblings are plotting a live tour together next year while also working on a new podcast.
Speaking to FUBAR Radio hosts Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on ‘Access All Areas’, AJ said: “For me, especially as a producer and an OCD person, I’m really writing it and taking control of everything and placing Curtis in there.
“No, I can’t write Curtis’ script because Curtis will have a script … we’ll do 40 shows and not one show will be the same.
“He will start in a different place, we’ll be doing a dance and he’s supposed to be over there and he’ll be sat in the front row.
“He literally goes kamikaze when there’s a live audience. It’s amazing for the audience, but for me, it’s like, ‘What is happening?’
“I like to be very much in control.”
The siblings have been living together at their family home during the coronavirus lockdown along with AJ’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen, and Curtis, 24, admitted the walls are a bit too thin.
He recently said: “Our bedrooms are right next to each other in our family home, where we are isolating in Cheshire.
“I don’t think you need to say any more. Put it this way, I am scarred for life. I don’t know whether to shake his hand or say I am disgusted in you AJ.”
However, there have been some advantages to “being the third wheel”.
He added: “AJ bought a TV because Abbie wanted one for the bedroom, but it didn’t fit on the wall, so they had to give it to me.
“I have it in my bedroom now. Being the third wheel ain’t too bad. Abbie cooks for me. I have free accommodation.”
